Abstract

Background: A learning module, which is one of the learning facilities contains material, methods, and limitations. At Universitas Negeri Makassar, especially in the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, there are only limited courses that provide learning modules. This study aims to develop a learning module for Road Material Testing course in the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Modules are beneficial because the self-instruction learning system in the module allows students to study independently so that learning resources do not always have to come from lecturers.Methods: This study employed the model by Puslitjaknov (2013) which is the simplified RnD design by Borg and Gall. The stages of research include the development of learning modules, analysis of data validation results, and revision of the developed products. The research instrument used was questionnaires which were given to media and material experts to assess the validity. The other instrument was used for testing students who had previously learned about Road Material Testing.Results: Based on the validation done by material and media experts, the developed module is in the Very Valid category. The results of large-scale field trials of the module with students of the Building Engineering Education study program at Universitas Negeri Makassar show that it is Very Valid (89.65%).Conclusion: The Road Material Testing learning module was developed in accordance with the Semester Lesson Plan of Road Material Testing course with four Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), nine sub-Course Learning Outcomes of final competencies, and four learning activities.  The module was developed based on the results of the validation from material and media experts. Then, based on small and large-scale trials, the module is considered easy to understand.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to 1) describe the form of the question made by vocational school teachers, 2) elaborate the teacher's method in preparing questions to evaluate the learning outcomes, 3) explain the teacher's comprehension in preparing questions that measure high order thinking skills, and 4) analyze the teacher's skills in preparing questions that measure high order thinking skills. The research is descriptive and correlational. The population and sample of this research are productive vocational high school teachers who teach at the Technical of Construction and Property expertise program in the province of South Sulawesi. Data collection was carried out in March – June 2021. Determination of the samples used the Slovin formula with an error rate of 0.05. The sample used is 59 respondents. Analysis of research data using descriptive statistics and cross-tabulation. The results of the study show that 1) the form of questions combines an objective test and a subjective test. 2) the preparation of examination questions is preceded by making a question grid, then dividing the categories of questions based on their cognitive level. 3) Dominant teachers have understood the preparation of questions that measure high-level thinking skills, however, almost 40% of teachers still need further strengthening. 4) Dominant teachers have been skilled in preparing HOTS questions, however, there are still 20% of teachers who still need assistance in preparing High-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions. 5) Teachers with 11-20 years of service are more dominantly skilled at preparing HOTS questions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of an Industrial World-Based Printing Graphic Design E-Module at SMK Negeri 1 Selayar. The type of research that the author uses is Research and Development (R&D). Using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Which is modified into a 3D model (Define, Design, and Develop). The results of this study indicate that the learning media in the form of Industrial-based Printing Graphic Design E-Module is appropriate for use in teaching and learning by teachers and students. Based on several stages of trials, the learning obtained was valid with the eligibility level of the validity test with the results of media expert I of 94.2% and media expert II of (81.7%) with a very valid category, the author's practice test obtained results on material expert I of (96.8%), on material expert II of (95.3%) and on the test of 20 training students (93.7%) with a very practical category, based on the results of this product test, it can be useful for teachers, students and advanced students

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the implementation of the Prakerin Program at SMK Negeri 2 Toraja Utara and to identify the factors that influence the success of the program. This research is a qualitative research using the CIPP model evaluation. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document study. The research respondents consisted of PKL supervising teachers, street vendor participant students, and related parties at school. The results of the study show that (1) context aspects: vision and mission have been translated into the formulation of graduate competencies, objectives have not been fully achieved, the curriculum has been synchronized with market needs by involving IDUKA, (2) input aspects: implementation strategy, placement procedures, scheduling and budget management has been carried out according to procedures, communication with IDUKA has been improved, (3) Process aspects: implementation has been according to procedures only monitoring has been intensified, (4) Product aspects: good results, street vendors program is beneficial to students, schools and IDUKA, impact the street vendors program has not been significant for graduate absorption, cooperation with IDUKA needs to be improved. North Toraja 2 Public Vocational School has not yet carried out a thorough evaluation of the implementation of the street vendors program. This research is expected to provide useful input for SMK Negeri 2 Toraja Utara in improving the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of the street vendors program. In addition, this research can also be a reference for other vocational education institutions in optimizing the PKL Program in order to prepare students to enter the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia on vocational basic subjects that are valid, practical and effective for use in Middle and Vocational Schools. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4-D development model with the stages of define, design, develop, and deploy. From a series of research stages, an Interactive Multimedia was produced in the Vocational Basic Subject of Visual Communication Design. Software testing is done by validity test, practicality test and effectiveness test. The results of reliability testing by expert validation and blackbox tests show that the application is valid to use. The practicality testing research subjects were 13 respondents from students at SMK Kartika XX-1 Makassar, from the test results obtained responses in the very practical category of using the application, for the overall test results, indicating that the application was valid, practical and effective and very feasible for use in actual situations and conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to determine the results of the development of canva-based learning media at SMKN 5 Bone, and (2) to find out the development of canva-based learning media developed to meet valid, practical and effective criteria. This research uses Research and Development research methods carried out at SMKN 5 Bone. The research data was obtained by giving questionnaires to 34 respondents. Data analysis techniques used percentage descriptive analysis. The test results show that Canva-based learning media is easier and more practical to use in making designs. For system developers Data collection techniques through questionnaire collection to measure basic graphic design learning outcomes./1The validity of Canva-based media is assessed by media experts and content experts. The results of the media validation test show that canva-based learning media can be categorized as valid with a validity level by media experts of 3.86 and content experts of 3.42. Practical test of learning media by students amounted to 82% with a very practical category. Thus the resulting media can be declared very valid and practical to be used as learning support media.

