Abstract

This research is intended to develop students` activity and achievement in learning, especially for the students of VII C SMPN 4 Madiun by applying Cooperative Think-Talk-Write Model. In this case, learning activity consists of reading (which refers to think), discussing (which refers to talk) and writing (which refers to write). This research applies Classroom Action Research. The subject of this research is the students of the first grade of junior high school (VII C) in SMPN 4, in the school year of 20015/2016. The class population consists of 30 students. The data analysis shows that the percentage of learning activity in Cycle I is 22,22%. Moreover, the analysis proves that: (I) the percentage of learning activity in mathematics in Cycle I is 5,56%. Furthermore, the percentage of learning activity in mathematics in Cycle II increases significantly. Hence it gains 47,62%,  however the standard completion in two Cycles has not been achieved yet. In short, the use of Cooperative Think-Talk-Write Model is able to increase the students` learning activity for the students of VII C SMPN 4 Madiun. (2) The class completion rate in Cycle I is 10%, and it gradually increases in Cycle II : 69,23 %. Yet, the standard indicator has not been gained. Therefore, the use of Cooperative Think-Talk-Write Model in this case is unable to increase the students` learning activity, especially in Mathematics.   Key Words :Learning Activity, Students` Achievement, Cooperative Think-Talk-Write Model

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan Lesson Plan berbasis Multiple Intelligences secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, sehingga menggunakan analisis statistik. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis adalah uji statistik non parametrik metode Wilcoxon. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes prestasi belajar matematika dengan kualitas valid yang diberikan oleh validator. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Zobs = 4,9961, dengan Daerah Kritik (DK) = {Zobs | Zobs > 1,645}, hal ini mengakibatkan keputusan uji H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan Lesson Plan berbasis Multiple Intelligences dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa secara signifikan. Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine whether the use of Lesson Plan based Multiple Intelligences can significantly increase students' mathematics achievement. This research is quantitative, so using statistical analysis. The statistical test used to test the hypothesis is non-parametric statistical tests Wilcoxon method. The instrument used is a mathematics achievement test with valid quality provided by the validator. Hypothesis test results showed that the value Zobs = 4,9961, with criticism Regions (DK) = {Zobs | Zobs > 1.645}, this resulted in the decision H0 test. Thus, the conclusion that the use of Multiple Intelligences based Lesson Plan can increase students' mathematics achievement significantly.

Abstract

The goals of the research are to improve students’ activity in asking question and to improve the mathematics learning by applying peer tutor cooperative learning. The subject of the research was 24 student of class VII F SMP Negeri 9 Madiun. While the object of the research were the students’ attempts to ask question and the students’ a chievement in learning mathematics. Class-action research was opplied two cyclical times in which a cyclical time consisted of two meeting. The result of class-action research shows that the use of peer tutor cooperative learning increases of cycle 1 to cycle 2. The total average score of the first learning process is 3,28 and the second learning process is 3,33. The observation of students’ inquiry increases from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The percentage of the students’ inquiry for cycle 1 is 47,05 and the second one is 57,39. The accomplished percentage for cycle 1 is 9,09% and for cycle 2 is 30,43%. The result does not show the indicator of accomplishment so that we need another cycle to improve it. Based on the data we can conclude that there is improvement on learning process, students’ inquiry and students’ achievement in mathematics learning from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Peer tutor cooperative learning has not proven the students’ inquiry and the students achievements for class VII F SMP Negeri 9 Madiun. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Manakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang lebih baik antara siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan siswa dalam pembelajaran langsung. (2) Manakah prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik antara siswa dengan kecerdasan lingkungan tingkat tinggi, sedang dan rendah. (3) Manakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang lebih baik antara siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan siswa dalam pembelajaran langsung untuk masing-masing tingkat kecerdasan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di SMPN 3 Madiun dengan populasi kelas IX. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IX F sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelas IX E sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen yang digunakan tes prestasi belajar, angket dan skala  kecerdasan lingkungan. Sebelum digunakan instrumen di uji cobakan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Tes prestasi belajar dan angket mempunyai reabilitas 0,6 yaitu 0,8, sehingga tes prestasi dan angket kecerdasan lingkungan dapat digunakan. Hasil penelitian: (1) Prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran berbasis masalah tidak lebih baik dari prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran langsung. (2) Prestasi belajar siswa dengan masing-masing tingkat kecerdasan siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran langsung tidak terdapat perbedaan. (3) Siswa tingkat kecerdasan tinggi, prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran berbasis masalah siswa tingkat kecerdasan tinggi tidak lebih baik dari prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran langsung. Siswa tingkat kecerdasan sedang, prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran berbasis masalah tidak lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran langsung. Siswa tingkat kecerdasan rendah, prestasi belajar siswa pembelajaran berbasis masalah tidak lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

