Abstract

Efficiency Analysis of The Use Of Red Chili Production Factors in Red Chili Farming at Besakih Village, Rendang, Karangasem The research was conducted in Besakih Village, Rendang Sub-District, Karangasem Regency which is one of red chili farming centers in Karangasem Regency. The problem is that production tends to decline over the past five years. This study aims to analyze the effect of production factors and the level of efficiency of the use of red chili production factors on the red chili production in Besakih Village. The method used to analyze the factors of production was the Cobb-Douglas production function. Data were obtained from 62 respondents by census method. Efficiency was calculated by analyzing the ratio of marginal production prices to factor prices. The results showed that production factors that affect the amount of production include land, seed, manure, NPK, leaf fertilizer, calcium fertilizer, pesticides, and labor. Simultaneously, the influence of production factor was 93,90% to the amount of red chili production, while partially, factors that affect the production of red chili were seed, manure, NPK and pesticide. The production factor that has been efficient in its use was NPK fertilizer. Factors of seed production and manure have not been efficient, so their use needs to be added. Leaf fertilizer production factors, calcium fertilizers, pesticides, and labor usage were inefficient, so the use needs to be reduced.

Abstract

Subcontracting Patterns Luwak Coffee Satria Agrowisatain Manukaya Village, Tampak Siring District,Gianyar RegencyGianyar Regency is a tourist area, so a lot of tourists who visit. The number oftravelers and tourists who visit both foreign and locally caused the opening ofbusiness opportunities that can be cultivated. Agrowisata Luwak coffee is one ofthe many businesses that are developing in the Manukaya Village, Tampak SiringDistrict, Gianyar Regency. Luwak coffee is the most expensive coffee at the currentprice, which is why many businesses are choosing to develop this business. Thehigh market demand for coffee, causing a partnership between activists civet with acoffee company to meet the market demand. This study is to determine thefollowing matters : (1) The partnership pattern that occurs between SatriaAgrowisata with activists civet; (2) The rights and obligations Satria Agrowisatawith activists civet; (3) The efficiency of the partnership between for either; (4) Theobstacles faced by the partnership. The results showed that; (1) The Partnershipadopted by Satria Agrowisata with activists civet is a partnership Subcontract; (2)The rights and obligations of both parties must be adhered to in accordance with theagreement that has been agreed; (3) The partnership between Satria Agrowisatawith activists civet is already efficient; (4) Constraints faced Satria Agrowisata inthis partnership is the quality of the coffee produced by activists civet poorly andfraud by breeders civet, while the constraints faced by activists civet is late paymentby Satria Agrowisata and delays in raw material prices.

Abstract

The Effect of Work Motivation and Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Songgolangit Persada Bali Province Performance is the result of quality and quantity of work achieved by an employee. Factors that affect performance include motivation and work discipline. Employees with high work motivation and good work discipline will show optimal employee performance. The purposes of this study include (1) to determine the level of motivation and work discipline of PT. Songgolangit Persada Bali Province employees, (2) to find out the influence of motivation and discipline on employee performance at PT. Songgolangit Persada Bali Province. The population in this study are 68 employees of PT. Songgolangit Persada Bali Province. This study uses saturated sampling method (census) so all 68 employees were included as respondents. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is modeled into SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model using tools such as smartPLS.3.0 software. The results of the study show a total achievement score of 82,35% for motivation level and 83,82% for discipline. This shows that the respondents’ understanding of motivation and work discipline is in the very high category. Work motivation variables have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Songgolangit Persada. The higher the work motivation, the higher the employee's performance in achieving production targets, and vice versa. Work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance at PT. Songgolangit Persada. The higher the work discipline, the higher the employee's performance in meeting the deadline in carrying out tasks, and vice versa. To improve the employee motivation, it is recommended that the human resource team increases the amount of financial assistance particularly for employees in times of hardship. In terms of discipline, it is recommended to adjust rest hours based on physical abilities of employees.