Abstract

This research is an evaluation study using the CIPP model which concern to evaluate the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at the Center for Excellence Vocational High School with a focus on achieving context, input, process, and product. The informants in this study consisted of school supervisors, principals, vice principals, and tenth and eleventh grade subject teachers who were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) Evaluation of the curriculum implementation context in the form of suitability of school criteria, content standards, vision, mission and school goals is sufficient to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum; (2) Evaluation of inputs in the form of readiness, understanding, preparation, and infrastructure is quite ready even though there are components of facilities and infrastructure that need to be further optimized; (3) Evaluation of the process in the form of implementing the Independent Curriculum has not been maximized because there are still teachers who still use old techniques in learning, have not implemented assessments, have not implemented the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, and the infrastructure has not been optimal; (4) Product evaluation of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is good enough in terms of the positive impact given in the form of increased learning outcomes and student activity in learning as well as motivation and achievement in participating in competitions. The conclusion from the research results is that the evaluation of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at the Center for Excellence Vocational School is quite good because it can be seen from the increased student learning outcomes. Based on the conclusions of the research results, several recommendations can be submitted to the Education Office regarding the need for mentoring activities to improve teacher performance both in terms of improving the quality of learning, learning assessment, implementing the Project for Strengthening profile of Pancasila Student, and assisting in determining policy steps in making improvements to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Information System management of workshop equipment as part of the school plays an important role in handling all equipment inventory and smooth activities in the school workshop carried out by students or teachers in carrying out practices, so an effective data storage place is needed. The problem found related to the processing of inventory data for workshop equipment management at SMKN 2 Makassar is a process that is still carried out manually, so it canpotentially be difficult to detect the existence of inventory data due to changes in workshop managers With the existence of a web-based workshop equipment management information system can help teachersin processing, processing and storing equipment inventory data and providing smoothness in all activities in the school workshop.and also easy access for those who need data and information related to the use of equipment in the school workshop. The development of this system uses a 4D model with 4 main stages, namely: (1) Definie, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Dessiminate. Expert validation tests were conducted by 2 lecturers to determine the validity of the software/program aspect and obtained an average of 4.9 by meeting the valid criteria. The next test is on practical and effective aspects which was carried out involving 20 respondents and obtained an average practical aspect of 96% and an average effective aspect of 95% so that it is categorized as very practical and effective

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar siswa berbasis e-Xam Carada padamata pelajaran sistem komputer di SMK Negeri 1 Bantaeng. Instrument penilaian hasil belajar siswa berbasis e-Xam Caraka inidigunakan untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa yang sesungguhnya secara akurat dengan sistem tes komputerisasi mengantikanpenilaian konversional berbasis kertas (paperbased test). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan subjekpenelitian berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R dan D)dengan model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop dan disseminate) jenis data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif.Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah media dan penyebaran angket untuk mengetahuipandangan siswa terhadap media evaluasi e-Xam Caraka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun modul pembelajaran penilaian kelayakan struktur bangunan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar, presentase respon peserta didik terhadap modul, serta validitas modul pembelajaran pembelajaran penilaian kelayakan struktur bangunan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penyususnan modul pembelajaran dilakukan agar mempermudah peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi modul ini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar didapatkan hasil presentase yaitu 86,50% sehingga modul dinyatakan dalam kategori sangat baik.
