Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi sistem sirkulasi darah di kelas XI MAN 3 Jember Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Eksperimen Semu (quasi eksperiment). menggunakan desain Non equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA MAN 3 Jember sejumlah 194, penentuan sampel secara purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi awal dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Analisis Deskriptif dengan menghitung rata-rata, menentukan median, modus dan standart deviasi. Analisis inferensial dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan statistik non parametrik, statistic Mann Whitney. Hasil analisis data hasil pengujian hipotesis hasil belajar posttest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dapat dilihat bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) pada hasil uji Mann-Whitney Test sebesar 0,664 < 0,05 (pada signifikansi 5%), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan metode mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi sistem sirkulasi darah di kelas XI MAN 3 Jember.

Abstract

Pestisida merupakan suatu zat yang bersifat racun namun di sisi lain pestisida sangat dibutuhkan oleh petani untuk melindungi tanamannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui jenis-jenis ikan air tawar apa saja yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat dan Melihat kandungan residu pestisida yang terdapat pada ikan air tawar Desa Poly serta membuat media pembelajaran yang layak dalam bentuk poster. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, tehnik penelitia yaitu random sampling dengan pengabilan sampel secara acak. Pengambil sampel dilakukan pada tiga stasiun yaitu dusun 1, 2 dan 3. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan lima jenis ikan yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Desa Poly yaitu; Gabus (Channa striata), Lele (Clarias batrachus), Nila (Oreochromis niloticus bleeker), Kosa (Anabas testudineus) dan Sidat (Anguilla sp). Untuk melihat kandungan residu pestisida dilakukan pengamatan di Laboratorium pada tiga jenis ikan yaitu; Gabus, Nila, dan Lele. Dimana hasil pengamatan menunjukan pada Gabus spot a (0.723) dan spot b (0.345). Ikan Lele spot a (0.134), dan spot b (0.189). Serta pada ikan Nila spot a (0.412), spot b (0.456), dan spot c (0.534). Penilaian poster pembelajaran oleh validator ahli dan mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai 63% dapat disimpulkan bahwa poster tersebut layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 1 Balaesang Tanjung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Balaesang Tanjung yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi dan metode tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 1 Balaesang Tanjung, peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa hingga mencapai ketuntasan sesuai dengan standar ketuntasan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 65%. Adapun persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa pada siklus I hanya mencapai 60% sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 90%, hal ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan yang signifikan. Persentase aktivitas guru dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran ini mencapai 68,75% pada siklus I sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 96% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II mencapai 97,3% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) is an international assessment designed to measure students' literacy abilities in various disciplines, including science. This research aims to analyze the scientific literacy abilities of students at MTS Nurul Huda Situbondo in solving PISA Science questions. The research method used is data analysis from the results of the PISA Science test given to students. The data described includes test results based on problem-solving and reasoning assessment rubrics. The research results show that most students need help solving these questions, such as understanding questions well, misinterpreting images, applying scientific knowledge, and relating them to real life. The results of the analysis also show that there is significant variation in abilities among students. The results of the Kruskal Wallis-H test show a p-value <0.05, which means there is a substantial difference between the 3 dependent variables. Some students demonstrate scientific literacy in analyzing and solving PISA science questions, while others still need further assistance. The research results will provide insight into the challenges in solving PISA Science questions by students and improving science education at MTS Nurul Huda Situbondo. Understanding and overcoming these obstacles can prepare students to compete globally, especially in science.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of parental income on students' learning motivation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study consisted of 30 students in grade VII. The results showed that the majority of students came from families with low incomes, and this had an impact on students' low learning motivation. The level of parental income influenced the learning motivation of students in the subject of science (Biology) in grade VII at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi. The researcher found several students whose parents had low incomes so that it influenced the students' learning motivation, from the 30 samples that the researcher used, there were 26 students with low incomes with incomes <Rp.500,000 and those with high incomes were 4 students with incomes of Rp. 1,000,000 - Rp. 1,999,999. The average student learning motivation only reached 36%, which is included in the very low category. Internal factors (31%) and external factors (42%) both play a role in decreasing students' learning motivation. Interventions such as scholarships and support from parents and schools are needed to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi is very low.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model in improving the cooperative skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 12 Palu. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of four stages: planning, action/implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 23 students from Class IVB who participated in cooperative learning using the STAD method. Data were collected through observations over three sessions, using observation sheets to assess five aspects of collaborative skills: contribution, time management, problem-solving, working with others, and investigation techniques. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in each aspect of cooperative skills following the implementation of STAD. The average scores for contribution increased from 2.89 to 3.46, time management from 2.66 to 3.29, problem-solving from 2.38 to 3.31, working with others from 2.92 to 3.23, and investigation techniques from 2.13 to 3.23. These findings suggest that the STAD model can enhance students' cooperative skills at the elementary school level. This research also reinforces previous findings, which state that STAD is not only effective in improving academic achievement but also in developing students' social and emotional skills. Therefore, implementing STAD can serve as an effective alternative to improving the quality of learning in elementary school classrooms.
