Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) To find out the analysis of amed salt farming in Purwa Kerthi Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province in 2020 (2) To find out the marketing system of amed salt Bali area in Purwa Kerthi Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province in 2020. This research was conducted from March to July 2021. The data collection technique used the snowball sampling method with primary and secondary data. The sample used in the study consisted of 29 respondents. The data analysis method in this research is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the 2020 research in one season show that the total income of Amed Salt farming is Rp 748,182,000 with an average farmer income of Rp 31,174,250, the R/C ratio is 4 which means that the farm is profitable and the profitability of 3.09% indicates that it deserves to be developed. The marketing institutions involved in marketing the Bali area are the MPIG Garam Amed Cooperative (a producer as well as a wholesaler) and retailers. There are two marketing channels that are efficient, channel I produces a farmer's share of 100%, marketing margin and marketing agency of 0. Channel II produces a farmer's share of 61%, marketing margin and marketing agency Rp 22,125 and 39%. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that the Purwa Kerthi Village will pay more attention to the existence of Amed Salt and expand its marketing reach to national and international levels.

Abstract

Subak Jatiluwih merupakan salah satu subak yang berada pada kawasan Catur Angga Batukaru sebagai penerima predikat Warisan Budaya Dunia oleh UNESCO pada tahun 2012. Adanya perkembangan pariwisata setelah penetapan predikat tersebut menyebabkan perubahan pada kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Jatiluwih terkhusus rumah tangga petani di Subak Jatiluwih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi rumah tangga petani Subak Jatiluwih setelah ditetapkan sebagai Warisan Budaya Dunia. Penelitian ini menekankan pada karakteristik petani, kondisi ekonomi dan dampak sosial yang diberikan dari penetapan Subak Jatiluwih sebagai Warisan Budaya Dunia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total pendapatan petani di Subak Jatiluwih sebesar Rp. 70.423.547,2/tahun dengan rata-rata per bulan sebesar Rp. 5.868.629 (golongan pendapatan tinggi), yang bersumber dari tiga sektor yakni sektor usahatani (on farm), sektor off farm, dan sektor non usahatani (non farm). Sedangkan dampak sosial bagi petani di Subak Jatiluwih, berdasarkan kesembilan indikator diketahui bahwa pada pemeliharaan pura subak, ritual keagamaan, gotong royong dan distribusi air tidak mengalami gangguan. Terjadi perubahan pada jumlah iuran keagamaan, adanya pergeseran teknologi pertanian, munculnya mata pencaharian baru, munculnya beberapa konflik dan sulitnya regenerasi petani. Subak Jatiluwih bersama intansi terkait perlu membenahi beberapa aturan dan kebijakan untuk mengatasi konflik yang terjadi.

Abstract

This paper deals with financial performance of Koptan include leadership,participation budget, organizational culture and total quality management (TQM). Theresearch objective is to determine the effect of non financial factors on financial performanceKoptan. The study was conducted in Bali, with a focus on Koptan business by consideringthat the business activity is the driving force in the agribusiness sector of the economy. Thedevelopment of this sector will boost the economy of the community so as to create Koptansustainability. Samples are 11 Koptan, with the number of respondents of 97 people. Dataanalysis technique used PLS. The results of this study indicate that, leadership, participation,budget and organizational culture positive and significant impact on TQM Koptan, withthe R-square of 0.63. The effect of leadership, participation, budget and organizationalculture positive and significant impact on the financial performance of Koptan, where asTQM positive and significant impact on the financial performance. It can be concluded that,firstly; leadership, participation budgets, organizational culture and total quality management(TQM) positive and significant impact on the financial performance. Secondly, leadership,participation budgets and organizational culture positive and significant impact on totalquality management (TQM) of Koptan in the region.

Abstract

Land conversion in urban areas causes various kinds of problems. One of them is agriculture. This thing requires innovation and contribution of the millennial generation to develop urban agriculture (Urban Farming), especially hydroponics. There is one of the businesses engaged in the hydroponic sector in Denpasar Bali namely Gumineponik. This business engaged in agriculture especially hydroponics and culinary. It is located in East Denpasar, Denpasar City, Bali Province. The background of this business was established because of the large number of land conversions that occurred in Denpasar City, especially in East Denpasar District that resulted in reduced agricultural land. This business is a solution in the midst of the problem of land conversion by utilizing narrow land to be more productive with hydroponic cultivation. Gumineponik is a business that has an upstream to downstream concept starting from the vegetables production process, hydroponic equipment, and post-harvest processing. It introduces the millennial generation about modern agriculture that does not require large land so that it can be efficient and effective in terms of productivity of agricultural products. Utilizing social media through online marketing such as Instagram, Facebook, and Whatsapp are used to make this business reaches wider market effectively. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used to describe the system, concept and output of Gumineponik based on technical, economic and social aspects. Quantitative analysis is used to measure financial feasibility on the economic aspect through approaches (profit and loss statements, balance sheets, financial projections for 3 years and Net B/C Ratio). The results of the financial analysis of Gumineponik are a healthy business with an average profit value of Rp. 6,811,667 in a month during 2020, with an average profit margin of 28% and a Net B/C Ratio of 1.33. These results indicate that Gumineponik has healthy finances and relatively growing.

