Abstract

Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Kelas VII dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Open-Ended Pada Sub Pokok Bahasan Persegi Panjang dan Persegi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan tingkat berpikir kreatif dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended. Tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa ditentukan dari komponen kreativitas yang mampu dipenuhi siswa, yaitu kefasihan (fluency), keluwesan (fleksibility), dan kebaruan (originality). Pengklasifikasian tingkatannya ada 5 yakni, Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif 0 (TBK 0), Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif 1 (TBK 1), Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif 2 (TBK 2), Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif 3 (TBK 3) dan Tingkat Berpikir Kreatif 4 (TBK 4). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah paket tes soal open-ended. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VII C SMPN 7 Jember. Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa TBK 1, TBK 2, TBK 3 dan TBK 4 masing-masing menunjukkan indikator berpikir kreatif yang dikaitkan dengan karakteristik berpikir kreatif seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Munandar, yaitu kefasihan, keluwesan, dan kebaruan. Terkecuali siswa dengan TBK 0 tidak menunjukkan ketiga indikator berpikir kreatif tersebut. Kata Kunci: tingkat berpikir kreatif, soal open-ended, persegi panjang dan persegi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa kelas IX A MTs Negeri 1 Jember, dalam menyelesaikan soal kubus dan balok. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan koneksi matematika dan pedoman wawancara. Dari 26 siswa kelas IX A terdapat 7 orang siswa yang memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematika tinggi, 18 orang siswa memiliki kemampuan koneksi sedang, dan seorang siswa memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematika rendah. Sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini maka diambil 5 orang siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Dari 5 orang subjek tersebut 2 siswa memilki kemampuan koneksi matematika tinggi, 2 siswa memilki kemampuan koneksi matematika sedang, dan seorang siswa memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematika rendah. siswa yang berkemampuan koneksi matematika tinggi mempunyai konkesi sangat baik dengan memenuhi 3 indikator kemampuan koneksi matematika. siswa yang berkemampuan koneksi matematika sedang memenuhi 2 indikator kemampuan koneksi matematika. siswa yang berkemampuan koneksi matematika rendah tidak memenuhi 3 indikator kemampuan koneksi matematika. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kritis siswa climber, camper, dan quitter di kelas VII F MTs al-Qodiri 1 Jember dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pokok bahasan segitiga dan segi empat sesuai dengan indikator proses berpikir kritis yang telah disusun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket Adversity Response Profile (ARP), soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pedoman wawancara. Penentuan subyek dilakukan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Subyek penelitian adalah enam orang siswa yang mewakili setiap kategori Adversity Quotient. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek 1 dan 2 (siswa climber) melalui semua indikator berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan setiap tes yang diberikan sehingga diperoleh solusi pemecahan yang tepat. Subyek 3, 4, dan 5 (Siswa camper) hanya mampu melalui tahap klarifikasi dan Assessment dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diberikan, sehingga solusi pemecahan masalah yang diberikan kurang tepat. Sedangkan subyek 6 (Siswa quitter), hanya mampu memenuhi tahap klarifikasi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diberikan Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, tahapan berpikir kritis Jacob dan Sam, adversity quotient

Abstract

Abstract. Edge coloring -dynamic of a graph is a map , where , such that no two adjacent edges receive the same colors. An edge -dynamic -coloring is a proper -colouring of such that for each edge in , where is the neighborhood of and are the degree of while for a edge subset . The edge -dynamic chromatic number written as , is the minimum such that has an edge -dynamic -coloring. In this research develop edge coloring -dynamic on special graph, specially on graph, lobster graph, butterfly graph, diamond graph, friendship graph and star graph. The result from this research is a theorem that indicated minimum color for a graph G in topic “edge coloring -dynamic” and how the link between edge coloring with Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Abstract

Abstract. The goals of this research were: (1) to describe the application of cooperative learning type CIRC; (2) to analyze the students’ activities; (3) to analyze the students’ achievement achievement at 7 A Islamic Junior High School Jember. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research. The research methodology of this study used Hopkins scheme model which is spiral shaped. Data collection method of this research used observation, documentation, interview, and test. The data analysis used: (1) the percentage of students learning activities; (2) the percentage of achievement. This research was done through two cycles and there was two meeting in every cycle. The percentage classically of achievement in first cycle was 26,67 %. The percentage of students achievement at second cycle was 86,67 %. Abstract

