The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative and Spearman Rank Correlation Analysis. The results showed that the correlation between social capital and the participation of the Pala Werdhi Farmer Group in the development of Cau Chocolates Agrotourism as a whole was moderate but only significant at three stages. Social capital is significantly correlated with participation in the planning stage, implementation stage, and enjoying the results stage, but not significantly correlated at the evaluation stage. Suggestions that can be conveyed in this study are that further research is needed on the factors driving participation to increase the participation of members of the Pala Werdhi farmer group and there needs to be more assistance and training to the Pala Werdhi farmer group, especially in cocoa cultivation, in order to increase the quantity or quality of the cocoa.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hampered agro-ecotourism's economic, social, and environmental benefits. Previous studies have ignored visitor experiences, sustainability, and secondary data. A pandemic-era field assessment of Kintamani agro-ecotourism fills this gap. Purposive sampling was used to select 100 local visitors for the survey. Perceptual class intervals and WarpPLS 7.0 were used to analyze the data. Kintamani agro-ecotourism destination services and guest loyalty scored the highest. Attributes and service quality affected visitor satisfaction and loyalty, whereas the CHSE program measures did not. These findings include improving attributes and service quality, encouraging sustainability, collaborating with local communities and stakeholders, and developing innovative products and services for Kintamani agro ecotourism. Diverse market segments may be immersed in a region's culture and nature. Kintamani agro-ecotourism requires strong branding, marketing, and data-driven decision-making. Crisis management plans and sustainable infrastructure can help agro-ecotourism to survive unexpected disasters. Agro-ecotourism in Kintamani depends on the adaptation, innovation, and preservation of a region's natural and cultural legacy.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of agritourism in conserving Subak Jatiluwih as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bali, based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. This study seeks to investigate how agritourism operates as a device for the conservation of traditional agricultural landscapes when threatened by modernisation and tourism. The study employed an ethnographic case study involving fieldwork, interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Fieldwork was conducted from June to November 2024, using purposive sampling to gather insights from 20 informants, including Subak leaders, farmers, tourism actors, community representatives, government officials, and visitors, providing a comprehensive, multilevel understanding of Subak Jatiluwih. This study identified four critical means by which agritourism promotes conservation: institutional strengthening, ritual conservation, experiential engagement, and the equitable distribution of benefits. Agritourism ensures the continuity of traditional farming and contributes to the dissemination of spiritual-ecological values and the involvement of the youth and the population of the communities concerned. However, there have also been criticisms of issues ranging from unequal benefits to cultural commodification. This evidence-based study demonstrates that adaptive and inclusive governance are essential for achieving fair outcomes. The framework provides transferable lessons on how agritourism can mediate economic, ecological, and cultural interests in heritage landscapes and offers a template for other rural contexts in Southeast Asia and elsewhere.

Abstract

Implementation of the Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) program at the Melasti Beach Ungasan Bali tourist destination is intended to boost visitor trust. This study examined visitor views of the implementation of CHSE at Melasti Beach and the consequent effects on destination image, trust, satisfaction, and loyalty. SEMPLS assessed data gathered through the surveying of 100 respondents. CHSE is well-implemented, and visitors trust the destination. Visitors are incredibly satisfied and loyal to the site. CHSE improves visitor trust and satisfaction but does not affect a destination's image. Image influences visitor trust but not satisfaction. Visitors' loyalty is unaffected by visitors' trust. Visitor loyalty is highly influenced by visitor satisfaction. The data reveals that the CHSE program is still vital during the COVID-19 pandemic because it boosts tourist trust and satisfaction.