Abstract

BUM Desa merupakan badan usaha yang dikelola oleh desa sebagai strategi pembangunan perekonomian desa dan memberdayakan masyarakat. Dengan begitu besarnya harapan pada BUM Desa maka pengelolaannya harus berjalan dengan baik. Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur terdiri dari sepuluh desa dan seluruhnya telah mendirikan BUM Desa. Namun, tingkat penggunaan jasa dan unit usaha yang ada tidak seluruhnya dapat berjalan sesuai harapan. Penelitian in bertujuan : 1) mengidentifikasi karakteristik, 2) menganalisis manajemen,, 3) menganalisis tantangan dan hambatan BUM Desa di Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Informan ditentukan dengan metode sensus, data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) BUM Desa di Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur sebagian besar telah menjalankan usahanya selama 3-5 tahun. Dari seluruh unit usaha yang ada, 90% merupakan jenis BUM Desa Brokering dan dikategorikan dalam BUM Desa rintisan, 2) Dalam proses pendirian hingga pengelolaannya, BUM Desa di Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur telah menerapkan fungsi manajemen POAC (perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, pengawasan), 3) Tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh BUM Desa di Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur yaitu pada aspek manajemen adalah fungsi pengawasan, aspek SDM, aspek modal, aspek perubahan perilaku pasar, dan aspek lingkungan sosial.

Abstract

Dibandingkan subak, literatur/kajian subakabian masih jarang dipertimbangkan dalam pembangunan. Padahal, subakabian mengambil peran penting terhadap pengembangan salah satu komoditas unggulan di Bali, yakni Kopi Arabika Kintamani yang telah meraih sertifikasi indikasi geografis sejak tahun 2008. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan kinerja subakabian di tiga kabupaten anggota MPIG Kopi Arabika Kintamani, serta membandingkan karakteristik dan kinerja subakabian antara tiga kabupaten tersebut. Karakteristik dan kinerja subakabian diidentifikasi berdasarkan teori Mackay, lalu dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui pendekatan RRA dan kalkulasi economic impact analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan subakabian di lokasi penelitian memiliki karakteristik saling mengikat dengan desa adat; memiliki hak otonomi; adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi; krama subakabaian terikat oleh kesatuan profesi, geografis, dan historis; berasaskan falsafah tri hita karana; berlandaskan prinsip kebersamaan dan gotong royong; kepemimpinan dan pengambilan keputusan bersifat demokratis; organisasi pertanian yang bersifat neoklasik dengan formalisasi rendah; dan norma hukum bermakna sosial dominan di subakabian yaitu hukum adat. Kinerja subakabian telah efektif dalam rangka mencapai tujuannya dan efisien menggunakan sumber daya sehingga mampu meberikan dampak ekonomi secara lokal. Perbedaan subakabian anggota MPIG Kopi Arabika Kintamani antara Kabupaten Bangli; Kabupaten Buleleng; dan Kabupaten Badung hanya menyangkut soal dukungan pemerintah daerah dan teknis pelaksanaan sosial budaya.

Abstract

The Impact of Land Functions on the Existence of Subak Kedungu, Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency Subak is very thick in community life in Bali. Subak is closely related to Tri Hita Karana, which is a guideline for the community in religious social activities carried out by the indigenous community in Bali.The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of land use change and the causes of land use change on the existence of Subak Kedungu in terms of social, economic and technical aspects.The location of this research was conducted in Subak Kedungu, Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency from November 2020 to January 2021.The selection of the research location was carried out by using the perposive method using key informants.The determination of informants in this study involved all elements related to the Kedungu Subak, such as members of the subak, subak landowners, subak members who sold land, tenants, tenants, subak institutions, and village institutions.The results showed the causes of land conversion that occurred in Subak Kedungu, among others, an increase in the number of family members, an increase in community needs, and a decrease in the interest of young people in Pererenan Village to replace their parents as farmers.Meanwhile, the impact of land conversion that occurs is that the social aspects do not have an impact on the community, the economic aspect of income from farming does not experience a reduction, and the technical aspects are not too affected because basically the members of Subak Kedungu only plant rice.

