Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangkan dan kelayakan media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual berbasis website pada materi suhu dan kalor kelas X TKJ SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) dengan metode 4D namun hanya sampai pada tahap 3D. Proses pengembangan terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian atau define, perancangan atau design, dan pengembangan atau develop. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual berbasis website ini dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan dengan kriteria  87,5%. Persentase tersebut merupakan rata-rata dari aspek format = 85,41% dengan kriteria sangat layak; aspek ilustrasi = 86,1% dengan kriteria sangat layak; aspek bahasa = 85,41% dengan kriteria sangat layak; dan aspek isi = 91,67% dengan kriteria  sangat layak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual berbasis website pada materi suhu dan kalor memenuhi kriteria dengan kualitas sangat layak sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan peserta didik kelas X SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. Kata kunci: Pengembangan, laboratorium virtual, website, suhu dan kalor ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to described development and appropriateness of virtual laboratory learning method based on website on temperature and heat theory class X TKJ SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. This research was research and developing ( R & D ) with 4D method has been modified to 3D. Development process consist of definiton phase or define, design phase or design,  and development or develope. Validation result indicated this virtual laboratory learning method based on website categorized very appropriate to use with criteria 87,5 %. That percentage was average from format aspect = 85,41% with criteria very appropriate; illustration aspect = 86,1% with criteria very appropriate; language aspect = 85,41% with criteria very appropriate; and content aspect = 91,67% with criteria very appropriate. Therefore can be concluded that virtual laboratory learning method based on website on temperature and heat theory fulfilled the criteria with very appropriate qualityas one of the learning method used by student class X TKJ SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. Keyword: Development, virtual laboratories, websites, temperature and heat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran planetarium gerhana untuk pembelajaran IPBA. Mengetahui hasil uji coba media pembelajaran planetarium gerhana pada pembelajaran IPBA. Mengetahui respon dari para responden terhadap media pembelajaran planetarium gerhana yang telah dikembangkan secara teoritis pada pembelajaran IPBA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development, subjek penelitian ini adalah guru fisika SMA Pelita Kasih. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metodologi 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). Penilaian dan validasi produk media pembelajaran planetarium gerhana  ini telah dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data kemudian diinterprestasikan dengan skala 5 menurut Sukarja, dihasilkan kriteria penilaian media sangat baik dengan analisis penilaian media menurut ahli materi menunjukkan kualitas sangat baik dengan persentase keidealan 85,4% dan layak untuk digunakan. Penilaian media menurut ahli media menunjukkan kualitas Baik dengan persentase keidealan 77,3% terkait dengan segala aspek yang ada pada media yang telah dikembangkan dan layak untuk digunakan dengan sedikit koreksi untuk perbaikan media tersebut. Sehingga media tersebut dapat menunjang ketertarikan pelajar dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Media Pembelajaran, Planetarium Gerhana.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity, student learning outcomes and problem-solving skills on the concept of light performed in four cycles. Subjects in this study were all students of class VIII.E which amounted to 21 people. The instruments used are observation sheets for teacher and student activities, affective learning, psychomotor and cognitive test sheets and problem solving skills. The result of the research shows that student learning activity in cycle I with average score of 31,5 categories is enough, cycle II is 34 good category, cycle III is 38 good category and IV cycle is 40 good category. The result of cognitive learning obtained by average of cycle I is 53,3 less category, cycle II equal to 65,71 category enough, cycle III equal to 80 category good