Abstract

Lembah Fitness Centre UGM juga perlu melakukan pengelolaan dan menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang baik agar members dapat merasakan kepuasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan members terhadap strategi pemasaran di Lembah Fitness Centre Universitas Gajah Mada. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah members Lembah Fitness Centre UGM yang aktif mengikuti latihan beban sebanyak 240 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode nonprobability sampling menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, sebanyak 120 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner. Angket tersebut diujicobakan terhadap 40 members  Lembah Fitness Centre UGM. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan dari 48 butir pernyataan gugur 3 butir, sahih 45 butir. Teknik untuk mengukur validitas menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson dengan taraf signifikasi 5 % atau a = 0,05. Butir pernyataan dikatakan valid apabila nilai korelasi dari product moment (rxy) lebih besar dari r-tabel. Nilai koefisien alpha (rtt) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,912 dengan status reliabel. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat kepuasan members masuk ke dalam kategori memuaskan dengan pencapaian persentase 60,8 %. Secara rinci, tingkat kepuasan members terhadap strategi pemasaran di Lembah Fitness Centre UGM dijelaskan sebagai berikut: (1) Price atau harga masuk kedalam kategori sangat memuaskan dengan persentase 60 %, (2) Promotion atau promosi masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase 55 %, (3) Place atau tempat masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase 49,2 %, (4) Product atau produk/jasa masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase sebesar 55,8 %.  MEMBERS SATISFACTION LEVEL TOWARD MARKETING STRATEGY IN LEMBAH FITNESS CENTER UNIVERSITAS NEGERI GAJAH MADA AbstractFitness center companies must manage fitness club well. In process, club must be applied  marketing strategy, same as Lembah Fitness Center UGM where need to be manage and use marketing streategy so that members satisfied with their services. This study aims to know about level of satisfaction members toward marketing strategy in Lembah Fitness center Universitas Negeri Gajah Mada. Participants in this study are members of Lembah Fitness Center UGM that enganged actively in resistance training for almost 240 people. Sampling technique using nonprobability method include accidental sampling method, 120 people. Questionnaire used as instrument in this study. This questionnaire being trial into 40 members, then the result showed only 45 questions from 48 which have validity based on product moment correlation technique (Karl Pearson) with significance level a = 0,05. Validity of each question attained if its have correlation value from product moment (rxy)  more than r-tabel. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis with precentage. The results of this study indicate that the level of satisfaction members toward marketing strategy at the UGM Fitness Center resulted in satisfactory category with a percentage of 60.8%. In detail, the level of satisfaction of members of the marketing strategy at the Lembah Fitness Center UGM is through the following factors: (1) Price belong to very satisfying category with a percentage of 60%, (2) Promotion percentage reach 55 %, (3) Place percentage is 49.2%, and (4) Product achieve 55.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of sequential and crossed step shadow exercises, as well as the differences between the two on improving footwork agility badminton athlete  PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. This research is a quasi-experimental study, with a two group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study amounted to 22 male athletes. The instrument in this study used a series of foot exercises proposed by Tohar. Data analysis techniques on hypothesis testing using the t test. The results showed: first, there was an effect of sequential step shadow training on the agility of the athlete's footwork PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta with a t value of -4.5 and a calculated significance of 0.001. Second, there is an effect of cross-step shadow training on the agility of the athlete's PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta footwork with a t value of -4.667 and a calculated significance of 0.001. and third, there is no significant difference between sequential step shadow training and cross step shadow training in increasing the agility of the footwork athlete PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. This is based on data obtained from the t value of -1.353 with a significance of 0.191.

