Abstract

Research has been conducted to determine the distribution pattern of rubber waste in the sub-surface by application of geoelectric methods. The reading showed that the resistivitydistribution were zero (at z = 0) before registration of rubber waste. The minimum value ofresistivity were of 13.1 ohm.m, while the maximum of 112 ohm.m. Distribution pattern of rubberwaste in the subsurface revealed that the minimum value of resistivity were of 20.8 ohm.m, whilemaximum of 122 ohm.m. The resistivity distribution before rubber waste application was of at z= 33 cm that accounts for the minimum value of resistivity 31.5 ohm.m, while maximum 124ohm.m. Distribution pattern of the waste in the subsurface come up with minimum and maximumof resistivity distribution of at z = 33 cm the were 7.11 ohm.m,and 96.6 ohm.m, respectively.

Abstract

Has conducted research on “Variation Of Mass Effect and Analysis Of The Efficiency Biomass Accacia Timber Waste In Processing Cassavas Opak Using Biomass Stove” using the experimental method. The biomass stoves is using biomass energy from accacia timber waste as an energy source or fuel with a variety of mass 1200 grams, 1000 grams, and 800 grams. The observations were carried out for 60 minutes with intervals of 10 minutes each observation. The research results show that at mass 1000 grams obtained value temperature highest of 4630C. The average rate of heat energy is missing from the third variation mass 800 grams, 1000 grams, and 1200 grams receive is 514.439 Joule/s, and the average rate of energy heat elapsed of 29176.323 Joule/s with the water levels were lost during steaming of 6.046 %, and the average a mass of type the end of 60.287 kg/m3. The efficiency obtained with the values respectively of 99.542 %, 99.270 %, and 99.316 %.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang prediksi kedalaman dan analisa potensi air bawah tanah di Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode beda hingga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk prediksi kedalaman dan menganalisa potensi air bawah tanah tahun 2018 sampai dengan tahun 2025 di Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan program komputer aplikasi MATLAB R2015a. Hasil pengolahan data dimasukkan ke dalam program komputer, sehingga dapat dibuat model garfik kontur dan grafik mesh yang menggambar pola sebaran kedalaman air bawah tanah berdasar model permukaan Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru. Air bawah tanah diprediksi pada kedalaman 16 meter sampai 32 meter untuk tahun 2018 sampai dengan tahun 2025. Hasil prediksi kedalaman air bawah tanah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu Resepan (R), pengambilan air oleh penduduk (Ed), pengambilan air oleh industri (Ei), pengambilan air oleh fasilitas umum (Ef), pengambilan air oleh pelayanan jasa (Ep) dan pengambilan air oleh peternakan (Et).

Abstract

Penelitian tentang sistem informasi dan pengelolaan air bawah tanah di Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode simulasi MATLAB. Data kedalaman air bawah tanah di ambil dari Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa sistem informasi pengelolaan air bawah tanah dengan integrasi faktor lingkungan tahun 2017 dan 2018 di Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan program komputer aplikasi MATLAB GUI. Data yang didapatkan diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil pengelolaan data dimasukan kedalam program komputer menggunakan GUI MATLAB yang telah dibuat dan berhasil memvisualisasikan dalam bentuk grafik. Program tersebut terdiri dari program menu dan program utama dengan fitur display Grapihical User Interface (GUI). Grafik yang dihasilkan ditampilkan kedalam grafik 3-D. Hasil penelitian kedalaman air bawah tanah pada tahun 2017 dan 2018 dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu Resapan R = 908.249 m3/tahun, pengambilan air oleh penduduk Ed = 7.107.847,2 m3/tahun, pengambilan air oleh industri Ei = 2.390,209315 m3/tahun, pengambilan air oleh fasilitas umum Ef = 215.719,6626 m3/tahun, pengambilan air oleh perdagangan Ep = 610.705.759,8 m3/tahun dan pengambilan air oleh perternakan Et= 41.880,05655 m3/tahun. Nilai pengambilan air bawah tanah disebabkan oleh faktor lingkungan dengan kontribusi terkecil dari faktor pengambilan air oleh pertanian/perkebunan (Et), kontribusi terbesar dari faktor pengambilan air oleh perdagangan (Ep), selebihnya karena faktor alam. Penelitian pengelolaan pengambilan air bawah tanah tahun 2017 dan 2018 menjelaskan adanya pengaruh faktor-faktor lingkungan yang terintegrasi terhadap perubahan kedalaman air bawah tanah di Kecamatan Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The Characteristics of Noise Spectrum for Vechicle at Rest condition at Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The research methodology uses Digital Voice Recorder experimentally and a GoldWave Software computes by a recorder. The measurement of noiseis detected at rest vehicle in four position having densed noise. First position has high peak and amplitude at Jalan Tuanku Tambusai 1. The other positions have low peak and amplitude at Jalan Soekarno Hatta 1, Jalan Tuanku Tambusai 2 and Jalan Soekarno Hatta 2 respectively. Noise signal is then evaluated at frequency 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz for all position. The intensityat position I has -85.0584 dB until -29.4942 dB, position II has -47.7043 dB until -84.5914dB , position III has -74.7860 dB until -46.7704 dB and position IVhas -74.7860 dB until - 46.3035 dB. The average noise spectrum intensity of vehicle against frequency y=Ax+B, where y is avarege spectrum intensity and x is frequency. The details is at position I (y=- 0.002x-35.93), at position II (y=-0.001x-52.01), at position III (y=-0.000x-54.81) and at position IV (y=-0.001x-50.24). In conclution, the spectrum of vehicle stop condition has low intensity.