English is a demand in the 5.0 era, especially in education. Students use many English journals and references. However, the students' interest in English still needs to be improved. Students need to understand books in English. An English math glossary can help them understand math terms in English. The English Mathematical Glossary contains explanations of mathematical terms—development of a Mathematical English Glossary using an Android application. Android applications have recently developed rapidly because of their nature that can be used anywhere and anytime. This research is development research using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model. The Mathematical English Glossary's development has undergone five stages: planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing. The product developed is an Android-based Mathematical English Glossary. The study results show that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary is valid and practical in content, language, and presentation and effectively increases student digital literacy. After the vocabulary size test was carried out, it was found that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary could improve the vocabulary skills of mathematics education students

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, education faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Technology is now an integrated part of the learning process, providing various tools that can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of education. One technological innovation that has great potential to support educators is ChatGPT. This ability can be utilized by teachers for various purposes, including in making learning tools. With the help of ChatGPT, teachers can save time and energy in designing teaching materials, assignments and learning evaluations that suit students' needs (Kharis et al., 2024). The teachers at SMP PGRI 8 Sidoarjo have not made much use of technology that makes it easier for them to prepare learning tools. This can be seen from the results of initial observations which show that 71.4% of teachers have never used applications or technology that makes it easier to create learning tools. This Community Service implementation was carried out with the aim of introducing, socializing and assisting teachers in utilizing ChatGPT to develop learning tools more quickly, effectively and efficiently. The results of participant responses regarding the implementation of activities are measured by participant satisfaction, which is the average of participant satisfaction with the satisfaction indicator factors. In this activity, 84.46% of participants gave an average rating of very good to the statement items in the questionnaire, which can be interpreted as meaning that 84.46% of participants were very satisfied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh efisiensi biaya dan operasional keagenan terhadap implementasi Sistem Single Submission (SSM) Pengangkut pada PT Pertamina Transkontinental Balikpapan. Implementasi SSM Pengangkut yang merupakan sistem baru integrasi layanan digital di bidang pelayaran, diharapkan mampu menyederhanakan proses pengajuan dokumen, meningkatkan transparansi, mempercepat layanan clearance kapal, serta mengurangi pemborosan biaya dalam kegiatan keagenan kapal. Dengan metode penelitian  kuantitatif, serta teknik analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen (efisiensi biaya dan operasional keagenan) dengan variabel dependen (implementasi SSM Pengangkut). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik efisiensi biaya maupun efisiensi operasional keagenan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan implementasi SSM Pengangkut. Efisiensi biaya terbukti mampu menurunkan total pengeluaran dalam pengurusan dokumen kapal dan mendukung profitabilitas perusahaan. Sementara itu, efisiensi operasional berkontribusi dalam menekan waktu pelayanan serta mencegah keterlambatan keberangkatan kapal yang berdampak luas bagi pemilik kapal, agen, dan pengguna jasa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini merekomendasikan optimalisasi penggunaan SSM Pengangkut secara menyeluruh di seluruh unit operasional, peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, serta pengembangan infrastruktur digital yang mendukung integrasi antar instansi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam upaya peningkatan efisiensi layanan keagenan kapal dan mendukung pertumbuhan sektor logistik nasional yang lebih kompetitif di era global

Abstract

In the shipping industry, safety on board is one of the serious challenges that must be addressed due to the high risk of occupational accidents. PT X implements the HSSE Golden Rules, which consist of the principles of compliance, intervention, and care as a preventive measure to reduce the level of work accident.. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HSSE Golden Rules in reducing the level of work accidents on board PT X. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews (through online forms) and documentation of unsafe action, unsafe condition, and nearmiss reports. The data analysis technique used is Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis. The result show that the HSSE Golden Rules are eable to reduce the level of work accidents on ships, as evidenced by the decrease in the number of unsafe action, unsafe condition, and nearmiss reports from 2023 to 2024. More structured reports that include corrective actions indicate the formation of a better reporting and prevention culture. It can be concluded that the implementation of HSSE Golden Rules is effective in forming a safety culture and can reduce the level of work accidents on PT X ships.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of port integration of PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera with JIIPE Industrial Estate on logistics distribution efficiency. The background is the existence of distribution costs in Indonesia, which are relatively expensive. The integration of ports with industrial estates and other factors could cut distribution costs. The purpose of this research is to find out how many percent of the influence of proximity distance for distribution costs and also the time in the distribution process. In this research, a quantitative methods is used which is assisted by a software, namely SPSS version 27. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data used includes the distance from the port to the warehouse receiving goods, distribution rates, and the length of time in the loading and unloading process. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between distance, costs, and tariffs in the distribution process. And how this integration is significantly beneficial for service users