Abstract

Myalgia is pain that occurs in the muscles that can interfere with daily activities. Sports massage and meditation is an alternative to reduce the feeling. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sports massage on overcoming myalgia disorders. This study uses a quantitative quasi-experimental method with this type of design using the equivalent time series sample design. The population in this study was a total of 36 masseurs who worked in sports injury therapy massage centers on the 4th floor of UNY Plaza. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique and obtained a number of 15 samples. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, using a pretest-posttest design. Research subjects were given 3 (three) repetitions of treatment, namely the first week, the second week and the third week. The data analysis technique in this study used a t-test (paired t-test), in test I, test II and test III, the overall significance was obtained with a value of 0.000 (sig. 0.05). The conclusion in this research is sports massage with meditation can reduce myalgia disorders.Pengaruh sports massage dengan meditasi terhadap gangguan myalgiaAbstrakMyalgia merupakan nyeri yang terjadi pada otot yang dapat menganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Sports massage dan meditasi merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh sports massage dengan meditasi terhadap gangguan myalgia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen kuantitatif dengan jenis rancangan menggunakan the equivalent time series sample design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masseur sejumlah total 36 yang bekerja di tempat masase terapi cedera olahraga di Plaza UNY lantai 4. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh sejumlah 15 sampel. Subjek penelitian diberikan 3 (tiga) kali pengulangan perlakuan yaitu minggu ke- I, minggu ke-II dan minggu ke-III. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t (paired t-test). pada uji I diperoleh nilai 0,000 (sig. 0,05), uji II diperoleh nilai 0,000 (sig. 0,05) dan uji III diperoleh nilai 0,000 (sig. 0,05). Kesimpulan dalam penelitan ini adalah sports massage dengan meditasi dapat mengurangi gangguan myalgia

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the physical fitness level of new members of the Pasopati student regiment. This study uses a survey method with test and measurement techniques. The population used were members of the Pasopati student regiment as many as 81 students. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling so that a sample of 29 new members of the Pasopati student regiment was obtained. The instrument used in this study was the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test for adolescents aged 16-19 years. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative percentages. The results of the study show that the results of the research on the physical fitness of new members of the Pasopati Student regiment are known that the characteristics of physical fitness of new members of the Pasopati Student regiment can be described as (1) The physical fitness of new members of the male's Pasopati student regiment is included in the good category of 33.33%, (2 ) The level of physical fitness of new members of the female Pasopati student regiment is mostly in the good category as much as 60%, and (3) The physical fitness of all new members of the Pasopati Student regiment, both male and female, is included in the good category of 48.28%. Therefore, it is still very necessary to carry out intensive training to be able to improve physical fitness for new members of the Pasopati student regiment, especially speed, strength, and endurance exercises for the arm and shoulder muscles, and cardiorespiratory endurance because each member of the student regiment as the components of the state's defense and security reserves requires excellent physical fitness

