Abstract

WLAN has been implemented widely, including in public area and government office. Badung Regency office has got benefit from the technology in applying its e- government services. However the WLAN performance in term of its QoS has not been evaluated after its installation. Then its delay, packet loss, throughput, and jitter were measured using Ekahau Heatmapper, Axence Nettols, Wi-Fi Analyzer, and Ubiquiti Unifi. The WLAN coverage area was calculated and analyzed. Generally, the performance is good. However there are areas in all 12 buildings in the offices that are needed more access points.

Abstract

Dhyana Pura University (Undhira) is one of the higher education institutions that utilize the advancement of information technology to achieve optimal results. The observation shows that bandwidth utilization is not well managed. On this basis, this study aims to analyze Quality of Service (QoS) with parameters throughput, delay, packet loss, jitter and bandwidth by Class Based Queuing (CBQ) methods as a queue method that regulates usage network bandwidth allocated to each user. This study also measured the level of employee satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The results of this study indicate that the CBQ method is a method of bandwidth management in reducing bandwidth in crisis clients, so as to increase employee satisfaction in using internet services in the process of service for students.

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic was announced by World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. World Health Organization explained that Coronavirus is a virus that can cause disease in animals and humans. The spread of the Covid-19 virus has spread to Indonesia and has spread to all provinces. The spread of COVID-19 can be modeled mathematically using the SIR model. The SIR model is divided into three compartments, namely susceptible individuals, infected individuals, and recovered individuals. SIR estimates can be checked for error rates using the MAPE method. The results of the SIR estimation in Bali Province obtained are that the Covid19 pandemic will end on August 09, 2024, the SIR model applied produces an error rate of 49%, the error rate is quite good because the MAPE value is between 20% and 50%.Key Words— COVID-19; SIR; MAPE.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi komunikasi, dikembangkan sistem D-MIMO (Distributed MIMO) yang sebelumnya telah digunakan sistem C-MIMO (Conventional co-located MIMO). Sistem C-MIMO menyebabkan penggunaan spektrummenjadi efisien, daya pancar berkurang, dan kapasitas kanal meningkat.Dengan sistem D-MIMO jarak antara pemancar dan penerima dapat diperpendek, macrodiversity dan adanya daerah cakupan layanan. Pada tulisan ini akan diteliti tentang kapasitas kanal dan Bit Error Rate (BER) pada variasi spasial daerah cakupan. Penelitian tersebut dilakukan pada kapasitas kanal teoritis dan BER dengan teknik waterfilling.Kapasitas kanal dan kinerja BER pada sistem D-MIMO pada variasi spasial daerah cakupan tergantung dari konfigurasi sistem D-MIMO. Lokasi penerima yang dekat port antena pemancar mempunyai kapasitas kanal yanglebih besar tetapi memiliki kinerja BER yang lebih buruk.

Abstract

Every year, Udayana University publishes the Non-Tax State Revenue Target (TPNBP) as a guide for allocating budgetary funds for the T+2 year. The provision of budget allocations for the T+2 year will depend on how accurately the TPNBP is calculated, which will boost efficiency in carrying out budget planning. Due to the limits of the PNBP realization data at Udayana University and the benefits of the ANFIS approach for forecasting stationary data types, it is required to evaluate the merits of the Gray-Markov and ANFIS methods in order to determine which method is more effective. The study's findings reveal that the Grey-Markov approach yields a value of 0.118% while the ANFIS method yields a value of 4.978%. This suggests that while both methods produce extremely precise results, the Grey-Markov method is more accurate than the ANFIS method due to its smaller MAPE value. The MAPE value for the Grey-Markov approach for the SPI acceptance variable is 0.319%, whereas the MAPE value for the ANFIS method is 23.39%, indicating that the Grey-Markov method is more accurate at predicting SPI acceptance. Abstract

Cellular communication system with multiple network operators operate on a co-located area (heterogeneus network) causing effect of radio frequency interference. RTWP (received total wideband power) value emerges as indicator radio frequency interference on UMTS system, which is primary contribution of degraded QoS cellular communication system. RF filter butterworth circuit two half section resulted as optimal design to reach the goal compare to the other circuit section. By implemented RF filter has showed improvement indicator perform RTWP on UMTS network operator. DOI: 10.24843/MITE.1501.11

Abstract

The recording of State Property at Udayana University on SIMAK-BMN has been carried out well, but the recorded State Property data only supports the preparation of balance sheets, lists of goods, reports of goods and control cards. The amount of data that is increasing every year has not been utilized optimally. The large amount of data at Udayana University and the superiority of K-Means in data grouping makes it possible to group data at the preprocessing stage using K-Means, then forming decision tree rules using C5.0 which is a refinement of the ID3 and C4.5 algorithms. The variables used in the formation of the decision tree are conditions, useful life and warranty period. The results of the study show that the decision tree rules that are formed are first checking the useful life, secondly checking good and other than good conditions, thirdly checking damaged conditions, namely lightly damaged and heavily damaged, and fourthly checking the warranty period. The recommendations generated by the decision support system are 2,894 preserved items, 1,397 deleted items, 112 maintained items with guarantees and 18 maintained items without warranty, out of a total of 4,421 items. The accuracy obtained is 97.69% calculated using the confusion matrix. Keywords : State property; K-Means; C5.0

Abstract

The current rapid development of technology can facilitate all human activities, so that all aspects cannot be separated from technology, including the financial sector. With the development of technology, it is also accompanied by the introduction of various investment instruments. Every time you make an investment, of course there will always be various risks that come with it, including investing in cryptocurrencies, one of which is bitcoin. Unlike conventional currencies, bitcoin is not decentralized so that its price development is not under the supervision or control of any party, where as conventional money there is a certain institution that oversees and controls its movements. This causes the price of the exchange rate of bitcoin to be inconsistent or unstable. With the prediction method, bitcoin users can determine the right time to carry out transactions. This study aims to predict bitcoin prices using the LSTM and Bi-LSTM methods. Based on the research results, the best prediction results were obtained using the Bi-LSTM method with an RMSE of 1482.73 whereas with LSTM it produces an RMSE of 1768.69 so that it can be concluded from an accuracy perspective that Bi-LSTM gives more accurate results but with Bi-LSTM it requires more resources.

Abstract

One way to increase service coverage of telecom operators such as PT. Smartfren is by adding or building new Base Transceiver Stations (BTS). To determine where to place the new BTS, there are several criteria and sub criteria that must be considered. Incorrect choice of criteria and sub criteria or lack of data can cause the new BTS to be built in a less precise location thus the service coverage will not be optimal. Based on that consideration, a decision-making system application to determine BTS location is created using Fuzzy AHP method with VB and MySQL applications. The outcome of this application is a list of area, in several regencies, from the highest to the lowest score of BTS location based on the selected criteria and sub-criteria. It helps the user in knowing the most appropriate location for the placement of PT. Smartfren’s new BTS. [TURNITIN 19%, 22022017]

Abstract

The Internet has become something important in the communication development. One communication facilities on the Internet is the Internet relay chat or known as chat. Chat applications in real time is often misused for the purpose of spreading the virus, promotions, and other interests known as spam. Spamming is the sending of unwanted messages by someone who has a chat account. This causes the chat account feel uncomfortable with the condition. Based on these problems this research create a chat application that can filter messages or spam filtering by applying text mining. Spam filtering process can be done in two phases: text pre-processing and analyzing. These two phases are carried out to calculate the weight (W) of connectedness with the word spam messages. Based on the results of tests performed on chat applications by applying text mining to perform filtering on spam messages generate the level of accuracy of 91.41%.
