Abstract

This study aims to improve the argumentation skills of pre-service primary teachers through learning socio-scientific issues in the introductory science concepts course. This study is a quasi-experimental study using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control-group design. The sample in this study was 126 prospective primary school teachers selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The instruments in this study consisted of four essay-type questions. The test questions were analyzed using One-way ANOVA with SPSS 22 and the gain score test. The results showed differences in argumentation skills between the experimental class, control class 1, and control class 2. The increase in argumentation skills of prospective primary school teachers in the experimental class was higher than in control class 1 and control class 2. Learning socio-scientific issues in the introductory science concepts course can be an alternative for lecturers to develop the argumentation skills of pre-service primary teachers.

Abstract

Numerical resilience plays a role as a way of adapting teachers in various very fast rates of change in the field of numeracy. The scope of numerical resilience is endurance in studying numerical problems. This study aims to provide an overview of the numerical resilience of prospective elementary school teachers. To accommodate this goal, the article is divided into two main sections: What is the urgency of numerical resilience? What needs to be prepared in numerical resilience in elementary school teacher candidates? These two questions are translated into a study that can provide an overview of the role of numeracy resilience and what elementary school teacher candidates need to prepare.

Abstract

Analisis kebutuhan merupakan tahap awal dalam pengembangan panduan functional behavior assessment terintegrasi QR code dan Google Sheets. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dasar yang diperlukan dalam proses pengembangan panduan functional behavior assessment terintegrasi QR code dan Google Sheets dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam asesmen perilaku bermasalah siswa di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data angket dan wawancara secara mendalam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lima sekolah menengah pertama negeri inklusi di Kota Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu lima guru pembimbing khusus (GPK) dengan kriteria telah mempunyai dasar ilmu terkait functional behavior assessment. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana kebutuhan dasar materi dan media yang diperlukan oleh guru pembimbing khusus dalam pengembangan panduan functional behavior assessment terintegrasi QR code dan Google Sheets dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam asesmen perilaku bermasalah siswa. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa guru mengalami kendala dalam asesmen perilaku bermasalah siswa meliputi minimnya pelatihan FBA (100%), ketiadaan panduan baku (100%), pencatatan manual yang rawan hilang (100%), kesulitan pengarsipan data jangka panjang (60%), dan rendahnya integrasi teknologi (100%). Dari analisis kebutuhan, GPK menginginkan panduan yang memuat konsep dasar perilaku bermasalah, tahapan FBA yang lengkap, serta instrumen siap pakai untuk metode ABC dan pengukuran dimensi perilaku. Pada aspek media, mereka menghendaki panduan hybrid berbentuk cetak berukuran ringkas yang dilengkapi QR Code terhubung ke Google Sheets untuk rekap dan analisis otomatis secara real-time. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan panduan FBA terintegrasi teknologi guna meningkatkan akurasi, efisiensi, dan keterampilan asesmen perilaku di sekolah inklusi.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices while simultaneously posing challenges to the preservation of local cultural values. This study aims to develop and evaluate a digital ethnopedagogical reconstruction model that integrates local historical narratives of North Sumatra into the Merdeka Curriculum within the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model, this study utilized a mixed-methods design involving document analysis, interviews, observations, expert validation, and field trials. The findings reveal that local historical narratives—comprising folkloric legends, educational acculturation, and the heritage of local sultanates—possess strong ethnopedagogical potential when reconstructed through interactive digital media. Quantitative results demonstrate a significant 38% increase in students’ ethnopedagogical understanding, supported by high content validity (89%) and media feasibility (92%) scores. Qualitative findings further indicate enhanced cultural awareness, historical empathy, and learner engagement. The study concludes that the effectiveness of digital ethnopedagogical innovation is primarily determined by its pedagogical integration within the learner-centered framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. This research contributes a sustainable model for culturally grounded digital pedagogy in teacher education.

Abstract

Edukasi gizi memiliki peran krusial dalam memastikan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) mendapatkan menu yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi mereka. Permasalahan pemenuhan gizi bagi ABK masih menjadi salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi guru maupun orang tua. Salah satu dampaknya adalah kesehatan, pertumbuhan, dan perkembangan anak kurang optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai penyusunan menu makanan bergizi bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik implementasi penyusunan menu harian bergizi. Ceramah dan diskusi digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang dan prinsip dasar penyusunan menu, serta praktik implementasi untuk memberikan pengalaman langsung agar peserta mampu merancang variasi menu makanan bergizi sesuai kebutuhan anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun menu makanan bergizi yang sesuai dengan kondisi anak.
