Abstract

This qualitative study examines the potential of the creative economy in Sukarara Village, Indonesia, by empowering Songket woven fabric craftsmen in tourism. The research question is to explore how empowering Songket craftsmen in tourism can revive the industry and promote the creative economy in Sukarara Village. The study was conducted in Sukarara Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, and data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants included Songket woven fabric craftsmen, traditional institution members, and local community members involved in tourism activities. The data collection techniques used were semi-structured interviews, open-ended interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The study's findings reveal that tourism activities based on the creative economy in Sukarara Village include weaving Songket fabrics, studying motifs and production, traditional customs, marketing, and management. The community involvement in empowering the craftsmen includes developing traditional institutions, arts, cadet's corals, and weaving patents. The study highlights the practical implications of empowering Songket craftsmen in tourism, such as boosting the local economy and promoting cultural heritage. In conclusion, this study provides insights into how the creative economy can be harnessed through tourism to revive traditional crafts and promote community development

Abstract

This study aims to find the potential and participation of the community in developing the Gunung Tunak Nature Tourism Park destination. This type of research includes qualitative research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings in this study indicate that the potential of Gunung Tunak Natural Tourism Park is in the form of potential natural resources in the form of diversity of flora and fauna as well as support for marine tourism objects in the forest circumference of Mount Tunak. The existing potential as a grant is in the form of hotels, restaurants, meeting rooms, camping areas, various types of captivity and management personnel who have received direct training by the Korean government through internships in ecotourism in South Korea. Increasing domestic and foreign tourist visits through Mertak Village as a tourist village, holding events at the Gunung Tunak Natural Tourism Park destination and the role of the community in maintaining and developing flora and fauna at Gunung Tunak Natural Park.

Abstract

This study explores the role of tourism community service programs in promoting sustainable tourism practices in Lombok Island, Indonesia. A qualitative research approach was used to collect data from key informants, including tourism practitioners, policymakers, and community members involved in tourism community service programs. The results of the study indicate that tourism community service programs can play an important role in promoting sustainable tourism practices by empowering local communities, enhancing environmental protection, promoting cultural preservation, and supporting economic development. However, effective implementation requires stakeholder participation, adequate resources and funding, and awareness and understanding of sustainable tourism practices. The study highlights the need for greater stakeholder participation and education in tourism community service programs and the importance of adequate resources and funding for their implementation and sustainability. This study has important implications for promoting sustainable tourism practices in Lombok Island, Indonesia, and similar destinations, and suggests that further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of tourism community service programs and to identify best practices for their implementation and sustainability

Abstract

The Community Service Activities (PKM) on the Socialization of CHSE Implementation in Loang Baloq Park have two primary objectives: increasing manager awareness of health protocols during the Eid holiday and maintaining cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental preservation in the park. Through lecture and discussion methods, the PKM project successfully enhances understanding of health protocols among managers and raises their awareness of the importance of these measures in Loang Baloq Park. Moreover, the project aims to protect the health of managers and tourists, instill confidence in visitors, sustain the park's integrity, and create a clean and safe environment for all.

Abstract

The success of the most popular motorcycle racing event in the world that is WSBK and MotoGP wich held at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, made Lombok visited by a lot of motorcycle communities who did touring, not only touring activities that were often caried out by the motorcycle community were sunmori. Sunmori has become a very popular in the last couple year, one of the most popular sunmori location in Lombok is Bukit Nipah. The purpose of this research is to find out influence of sunmori of the development special interest tours in Bukit Nipah. The population in this research is a biker community who carry out sunmori activities in Bukit Nipah. The sampling technique used is Insidental Sampling and data collection technique by observation, interview, documentation and using a questionnare to 30 respondents. The data was analyzed using simple linear regression, determinant coefficient test (r2), and t test. The research result indicate that sunmori has a positive effect on the development of special interest tours in Bukit Nipah with a percentage of 69,5%, while 30,5% is influenced by other variabels that has not been researched on this paper.

Abstract

The purpose of Community Service (PKM) is to foster student awareness, promote peaceful conflict resolution, impart mediation skills, enhance problem-solving abilities, and instill ethical values associated with mediation. PKM is conducted through interactive socialization sessions that incorporate lectures and question-and-answer formats. The desired outcome of PKM activities is to equip students with knowledge and proficiency in mediation, thereby empowering them to contribute positively to their communities. Through PKM, students gain an understanding of what mediation entails, discover the presence of mediation institutions within each Regency/City in Lombok, grasp the importance of the mediator code of ethics, and familiarize themselves with mediation regulations. By providing new knowledge and skills, Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Mataram aims to convey the message that issues or conflicts faced by tourism villages can be effectively resolved through mediation, obviating the need for legal recourse.

Abstract

Banyaknya jenis wisata di desa wisata Kebon Ayu mengakibatkan ramainya pengunjung baik lokal maupun mancanegara. Selain pengaruh positif tentunya ada pengaruh negative atau kerugian yang timbul akibat pengembangan desa wisata. Pengaruh negative antara lain polusi udara, pencemaran air, serta permasalahan sampah. Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengelolaan hygiene dan sanitasi secara keseluruhan di desa wisata Kebon Ayu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengelola dan pedagang di desa wisata Kebon Ayu. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret – Juli 2023. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan cara purposive sampling yaitu memilih sampel dengan kriteria inklusi yang sudah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tempat berjualan makanan, penyimpanan dan penyajian makanan, sanitasi kawasan wisata, hygiene pedagang makanan, kualitas air minum, dan cemaran industry di lingkungan wisata. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Abstract

Desa wisata Buwun Sejati terletak di kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Peningkatan jumlah usaha kuliner yang signifikan merupakan salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan dari banyaknya pengunjung di desa wisata Buwun Sejati. Akan tetapi, perilaku dan kebiasaan pedagang yang kurang memperhatikan aspek personal hygiene menjadi salah satu problematika yang perlu mendapat perhatian. Rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, social, dan ekonomi para pedagang mengakibatkan terbatasnya tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku yang mendasari personal hygiene. Jika hal ini tidak segera diantisipasi maka menimbulkan resiko keamanan makanan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan usaha mensosialisasikan dan memberikan pengetahuan terkait dengan hygiene dan sanitasi pada para pedagang kuliner di desa Buwun Sejati. Tujuan dari adanya kegiatan PKM ini adalah mengadakan kegiatan sosialisasi hygiene dan sanitasi bagi pedagang kuliner agar pengolahan dan penyajian makanan dapat terjaga kualitasnya. Target luaran yang akan dicapai dalam PKM ini adalah publikasi di jurnal nasional terakreditasi sinta dan peningkatan skill mitra dalam mengolah dan menyajikan makanan yang higienis. Adapun tahapan rencana kegiatan yang diusulkan adalah sebagai berikut: Pertama, persiapan (menganalisis situasi melalui observasi awal). Kedua, bertemu (silaturahmi) dengan pengelola desa wisata Buwun Sejati. Ketiga, sosialisasi hygiene dan sanitasi bagi pedagang kuliner. Keempat, diskusi kendala dan mencari solusi bersama. Kelima, evaluasi untuk mengukur keberhasilan program yang telah dilakukan.