Abstract

Farmers’ Behavior Toward the Implementation of Tri Hita Karana in Preserving Subak in Tourism Regions (The Case of Subak Andong, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency) The rapid globalization and growth of tourism have had an impact on the existence of subaks in Bali. Land use change is one of the challenges to preserve subak as a communal organization of Balinese farmers. This study aims to determine the behavior of farmers towards the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in an effort to preserve subaks in tourism areas, especially Subak Andong, which is located in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency. The scope of this research covers the behavior of Subak Andong members, including knowledge, attitude, and application of Tri Hita Karana in an effort to preserve Subak. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Based on the research results, it is known that the behavior of the farmers of Subak Andong is very good. The behavioral scores on all categories, i.e., knowledge (86.3%), attitude (85.9%), application (87.1%), are high. The behavior of Subak Andong farmers towards Tri Hita Karana shows a very good result, so that efforts to preserve Subak Andong can go hand in hand with the development of tourism in the area. It is hoped that the behavior of members in Subak Andong will be maintained.

Abstract

Bali merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang sangat terkenal sebagai destinasi  pariwisata dunia. Salah satu daerah yang berkaitan erat dengan pariwisata Bali dan sebagian besar masyarakatnya bekerja pada sektor tersebut adalah Desa Adat Legian. Curahan waktu kerja rata-rata penduduk Desa Adat Legian pun sangat padat namun pandemi covid-19 membawa dampak pada seluruh kegiatan sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis karakteristik pekerjaan penduduk sebelum dan sesudah pandemi, 2) Menganalisis curahan waktu kerja penduduk Desa Adat Legian sebelum dan sesudah pandemi, 3) Mengindentifikasi sumber-sumber pendapatan penduduk Desa Adat Legian pada saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Informan data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan dan curahan waktu kerja penduduk adat di Desa Adat Legian mengalami perubahan, dimana sebelum covid-19 karakteristik pekerjaan dan jenis pekerjaan penduduk desa adat lebih banyak pada sektor pariwisata dan pada saat covid-19 berubah lebih banyak yang melakukan usaha sendiri seperti berjualan. Untuk curahan waktu kerja penduduk desa adat mengalami perubahan pada kepala keluarga dan istri sedangkan pada anak rata-rata masih tetap sama. Sedangkan untuk sumber pendapatan penduduk adat di Desa Adat Legian rata-rata tertinggi masih di dapat dari tabungan yang dikumpulkan pada saat sebelum covid-19.

Abstract

Usahatani kopi arabika di Desa Catur ialah salah satu mata pencaharian penting penduduk setempat. Misi dari riset ini guna mengetahui seberapa besar pendapatan serta  bagaimana kelayakan usahatani masing-masing subak di Desa Catur, Kecamatan Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli. Metode analisa informasi yang dipakai yakni deskriptif kuantitatif, tanpa membuat pertimbangan, ataupun mengaitkan dengan variabel yang lain. Terdapat 2 kategori data yang digabungkan, ialah data primer serta sekunder. Cara pengumpulan data yang dipakai yakni studi pustaka dan wawancara. Kemudian dari data-data yang didapatkan dimasukkan kedalam perhitungan sesuai dengan parameter dan indikator yang ada untuk mendapatkan variabel yang dicari. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, tingkat pendapatan petani kopi di Subak Tri Guna Karya, Wanasari Kenjung, dan Tri Karya Nadi selama proses produksi sebesar Rp22.569.926,00, Rp20.130.000,00, dan Rp14.969.412,00. Total penerimaannya sebesar Rp36.944.444,00, Rp29.475.000,00, dan Rp22.764.710,00. Sedangkan total biayanya sebesar Rp13.981.481,00, Rp9.345.000,00, dan Rp7.795.294,00. Berdasarkan R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, dan BEP, ketiga subak tersebut menunjukkan nilai 1 yang artinya usahatani kopi di Desa Catur, Kecamatan Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli bermanfaat serta layak untuk diusahakan. Dari hasil analisis yang didapat, disarankan petani kopi perlu lebih memperhatikan biaya produksinya, agar pendapatan petani tidak turun, serta petani pun diharapkan mengetahui keterampilan dan teknologi budidaya kopi yang tepat guna mencapai produksi yang lebih tinggi.
