Abstract

Students at school need to be encouraged to continue to think creatively and be able to solve the problems they face entirely. They need encouragement from within and especially from outside, namely through the school environment or their parents, so that positive attitudes and self-confidence can grow so they can solve various challenges. This training aims to give students some skills, so they are more confident and have a highly competitive spirit. This training has three phases: the first phase of sharing and motivation to increase self-efficacy and self-esteem; the second phase of sharing competition events to increase the spirit of competition; and the third phase of a scientific paper presentation festival to foster self-confidence. This training was held as planned for self-efficacy and self-esteem training on June 17–20, 2022. The second activity was the student competition-sharing event held on July 21, 2022, and the Scientific Writing Presentation Festival was held on November 25, 2022. The dedication results showed 56.5% expressed satisfaction, while the rest were delighted. This service succeeded in increasing students' self-esteem and self-efficacy. They were also supported by the readiness of students to enter the world of higher education through the advice given

Abstract

Video merupakan bagian kehidupan yang tidak bisa dielakkan lagi pada siswa generasi new milenial. Namun, tidak semua video pembelajaran tari menarik untuk dicermati hingga akhir bagi siswa usia SMP. Untuk menjembatani gap ini, penelitian difokuskan pada pengembangan video pembelajaran tari yang baik untuk mendukung pembelajaran tari pada siswa SMP. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara melakukan observasi dan wawancara pada siswa, meminta masukan teknis pada validator, dan menguji cobakan produk pada siswa. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengkonfirmasi produk awal pada masukan validator, mengkonfirmasi produk kedua dan ketiga pada rekomendasi uji coba sample, dan mengkonfirmasi sekali lagi produk akhir pada validator. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa baik dari responden, validator, dan pengguna pada uji coba membutuhkan video yang memiliki point of interest pada introduksi di menit pertama dan penggalan highlight tarian di menit kedua. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran tari yang baik adalah video yang membangun rasa penasaran penontonnya pada 2 menit pertama.

Abstract

The Life Skills 5.0 Based Edupreuner Clinic Program in Malang Raya aims to develop young entrepreneurs in junior high schools. With a holistic approach, this program includes training, coaching by experienced entrepreneurs, life skills, and business exhibitions. The program strategy uses P4 (Preparation, Media Completion, Program Implementation, Evaluation Reporting). The advantage of this program lies in increasing partners' knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. The results show significant improvements, including knowledge, entrepreneurial ability, entrepreneurial excellence, and the number of students starting entrepreneurship. The program can collaborate with local industry and financial institutions, helping students understand market needs and financial resources. Focusing on fostering young entrepreneurs plays an important role in economic growth and creating job opportunities. Overall, this program creates an entrepreneurial culture among junior high school students, producing a generation of entrepreneurs who are innovative, resilient and have a positive impact in Greater Malang.

Abstract

In the digital age, local Indonesian performing arts face both challenges and opportunities in terms of visibility and preservation. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of trending local Indonesian performing arts videos on the TikTok platform and to understand their demographics. The study employs a quantitative content analysis method to examine the representation and popularity of local Indonesian performing arts in trending TikTok videos. A sample of TikTok videos showcasing local dance, music, and theater from various regions of Indonesia was analyzed for themes and engagement metrics. The findings reveal that (1) Generation Z is the dominant force shaping the digital stage on TikTok, (2) performing arts creators are predominantly female, (3) local dance accompanied by a blend of traditional and modern music is a key strategy for high engagement on TikTok, (4) costumes have minimal impact on video engagement, (5) standard shooting and tilting are the most commonly used video styles, and (6) popular performing arts demographics are primarily from Java (West Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta). This research underscores the role of TikTok in revitalizing and disseminating local Indonesian performing arts while highlighting the implications for cultural preservation and audience engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses regenerasi penari Jaranan anak-anak dalam kelompok Satrio Bokor (SB). Pemilihan SB sebagai subjek penelitian didasarkan pada statusnya sebagai satu-satunya grup Jaranan di Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang, yang memiliki penari anak-anak berusia 4 hingga 15 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap lima informan, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Verifikasi data dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) proses regenerasi dilakukan dengan pola internal menggunakan sistem regenerasi horizontal transmission, di mana proses pengetahuan dan keterampilan diwariskan secara sejajar antar anggota kelompok; 2) pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui pembelajaran langsung dan terbimbing. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya strategi regenerasi dalam menjaga keberlanjutan tradisi Jaranan di kalangan anak-anak di wilayah Tumpang.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan etude viola pada tingkat indria di Program Studi Musik. Masalah difokuskan pada kualitas etude dalam meningkatkan proses belajar mahasiswa musik peminatan instrumen viola. Guna mendekati masalah ini dipergunakan acuan teori pengembangan dari Reiser dan Mollanda. Metode penelitian Data-data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, penyebaran angket dan Teknik analisis data dalam proses pengembangan buku etude viola dasar deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengolah data berupa masukan, tanggapan dan saran akan dipilah dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori sesuai keterangan ahli, kesesuaian ahli, kesesuaian dengan referensi dan kelogisan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya keefektivan 90% dalam proses belajar mahasiswa dalam praktik bermain viola pada tingkat indria dengan menggunakan buku etude hasil pengembangan ini. Kata Kunci: viola; etude; pengembangan buku etude.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the strategies used in learning dance at SMAN 1 Rengel and reveal the learning difficulties that arise in implementing these strategies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collects data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the strategy used was a combination of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method and peer tutoring which was proven to be effective in developing the dancing skills of class XI E students at SMAN 1 Rengel. PjBL encourages active student engagement through real projects, while peer tutoring increases motivation, collaboration, and mastery of dance moves. However, there are learning difficulties that arise in implementing this strategy, such as differences in skill levels with recommendations to overcome them, it is recommended to implement training that focuses on small groups, lack of interest in the art of dance with recommendations to overcome them, it is recommended to implement training that focuses on small groups, limitations time with recommendations to overcome it, it is recommended that flexible training scheduling be provided, inadequate facilities with recommendations for overcoming it are recommended to maximize the use of existing facilities, as well as difficulties in understanding dance movements through YouTube video media with recommendations for overcoming it is recommended to implement training that focuses on groups small. The implication obtained is that it makes a real contribution in improving the quality of dance learning at SMAN 1 Rengel.

Abstract

Tempe Sanan, one of the well-known local products from Malang, is currently facing challenges in branding and market competitiveness despite its high quality. This is especially true in the midst of the growing trend of online-based promotions, which appear to be more effective and efficient. This community service program aims to enhance the competitiveness and brand awareness of Tempe Sanan through a song, packaged in the form of a jingle. The creation of a jingle as a promotional medium was chosen because it serves as a concise, simple, and effective alternative for promotion that can be played anytime and anywhere The jingle is designed to be catchy and appealing, combining local cultural elements with Javanese lyrics and a blend of diatonic and pentatonic musical instruments. Its creation employed a participatory approach, involving local MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) actors in developing a culturally rich jingle. The outcomes of the activity include: 1) The creation of a jingle titled "Tempe Sanan Enak Tenan" (Tempe Sanan is Really Delicious);2) Dissemination via WhatsApp and recording in MP3 format, played at Primkobti Bangkit Usaha Kampung Sanan;3) Socialization and public presentation of the jingle at the Porprov East Java exhibition. The conclusion of this community service initiative emphasizes the effectiveness of music as a branding tool for local MSMEs, which is essential for enhancing their market competitiveness.