This development research produces online interactive learning media using GeoGebra-assisted linear programming Easyclass. The purpose of this study is to describe the process and results of developing interactive online learning media using GeoGebra-assisted Easyclass linear program material. Research using the 4-D Thiagarajan model. The study was conducted at MAN 2 Jember, followed by 24 students of class XI IPA 4. The results showed a correlation value of 0.917 so that the media was declared valid with a very high category. Practicality was analyzed based on a student response questionnaire showing a percentage of 99% so that it was declared practical with excellent criteria. The effectiveness was analyzed based on the test scores of student learning outcomes after using instructional media obtained a percentage of 88% of the number of students who scored more than 75 which were categorized very well. Based on the results of data analysis, online interactive learning media using Easyclass-assisted GeoGebra linear program material meets the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness so that the media can be used in carrying out learning activities. Abstract

Abstract. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton dalam menganalisis model penularan virus Rabies. Model matematika sistem penularan virus Rabies direpresentasikan dalam bentuk persamaan diferensial biasa (PDB) non linear orde satu sehingga sulit diselesaikan dengan metode analitik. Metode numerik Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena sudah terbukti merupakan metode yang lebih teliti dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sulit diselesaikan secara analitik. Sebagai perbandingan, digunakan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan untuk menganalisis tingkat keakuratan dan keefektivannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas memiliki nilai error yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan. Hal ini menunjukkan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas lebih efektif dalam menganalisis model dinamika penularan virus Rabies. Abstract

Abstract. This research is aimed to describe the creative thinking process of kinesthetic students in solving Mathematics problems based on Wallas Stage. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection method used in this research is questionnaire, test, and interview. The research participants were 8 student's kinesthetic learning style on the X grade of Tissue Culture Cultivation Department of SMK Negeri 5 Jember. Based on Wallas Stage, creative thinking is classified into 4 stages, preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. The result of the research shows that kinesthetic learning style of student's creative thinking process is different, the student passed creative thinking stage as proposed by Wallas. Student of kinesthetic learning style shows the same behavior in passing preparation stage, they are able to dig up the beginning information in the task, in illumination stage students gain the inspiration to solve, in incubation stage there were 5 students who distract the attention by trying to write in blur paper and 3 students distract the attention by pausing for a moment and doing nothing, in verification stage there are 7 students that shows the same behavior which is rechecking problem solving to the reality and one student did not pass the verification stage. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to explore ethnomatematics on Bayat pottery, production of Bayat Pottery and produce student teaching materials in the form of test packages. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic approaches. The methods of data collection used are observation and interview. 3 people were chosen as research subjects. The ethnomatematics include counting activities, numerical activities, and measuring activities. This study focused on determining the amount of base material for making mixtures or lempung, determining the size of the pottery, determining the ratio of the diameter of the base and lid, determining the shape. Mathematical concepts that emerge are the concept of direct proportion, number sequence, similarity, congruence, and space. Keywords: ethnomatematics, bayat pottery, teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstract. The result of this development research is a product development of learning media, quality tested through valid criteria, practical and effective. The production of learning media in this development research used software adobe flash cs3 professional and also could be presented by accessing a website named mediabelajar.hol.es on sine rules material, cosine rules, and the area of the triangle if two sides and one angle was known. This research was done with 10 stages adapted from Alessi and Trollip development model, that was (1) determining the needs and objectives of media development, (2) collecting references, (3) deepening material, (4) preliminary design, (5) designing and manufacturing flow charts, (6) designing and making media structure, (7) making Story Board media, (8) making a media by using Adobe flash CS3 Profesional, (9) make the supporting material that is website, as a place to put media that has been developed in order to be widely used, (10) evaluating and revising media. This activity of developing a learning media produced a learning media that fulfilled criteria such as valid, practical and effective. Valid was indicated from the validation stage. Validator gave final score of material validation was 87,5% and final score of media validation was 91,07%, because of that this media could be said valid media. Besides that, this media also had a practical value was 2.97 which can be included as quite practical category, and it had effectiveness value was 72.4% which was included as effective category.
