Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine interaction effect between the different concentration of BAP hormone (Benzylaminopurine) and Kinetin hormone on the shoot induction of Jati (Tectona grandis L.) with in vitro method. This research used a completely randomized factorial design with 4x3 factorial pattern. The first factor was the concentration of BAP (B0 = 0 ppm; B1 = 1 ppm; B2 = 2 ppm dan B3 = 3 ppm). The second factor was concentration of Kinetin (K0 = 0 ppm; K2 = 0,75 ppm; dan K3 = 1,5 ppm). The parameters observed were time of callus appearance, callus length, time of shoot emergance, number of shoots, length of shoots, time of leaf development, number of leaves, percentage of growth, and percentage of contamination. The parameters obtained were analysed descriptively because the percentage of total growth was under 50%. The result showed that the concentration 1 ppm BAP and 0,75 ppm kinetin was better for stimulating the appearance of callus, shoots, leaves, and number of shoots. Callus diameter was better at concentration of BAP 3 ppm. The callus texture that was formed was included in the compact texture. The percentage of explants life was 33,30 – 66,60%. No contamination occurred in all explant samples.

Abstract

This research aimed to assess the effect of several types of growing media and AB Mix substitution with organic nutrition on Kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) growth. The study used a factorial 3 x 4 completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications. The first factor is the treatment of growing media which consists of Rockwool, Charcoal husk, and Cocopeat. The second is the AB Mix Substitution with organic nutrition consisting of AB Mix substitution with 0% organic nutrition, AB Mix Substitution with 25% organic nutrition, AB Mix Substitution with 50% organic nutrition, and AB Mix Substitution with 100% organic nutrition. Growth parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, root length, canopy wet weight, root wet weight, canopy dry weight, root dry weight, and chlorophyll. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and continued by DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at 5% level. The results showed that the planting media treatment increased growth in the plant height, number of leaves, root length, canopy wet weight, root wet weight, and canopy dry weight. The treatment of AB Mix substitution with 25% organic nutrition is equivalent to the treatment with 0% organic nutrition for all parameters except chlorophyll. The AB Mix substitution treatment with 50% organic nutrition is not equivalent to the treatment without substitution. The higher substitution treatment will affect growth.

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool used to prevent or minimize the occurrence of work accidents. Compliance with the use of PPE must be carried out by every worker who will enter the work area. This research was conducted at PT. Syngenta Seed Indonesia with the aim of knowing the description of worker compliance in the use of personal protective equipment at PT. Syngenta Seed Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive type of research. Data collection in this study was obtained by means of observation and questionnaire surveys. The sample of this research is all permanent workers in the production division as many as 24 workers. The variables studied were trust, accept, act, and worker compliance in the use of PPE.The purpose of this study is to determine the level of employee confidence in using PPE. The results of the study indicate that the trust aspect of the workers is mostly in the good category. While the aspects of receiving (accept) and aspects of doing (act) workers are mostly in the less category. From the aspect of believing (belief) as many as 18 (47%) workers are obedient, aspects of accepting (accept) as many as 11 (29%) workers are obedient, and aspects of doing (act) as many as 9 (24%) workers are obedient in the use of PPE so that the value of compliance is obtained. workers by 38 (100%). The conclusion of this study is that workers who have a good level of confidence in the use of PPE do not necessarily manifest in attitudes and actions because it can be caused by several factors, one of which is the convenience of using PPE.

Abstract

The background of this research is the dismissal and appointment of Village Apparatuses after the election of the village head in Pesawaran District. The dismissal and Appointment of village apparatuses that occurred in Pesawawan District included those who followed the rules and some who were not based on the rules. The "smooth" elite circulation managed by the elected Village Head is of course very interesting to analyze and become an academic discussion which according to the author feels it is also important to be photographed and discussed dialectically, if one sees the potential that should have occurred in the context of dismissal of village officials. Rationality of Decisions/Judgments with a Decision-Making Theory approach (Dietrich, 2010) The pattern of formal and material dismissal and appointment of village officials is in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations as mandated in Law No. 6 of 2014, PP No. 43 of 2014, Permendagri No. 85 of 2015 and the District Regulation. Offer No. 8 of 2016, From the analysis of existing data, the following research conclusions were obtained: Efforts made by the Village Head in appointing and dismissing village officials: From the alternative decisions taken by the Head of Margorejo Village and the Head of Gayau Village, with the Social Action approach as a tool measuring the rationality of actions, the results obtained are: a) Margorejo Village has 3 (three) rational actions and 1 (one) irrational action in making decisions on the appointment and dismissal of village officials in its territory; b) Gayau Village has 4 (four) rational actions in making decisions on the appointment and dismissal of village officials in its territory. It can be said that the decision making for the appointment and dismissal of village officials carried out by the Head of Margorejo Village and Gayau Village was a rational action.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of E-KTP services at the Public Service Mall (MPP) in Serang City by referring to the effectiveness indicators according to Ridwan and Sudrajat (2009), including service procedures, completion time, costs, facilities and infrastructure, employee competence, and service products. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of E-KTP services at the MPP in Serang City has not been running optimally. There are several obstacles, such as the absence of a special SOP for MPP services, long waiting times even though documents are complete, the unavailability of biometric recording facilities, and the attitude of employees who are not polite. However, there are aspects that already reflect the principle of effectiveness, including: free service, the availability of adequate supporting facilities, and E-KTP service products that have met community expectations. In addition, supporting factors such as the existence of a legal basis for coordination between agencies, active community participation, and relatively good public facilities also strengthen the service. The main inhibiting factors include lack of socialization, limited electronic recording and queuing facilities, and lack of coaching for employee attitudes. The Serang City Government has made several improvement efforts such as procuring biometric recording devices, HR training, and developing an electronic queuing system to improve the quality of population administration services as a whole.