Abstract

A research has been done in distilling seawater using solar heater with and without concave mirror reflector. The concave reflector mirror has been made with its diameter of 2.2 meters, height of 0.3 meters and focus of 1 meter. The reflector was placed on the ground and was directly illuminated by the sunlight. The collector which contained seawater was exactly placed on the focus of the reflektor. During the heating, thetemperature was measured every hour from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB. The observation was done for seven days. The results showed that maximum temperature of seawater using the reflector was about 100o C and 140oC at the focus and the best daily destilling volumewas 688 ml. The results distilling without reflector showed maximum temperature of seawater was about 64oC and the best daily destilling volume was 180 ml. The laboratory testing of the samples before and after distilling showed that there was significantly improvement of water quality, especially in salinity which decreased to be zero after distilling.

Abstract

The noise level produced by standard and modified motorcycles exhaust has been investigated. In this research, there were three types of motorcycles used namely Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha. Noise levels that generated by those motorcycles were measured using Sound Level Meter (SLM) SL 4112. In order to eliminate noise from other sources 5 different  angles (0o, 45o, 90o, 135o, and 180o) were used, then the measurement of noise from the motorcycles exhaust was done 2m from the exhaust. The results of the measurement showed that sound intensity generated by  standard motorcycle exhaust at angle of 90o produced maximum value of 78,17 dB, 79,62 dB and 97,55 dB for Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha respectively. By modifiying the exhaust, the noise level produced of Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha were 97,48 dB, 97,62 dB and 97,55 dB respectively. The significant increase  of noise level for modified exhaust with muffler was caused by several factors such as muffler and diameter of exhaust. The range value of noise level for the standard exhaust was measured at the angle of 90oand the engine variation of 5000 rpm was 78,66 dB while for the modified exhaust produced an average value of 97,55 dB with the same position and engine variation.

Abstract

It has been done a test of noise reduction using carpet by variating its thichness and its distance to noise source in a room (glass box). The thichnes of carpet was 0,246 cm, 0,492 cm and 0,738 cm. The noise reduction was measured at three different position of 30 cm, 50 cm and 70 cm from the noise source. The frequency of noise source used was 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz. The measurement was performed at 95 cm to the nosie source by using sound level meter (SLM) SL 4112. The result showed that for a same thichness and variated measurement distance, the value of noise reduction was independent to the frequency. Noise reduction was getting smaller as increasing the thickness of the carpet. It’s value was maximum at the frequency of 2000 Hz and minimum at the frequency of 500 - 1000 Hz. The relation noise reduction to with frequency yielded a certain pattern, which was the larger carpet thichness the higher the nosie reduction would be. The lowest noise reduction was found at frequency of 500 - 1000 Hz, and the maximum noise reduction was accured at 2000 Hz.

Abstract

The noise levels generated by the palm oil processing machine are demonstrated. Noise level measurement was done at different positions in the engine room area (location 1) and the office area (location 2) by using a Sound Level Meter (SLM) SL 4112. The results showed that the intensity of the noise caused by the engine plant in location 1produce the maximum value of 93.68 dB on Wednesday and 91.99 dB minimum value on Monday, while the second location has maximum value is 71.72 dB on Saturday and the minimum value is 68,63 dB on Monday for duration one week. This difference is due to the accumulation of noise levels with increasing time and background activities that can affect the value of the measurement. Measurements were carried out during one week on the average value of 93.68 dB at location 1 and 71.72 dB at location 2.

Abstract

A research has been conducted to apply artificial neural network in order to predict permeability of reservoir. Method of this research was analytical description. Backpropagation neural network used input layer of 4 neurons, hidden layer of 6 neurons, and output layer of 1 neuron, which was optimal architecture in this research. Result of this research showed that the biggest correlation was 0,9999 for BL#33 well and the lowest correlation was 0,9977 for BL#19 well. The rmse value of BL#19 well was 1,02%, BL#33 well was 0,21%, and was 2,42% for BL#34 well. When rmse decreased, prediction disposed approximated true value. This results indicated the solution based on backpropagation model was reasonable and feasible.