Abstract

The Level of Democratic Leadership in the Management of Subak Lodtunduh in District of Ubud, Gianyar Regency. Democracy in subak management leadership is very important to achieve the main objectives of subak, democratic values will lead to the participation of members of the subak itself. Through democracy, subak members will participate in the sustainability of subak, and the goals of the subak organization itself will be sustainable. Democratic leadership is active, dynamic and directed leadership that allows each member to actively participate. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of democracy that has been carried out in the management leadership of Subak Lodtunduh, in District of Ubud, Gianyar Regency. This study combined qualitative and quantitative research. The variable of this study is to measure democratic values of leadership in the management of SubakLodtunduh. The variables, indicators, parameters and measurements of this study are to measure the level of democratic leadership in the management of Subak Lodtunduh 1) Accept criticism and suggestions from members 2) Prioritizing deliberation for consensus 3) Not acting arbitrarily on members 4) Activities carried out in a transparent and sustainable manner 5) Subak members are willing to participate. The results showed that the level of democratic leadership in managing Subak Lodtunduh is categorized very good, with an average score of 94.12%. It can be concluded that the variable level of democratic leadership in subak through the indicator of democracy run by the leader (Pekaseh) has a very good category. This means that the level of democratic leadership run by Pekaseh in the management of Subak Lodtunduh has been very good so that the sustainability of Subak Lodtunduh can be maintained and if there is a change of personnel in the subak management, democratic leadership needs to be maintained.

Abstract

The Role of the Kalimajari Foundation in Assisting Sustainable Cocoa Certification in Melaya Sub-District of Jembrana Regency Assistance is a strategy that will determine the success of a community empowerment program. Assistance as a strategy commonly used by governments and non-profit organizations in an effort to improve the quality of human resources. This research was conducted with the aim to find out about the role of assistance and the level of satisfaction of sustainable cocoa certification assistance in the study area. NGO involvement in community work generally rests on three visions, namely answering humanitarian guidance, carrying out community development efforts towards creating self-help conditions and directing the stages of community development towards the stages of community empowerment. This research was conducted in Melaya Sub-District with a sample of 41 respondents. Samples were obtained from Subak Abian who participated in Sustainable Cocoa Certification. The data analysis method used was a Likert Scale analysis using class intervals 1 to 5. The results showed that the Kalimajari Foundation played a significant role in assisting Sustainable Cocoa Certification in Melaya Sub-District. Assistance activities in the form of representative activities are included in the category of significant roles, assistance activities in the form of facilitation and education activities are classified as quite contributing categories, while assistance in technical activities is classified as less contributing categories. It can be concluded that the Participants of Sustainable Cocoa Certification feel quite satisfied with the assistance provided by the Kalimajari Foundation. Based on the results of the study, the level of satisfaction in the role of representatives classified in the category of satisfaction, the level of satisfaction of the role of facilitation and education is classified in the category of quite satisfied, while the level of satisfaction of the technical role is classified in the category of unsatisfied.

Abstract

Abstract Analysis of raw material inventory control  cocoa beans Delicacao Bali factory in  the district Tabanan   Raw material availability is very important for the production process, therefore Delicacao Bali factory should be able to determine the amount of optimal raw material inventory. Reduce the cost of inventory in order to keep the production process running smoothly. In this case the company needs to analyze the inventory management to be able to minimize the total cost incurred in the  inventory. This study aims to (1) analyze raw material inventory control conducted by Delicacao Bali, (2) analyze alternative raw material inventory control to be applied,the Bali Delicacao to improve the efficiency of the inventory costs. The method used in the study included (1) Qualitative descriptive method and (2) Quantitative Method. The results of analysis the inventory cost, methods MRP of company policy shows that inventory control policy Delicacao Bali cocoa beans is not optimal. The comparison total inventory costs incurred by the company in 2013 amounted to Rp 19,998,452.00, when using the technique of LFL company can issue a total inventory cost of Rp 8,600,000.00, and cost savings (efficiency) reached 54.93 %. While the techniques EOQ company can issue a total cost of Rp 4,109,355.18 and cost savings (efficiency) reached 79.45 %. MRP techniques EOQ is an alternative method that can be recommended to the company as an inventory control techniques in the hopes this method can save the cost of raw material.  Keywords : Inventory cost, MRP, Delicacao Bali

Abstract

Online Marketing Strategies of Frozen Fruit in Tokopedia (A Case Study of Freshjus Jakarta) The marketing of frozen fruit in traditional and modern markets is still very rare in Indonesia. This study aims to identify internal and external factors, namely the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities for the development of the marketing business of frozen fruit of Freshjus in Tokopedia. In addition, it aims to formulate general and alternative strategies, and appropriate development programs to be applied to the marketing business of frozen fruit products of Freshjus at Tokopedia. This research is a descriptive, qualitative and quantitative research. General strategies for online marketing of Freshjus frozen fruit products in Tokopedia which are produced based on the IE matrix are in the first position, namely intensive strategies (market penetration, market development and product development). Meanwhile, SWOT analysis found 12 alternative strategies including (1) Structuring an electronic storage system that is updated all the time, (2) Adjusting margins and making prices more competitive, (3) Promotions in Tokopedia, (4) Increasing sales, (5) Offering bonuses to customers, (6) Utilizing increasingly sophisticated technology, (7) Participating in certain events, (8) Making direct sales with customers, (9) Advertising in other media.