Abstract

Performance of a football player in a competitive match is influenced by good physical condition in training, competing, or in everyday life. Comprehensive ability is the hope of all football coaches. The study was conducted to determine how the comparison of the physical condition profile of youth football players in the elite and non-elite categories at the provincial level football federation, especially in SSB in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were students or soccer athletes in elite and non-elite youth football players. The population that the researchers determined was elite and non-elite youth football players at football schools or football clubs in the DIY Province. The sampling technique was carried out by means of purposive random sampling. The instrument in this study used the MFT / Yoyo Intermitent Test, Vertical Jump Test, 30 meter Sprint Test, Illinois Test, and Sit And Reach.Based on the results of the study, it shows that the body mass index component with an average of 19.53 elite players and 19.78 non-elite players. Flexibility, elite players 34.40 and non elite players 31.14. The leg power of elite players is 45.52 and for non-elite players is 45.28. The speed component is 4.48 for elite and non-elite players, 4.95. For coordination, the elite players are 53.04 and the non-elite players are 51.20. The agility of the elite players is 18.68 and the non-elite players are 18.99. Meanwhile, the aerobic endurance for elite players was 39.85 and non-elite players were 37.97. So it can be concluded that the physical condition of soccer players which includes body mass index, flexibility, leg power, speed, coordination, agility and endurance, elite players show better results compared to non-elite players.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence aerobic exercise and weight training have on body fat and vital capacity. This study used an experimental method with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 68 female members at the Fitness Center, Faculty of Sport Science, Yogyakarta State University who participated in the weight loss program. The sample in this study was taken purposively by determining the number of members who participated in the training program with the criteria that active members were at least 2 months practicing before the treatment was carried out and women aged 18-25 years. Through these criteria, the sample obtained is as many as 54 people. Of the 54 people, they were divided randomly into three groups, namely the aerobic exercise group of 18 people, the weight training group of 18 people, and the control group of 18 people. The instrument used to measure and collect body fat data used a skinfold caliper, while the vital lung capacity was measured using a spirometer with a Vitalograph brand. The data analysis technique used the normality test, namely the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. This test is carried out to determine whether the data has a normal distribution. The homogeneity test used the Levene's Test with the F test. To test the research hypothesis, it was done using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). This test was conducted to determine the difference in the mean value of the variables between the pretest and posttest in the experimental group. The results of the research analysis showed that aerobic exercise can reduce body fat by 4.651% and increase the vital lung capacity of members at the Fitness Center by 0.2167 liters / BTPS. Weight training can reduce body fat by 2.969%. Weight training can increase the vital capacity of the lungs by 0.1583 liters / BTPS. Aerobic exercise can reduce body fat by 1.68617% higher than weight training. Aerobic exercise can increase the ability of vital lung capacity 0.05833 liters / BTPS higher than weight training. Pengaruh latihan aerobik dan latihan beban terhadap lemak tubuh dan kapasitas vital paru AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan aerobik dan latihan beban terhadap lemak tubuh dan kapasitas vital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Desain. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah member perempuan di Fitness Center Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang mengikuti program penurunan berat badan yaitu sebanyak 68 orang. Sampel pada penelitian diambil secara purposive dengan menentukan jumlah member yang mengikuti program latihan dengan kriteria yaitu member aktif minimal 2 bulan berlatih sebelum perlakuan dilaksanakan dan wanita usia 18-25 tahun. Melalui kriteria tersebut maka sampel yang diperoleh yaitu sebanyak 54 orang. Dari 54 orang tersebut dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok secara random, yaitu kelompok latihan aerobik sebanyak 18 orang, kelompok latihan beban sebanyak 18 orang, dan kelompok kontrol sebanyak 18 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur dan mengumpulkan data lemak tubuh dengan menggunakan skinfold caliper, sedangkan untuk mengukur kemampuan kapasitas vital paru menggunakan spirometer Merk Vitalograph. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas yaitu Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. Uji ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah data mempunyai sebaran yang berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene’s Test dengan uji F. Untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Analisis Variansi (ANAVA). Uji ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rerata nilai dari variabel antara pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan aerobik dapat menurunkan lemak tubuh sebesar 4,651 % dan meningkatkan kapasitas vital paru pada member di Fitness Center sebesar 0,2167 liter/BTPS. Latihan beban dapat menurunkan lemak tubuh sebesar 2,969 %. Latihan beban dapat meningkatkan kapasitas vital paru sebesar 0,1583 liter/BTPS. Latihan aerobik dapat menurunkan lemak tubuh lebih tinggi 1,68617 % dibanding latihan beban. Latihan aerobik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kapasitas vital paru lebih tinggi 0,05833 liter/BTPS dibanding latihan beban.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance and BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents. This research is an experimental research. In this study, treatment was given in the form of skipping exercise combined with body weight training for 8 weeks with a frequency of 3 times / week, an intensity of 60%-70% MHR with a duration of 30 minutes. The population in this study were teenagers. Sampling was done by purposive sampling on adolescents aged between 17-21 years and overweight. Instrument used to measure VO2 max with MFT (multistage fitness test) and measurement of height and weight to determine BMI. The data analysis technique used prerequisite test and paired t test. Based on the results of the cardiorespiratory endurance data analysis, the t-count value was 10.495 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the cardiorespiratory endurance pretest was 34.92 and the posttest average increased to 40.05. While the results of the analysis on BMI data obtained a t-count value of 15.293 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on BMI in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the BMI pretest was 26.60 and the posttest average BMI decreased to 22.19. So it can be concluded that skipping exercises combined with body weight training can increase cardiorespiratory endurance and reduce BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengamatan keterampilan bermain serta karakter sportif atlet elite dan nonelite usia 16 tahun di DIY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif.. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet sepakbola pada elite dan non-elite. Populasi yang peneliti tetapkan adalah atlet sepakbola elite dan nonelite usia 16-18 tahun pada sekolah sepakbola di wilayah Provinsi DIY. Teknik penetapan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive random sampling, sehingga diperoleh 25 atlet elite dan 25 atlet non-elite. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes unjuk kerja keterampilan bermain untuk mengetahui keterampilan bermain dan kuesioner karakter sportif untuk mengetahui karakter sportif atlet. Teknik analisis data dengan deskriptif persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan passing atlet elite sebesar 100% termasuk kategori sangat tinggi sedangkan non-elite hanya 36% yang memiliki kategori sangat tinggi. Atlet elite 100% mempunyai keterampilan receiving sangat tinggi sedangkan atlet non-elite 36% termasuk kategori sedang. Atlet elite mempunyai keterampilan dribbling sebesar 88% sangat tinggi dan pada non-elite sebagian besar berkategori sedang dan rendah yaitu 24%. Keterampilan heading atlet elite berada pada kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 36%, sedangkan atlet non-elite termasuk dalam kategori sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 76%. Pada karakter sportif kerjasama pada atlet elite dan non-elite sama-sama  termasuk kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 64% dan 96% pada kerjasama, 60% dan 84% karakter hormat, sedangkan disiplin 68% atlet elite dan 84% non-elite. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa atlet elite memiliki kemampuan keterampilan bermain lebih baik daripada atlet non-elite, sedangkan karakter sportif pada atlet elite dan non-elit memiliki karakter sportif yang sama pada kategori sangat tinggi meskipun jika dilihat dari persentasenya pada atlet non-elite menunjukkan hasil yang lebih besar. Comparison of the Playing Skills and Sportsmanship Characters of Elite and Non-Elite Football Athletes Ages 14-16 Years in DIY Abstract This study aims to observe the playing skills and sportsmanship of elite and non-elite athletes aged 16 years in Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were elite and non-elite soccer athletes. The population that the researchers determined was elite and non-elite football athletes aged 16-18 years at soccer schools in the DIY province. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive random sampling, in order to obtain 25 elite athletes and 25 non-elite athletes. The instrument in this study used a performance test of playing skills to determine playing skills and a sporty character questionnaire to determine the sportsmanship character of athletes. Data analysis technique with percentage descriptive. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the passing skills of elite athletes were 100% in the very high category, while only 36% of non-elite athletes had very high categories. 100% elite athletes have very high receiving skills while 36% non-elite athletes are in the moderate category. Elite athletes have very high dribbling skills by 88% and non-elite athletes are mostly in the medium and low category, namely 24%. The heading skill of elite athletes is in the very high category of 36%, while non-elite athletes are in the very low category, namely 76%. In terms of sportsmanship, cooperation between elite and non-elite athletes are both in the very high category with a percentage of 64% and 96% in cooperation, 60% and 84% of respectful character, while in discipline 68% of elite athletes and 84% non-elite athletes. So it can be concluded that elite athletes have better playing skills than non-elite athletes, while the sportsmanship character of elite and non-elite athletes has the same sportsmanlike character in the very high category even though when viewed from the percentage of non-elite athletes, the results show the greater one.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy for proper and effective wrist injury for the community to cure wrist injury. This research was a development research with stage: preliminary study and data collection, planning, product draft development, expert validation, product testing, revision and evaluation. The subjects of small-scale test were 5 people, subjects were large-scale test and product effectiveness test was 10 people using minimum sample size formula at FIK UNY Physical Therapy Clinic and Masase Terapi Cedera Olahraga Metode Ali Satia Graha. The instruments used to collect data were expert validation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and goniometers to measure range of movement of wrist joints. The results showed that model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy in wrist injury was valid. The results of validation of material experts and media experts were included in the high category. Product quality from small-scale tests and large-scale tests was categorized as high. The results of product effectiveness test showed a significant reduction in pain complaints, increased motion function and increased range of movement (ROM). The conclusion of this study was a model of self-healing with massage therapy and exercise therapy valid and effective for a handling wrist injury.

Abstract

This study was to find out the impact of interest and motivation of Indonesian and Malay students on implementation of management of minor post-Sports injury therapeutic massage. It was a descriptive-qualitative and descriptive quantitative mixed study with survey method. Conducted in 2021 in the Faculty of Sports Science of Yogyakarta State University. Total participans 68 students involved 50 Indonesian students and 18 Malay students. Used linkert scale instrument with modified questionnaire of interest, motivation and implementation, r-count r-table (0.235) and alpha chronbach of 0.655. The results of the study showed that: the interest of the students in the management of the injury was very low (2 students or 3%), low (21 students or 31%), high (42 students or 60%), and very high (4 students or 6%); the motivation of the students in the management of the injury was very low (3 students or 4%), low (25 students or 37%), and high (36 students or 53%), and very high (4 students or 6%); impact of the implementation of the Sports injury management by the students was very low (3 students or 4%), low (34 students or 50%), high (23 students or 34%), and very high (8 students or 12%). Concluded that the interest and the motivation was influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors that could influence learning result, while the learning result could be found out in the implementation. It was necessary to organize hard skill learning using repetitive method consistent with stimulus-response theoretical perspective.