and cycle IV equal to 90,48 good category. Psychomotor learning results obtained in the first cycle of 8.64 categories enough, cycle II for 10 categories both, cycle III of 10.48 good category and IV cycle equal 11.04 good category, and affective learning results obtained cycle I of 12.19 Category enough, cycle II 13,74 category enough, cycle III equal to 14,83 good category, cycle IV equal to 16,17 in good category. As well as the results of problem-solving abilities. In cycle I the problem solving ability of students with percentage of 56% less category, increase in cycle II problem solving ability of student with percentage of 72% category enough, then increase in cycle III with percentage of 76% good and in cycle IV increase again with percentage 79% good. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning model can boost the activity and student learning outcomes and problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aims to to determine the influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of learning outcomes and skills of science process, and to describe students' interest in class VIII at SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. This type of research includes Quasi Experiment.The sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique that is class VIII.5 as experiment class and class VIII.4 as control class.. Based on the result of data analysis using T-test of two independent samples indicate that there is significant influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of the students' learning result because tcount> ttable (8,16> 2,00), science process skill students tcount> ttable (5,9> 2,0), and students' average learning interest of 35.8 in interest categories and student learning interest for very high, high, low and very low categories of 6.06%, 69, 67%, 18.18%, and 6.06%. So it is concluded that there is an influence of using discovery learning model with LKS based on discovery of learning outcomes, science process skills, and student learning interest.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in four cycles that aims to improve the ability of creative thinking, activities, and students’ learning outcomes on work and energy concepts. The subjectwas33 students of grade X. Data obtained from the test and observation sheets were analysed in the descriptive method. CAR was conducted in four stages, that, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Instruments used in the research were the creative thinking testand the achievementtest, observation sheet of teacher and activities and student. The results showed that the result of the creative thinking test obtained the average score of 64.38  in cycle I, increased to 71,36 in cycle II, increased to 74,45 in cycle III, and increased to 76.34 in cycle IV. Student learning activity on cycle I was with average score 22, increased to 31 in cycle II, increased to 36 in cycle III, and increase to 37 in cycle IV. Students' learning outcomes in the first cycle becaming of 74.19%, increased in cycle II of 83.87%, increased in cycle III of 90.32%, and increased in the cycle IV of 100% (thorough). Based on the results of research that the implementation of guided inquiry on work and energy concepts can improve the creative thinking, students’ activities, and learning outcomes. Keywords: guided inquiry, creative thinking skill, learning activities, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Robotika dalam aspek kehidupan manusia dewasa ini sangatlah penting. Tidak terkecuali pada bidang milter. Saat ini banyak negara berlomba-lomba menunjukkan kemuktahiran robot ciptaannya dalam bidang militer. Indonesia merupakan negara dengan prajurit tempur yang cukup disegani di tingkat Asia, sebut saja Kopasus (Komando Pasukan Khusus). Satuan prajurit Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) ini sangat handal di dalam pertahanan darat Indonesia. Namun hal ini tidak cukup, saat ini banyak negara-negara melibatkan robot sebagai sarana bantu para prajuritnya. Hal ini lah yang mendorong peneliti untuk ikut mengambil peran dalam membantu para prajurit Indonesia nantinya dalam hal surveillance atau pengamatan dengan bantuan sebuah robot. Peneliti merancang dan mebuat sebuah prototype atau purwarupa robot mainland surveillance yang akan digunakan pada prajurit tentara darat. Tahap awal perancangan mekanisme gerak robot merupakan menjadi titik konsern peneliti. Dengan menggunakan roda platform mecanum wheel, robot mainland surveillance diharapkan memeliki navigasi yang memungkinkan dapat bergerak kesegalah arah.