Abstract

Rice Quality Supervision On Regional Division BULOG Public Company BaliThe purpose of this study to determine the performance of the quality controlconducted by Perum Bulog Division Bali and quality control analysis usingstatistical quality control approach that maps the control and quality cost. Researchmethods using primary data from some respondents that the head of production,head of marketing and head of the administration. Secondary data were obtainedfrom research journals, internet, papers and books. Quality inspection on thecontent of the rice is to pour the rice from the sample. In the storage phase is alsotaken care by performing the spraying and fumigation. Based on the control chart isshown that the data obtained are not entirely within the control limits that have beenestablished that there are a few months out of the upper control limit covering Julyand August. Quality control using the cost of the quality of the company is stillloose, because the real quality cost incurred is Quality Control Cost Rp4.478.218.605, Quality Assurance Cost Rp 39.484.680.000, and Total Quality CostRp 43.962.898.605 with the extent of damage of 4.492 tons, larger than theoptimum quality cost Quality Assurance Cost is Rp 13.304.337.284, QualityAssurance Cost Rp 13.290.480.000, and Total Quality Cost Rp 26.594.817.284with the level of damage by 1.512 tons.

Abstract

Ground Vanilla and Extract Vanilla Sales Forecasting Analysis on Tripper Nature Company, Bali Sales forecasting analysis should be done by businesses to increase and maintain a particular sales objective. Tripper Nature applies made to order system instead of using sales forecasting method to determine the sales target. The study aims to: (1) identify the product profiles of PT. Tripper Nature, (2) analyze sales data pattern for ground vanilla and extract vanilla (3) determine the best quantitative sales forecast method (4) and make an estimation sales forecast for ground vanilla and extract vanilla. This study uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Data are analyzed using trend analysis, simple moving average, single exponential smoothing, double exponential smoothing, double exponential smoothing, decomposition additive, decomposition multiplicative, and ARIMA (Auto Regressive Moving Average). Data analysis is concluded by looking at the minimum rate from MSE (Mean Square Error), which means the best quantitative method. Based on the result, the product profiles of PT. Tripper Nature could be classified into five products, namely whole dried vanilla, vanilla cuts, ground vanilla, extract vanilla, and vanilla paste. Vanilla powder and vanilla extract show a seasonal data pattern which means that agricultural raw materials are not available all year round. The best quantitative method for vanilla powder is the simple moving average method with an MSE of 14,832. 878. The best quantitative method for vanilla extract is the additive decomposition method with an MSE of 2,305,189. The forecast estimate for the 24 periods of vanilla powder was 176,049.6 pounds and for the vanilla extract was 42,928.34 gallons. It is hoped that PT. Tripper Nature would consider using the forecasting methods to increase sales in the future.

Abstract

Analysis of Red Chili Trading System in Besakih Village, Rendang Sub-Districtof Karangasem Regency Besakih village as one of the centers of red chilli production in Karangasem Regencyhas several marketing channels with different prices between producers andconsumers. This study aims to investigate the channels of trading, commercialinstitutions, and the red chili trading system in the Village of Besakih. The data usedwere quantitative and qualitative data. The analysis used descriptive qualitative.Respondents in the study were 38 farmers determined by proportional randomsampling method and 23 respondents of trading institutions determined by snowballsampling method. The research result was six channels of trading system, (1)Farmers – Local Assembly Trader’s - Retailers - Consumers; (2) Farmers - LocalAssembly Trader’s - Retailers - Consumers; (3) Farmers – Sub Terminal ofAgribusiness - Retailers - Consumers; (4) Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness -Retailers - Consumers; (5) Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness - Consumers; (6)Farmers - Sub Terminal of Agribusiness – Market in Lombok. The most efficienttrading channel was channel II. The trading agency consists of local assemblytrader’s / inter-city / inter-district traders, Sub Terminal of Agribusiness / inter-city /inter-district / inter island traders, traditional market retailers and supermarketretailers. Each of the trading system institution involved the three main functions ofexchange, physical function and facility function. However, the activities undertakenby each institution were different.