Abstract

Batik besurek merupakan warisan budaya khas Bengkulu yang dalam praktiknya pewarnaannya masih banyak menggunakan zat pewarna sintetis, yang berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi tumbuhan lokal sebagai pewarna alami dalam pembuatan batik besurek, serta mengevaluasi kualitas dan ketahanan warnanya berdasarkan standar SNI ISO-105. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan eksploratif untuk mengidentifikasi tumbuhan lokal berpigmen alami, serta pendekatan eksperimental untuk menguji ketahanan warna hasil pewarnaan terhadap pencucian (ISO 105-C06), penjemuran (ISO 105-B02), dan gesekan (ISO 105-X12). Ekstraksi dilakukan menggunakan teknik maserasi dan boiling treatment, serta diaplikasikan pada kain mori menggunakan 3 jenis mordan yaitu tawas, tunjung, dan kapur sirih. Empat tanaman yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, Archidendron pauciflorum, Bougainvillea sp., dan Curcuma longa yang dikenal mengandung pigmen alami. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Curcuma longa memiliki ketahanan warna tertinggi, dengan kategori “tidak pudar” untuk semua parameter ISO-105. Sebaliknya, Bougainvillea sp. menunjukkan ketahanan warna terendah, hanya mencapai skor 1-4 pada beberapa uji. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pewarna alami berbasis tumbuhan lokal memiliki potensi besar sebagai alternatif ramah lingkungan dalam pembuatan batik besurek. Pendekatan ini mendukung pelestarian lingkungan, pemanfaatan biodiversitas lokal, serta dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kontekstual di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ environmental literacy by developing MEDIPIA, an interactive science learning media based on Virtual Reality (VR). The focus of the research is on water pollution at Teluk Sepang Beach, a coastal area affected by thermal waste discharge from the Teluk Sepang Power Plant. The study follows the 4D development model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages, integrating both media development and environmental analysis. A field trial involving 30 seventh-grade students from SMPN 52 Bengkulu Utara was conducted using a one-group pretest-posttest design to assess changes in students’ environmental literacy. At the same time, seawater quality was analyzed at seven observation points using five parameters: temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity, based on standards from the Ministry of Environment Decree No. 51 of 2004. The findings indicate ecological disturbance near the wastewater discharge outlet, characterized by temperatures above 30°C, decreased pH at two points, salinity levels below 33‰, turbidity exceeding 5 NTU at four points, and dissolved oxygen above 5 mg/L. Expert validation rated MEDIPIA as highly suitable for educational use, with an average score of 91.79%. Statistically, student environmental literacy increased significantly after using MEDIPIA, with an N-gain score of 0.7 and a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). These results suggest that VR-based interactive media can bridge scientific environmental data and student learning, contributing to the development of context-based science education that addresses local environmental issues

Abstract

This study aims to develop an ethnoscience-based guidebook by integrating lemea fermentation as a local context in biotechnology learning to improve junior high school students' science process skills. The development model used is ADDIE with a quasi-experimental design of non-equivalent control groups. The research subjects consisted of 48 ninth-grade students from SMPN 02 Lebong, divided into experimental and control groups. Research instruments included observation, expert validation, pretest, posttest, and questionnaires. Validation results indicated product feasibility of 92% (very feasible category). Effectiveness testing using an independent t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with an average N-Gain of 0.43 (moderate) in the experimental group and 0.17 (low) in the control group. The effect of media use on science process skills was moderate. Student and teacher responses to the media were very positive, particularly in terms of appearance, content, and usefulness. These results indicate that the integration of local culture into science is effective in developing students' scientific skills in a contextual manner.

Abstract

Background: Fruit juice is highly needed nowadays due to its effectiveness as a source rich in antioxidants.Research Objective: This study aims to reduce glucose levels caused by the administration of HgCl₂, which is neurotoxic and cytotoxic, capable of damaging pancreatic β-cells that produce insulin. Etlingera hemisphaerica was utilized as a potential solution because it contains compounds such as terpenoids, flavonoids, phenols, and polyphenols that can lower glucose levels by maintaining the normal function of pancreatic β-cells. Method: This study applied a true experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving measurements taken before and after treatment. The subjects were divided into three test groups K1, K2, and K3 each consisting of three Mus musculus , with a total of nine mice. Results: The administration of Etlingera hemisphaerica Fruit Fresh Drink (MSBE) did not show a significant effect in reducing blood glucose levels in Mus musculus  induced with HgCl₂. Conclusion: The secondary metabolites contained in E. hemisphaerica  have not yet been able to repair or maintain blood glucose levels under conditions of damage caused by HgCl₂ exposure.
