Abstract

To support the smooth operation of activities at the port and jetty, adequate facilities and operational systems are required. Long waiting times can reduce the efficiency of the loading and unloading process and hinder other operational processes. Delays can increase the operational cycle of ships, raise operational costs, and decrease port productivity. This study aims to examine the impact of ship waiting time on the efficiency of the coal discharge and loading process at PT. Adhika Samudera Jaya. Efficiency in the loading and unloading activities is crucial for increasing productivity and reducing operational costs. The research employs a quantitative method, with data collection through direct observation and documentation. The results indicate that the duration of ship waiting time significantly affects the efficiency of the discharge and loading process, where longer waiting times lead to longer loading and unloading durations. Key factors influencing waiting time include equipment readiness, weather conditions, shipping management, and cargo availability. By improving operational planning and speeding up facility readiness, the efficiency of the coal discharge and loading process can be optimized. This finding is expected to serve as a reference for companies and port authorities in improving the quality of coal loading and unloading services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen risiko pada kegiatan embarkasi dan debarkasi penumpang di Kapal KMP Gili Iyang yang beroperasi di Pelabuhan Bawean. Pendekatan penelitian yang di gunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode HIRARC sebagai alat analisis utama. Teknik pengambilan sampel di lakukan secara Probability Sampling menggunakan pendekatan Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, di mana responden yang terlibat adalah 30 penumpang yang memiliki pengalaman langsung menggunakan jasa Kapal KMP Gili Iyang saat proses naik dan turun dari kapal. Pengumpulan data di lakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa proses embarkasi dan debarkasi penumpang di Kapal KMP Gili Iyang masih memiliki potensi risiko yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius, terutama pada kategori risiko tinggi hingga sangat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, penerapan strategi pengendalian risiko yang efektif menjadi hal yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan kenyamanan penumpang di Pelabuhan Bawean Identifikasi Risiko Embarkasi dan Debarkasi KMP Gili Iyang di Pelabuhan Bawean Identifikasi risiko dilakukan dengan metode HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) yang sistematis untuk mengungkap potensi bahaya selama proses embarkasi dan debarkasi penumpang. Risiko yang terdeteksi meliputi tergelincir di dermaga, kerusakan fasilitas, serta kepadatan penumpang yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan. Penilaian risiko dilakukan berdasarkan tingkat kemungkinan (Likelihood) dan dampak (Consequence). Pengendalian risiko diterapkan melalui prinsip hierarki: eliminasi, substitusi, rekayasa teknis, pengendalian administratif, dan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD). Penerapan HIRARC secara konsisten meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional pelabuhan, khususnya pada kapal KMP Gili Iyang di Pelabuhan Bawean.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kondisi existing dan ilustrasi desain aplikasi Gery berbasis Barcode. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan dilanjutnya analisis SWOT. Teknik Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa saat ini pelayanan dengan aplikasi Gery belum sepenuhnya optimal karena dari sisi pengguna aplikasi masih ditemukan kesulitan penggunaan, waktu operasional yang masih lama dan permasalahan dasar lainya sehingga dimunculkan pengembangan aplikasi gery berbasis Scan barcode. Optimalisasi dengan barcode ini akan memberikan kemudahan dalam layanan yang terintegrasi antar pihak pergudangan sparepart di PT Teluk Lamong dengan waktu yang cepat dan hasil akurat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out in writing whether the mathematics achievement of students can be improved by the implementation of lesson plan based on Multiple Intelligence. This type of research is the study of literature with five steps, namely (1) collecting the literature and then do a review of some important terms in the study, (2) collecting relevant literature research result, (3) conducting in-depth analysis based on all the literature that has been obtained by the prepared discussion, (4) develop conclusions based on the analysis, (5) making recommendation based on the findings obtained. The conclusion of this research is that a written application of the lesson plan based on Multiple Intelligence has a tendency to increase student’s mathematics achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of multiple intelligences based lesson plans for mathematics learning in junior high school students. Research method with qualitative and quantitative research methods. The results of the qualitative research obtained are a description of the validity of multiple intelligence-based lesson plans for learning mathematics in students. While quantitative research results from the scores obtained in the validity test. The data collection instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire to test the level and lesson plan that included in it. The validation guideline used consists of two types, namely guidelines for validating linguistic aspects and guidelines for validating aspects of the substance. Criteria for practicality and effectiveness of a learning tool which in this study is devoted to lesson plans, is measured based on the results of the draft trial. This validation guide is given to two expert validators, the first validator is a validator with the linguistic expertise field and the second validator is a validator of mathematical experts. Validators with linguistic expertise are used to determine the validity of linguistic aspects, while validators of the field of mathematical expertise are used to determine the validity of aspects of the substance. The results showed that the validity of linguistic aspects was 3.35 and the validity of the substance aspect (content) was 3.82, so it could be concluded that the lesson plan that had been prepared based on multiple intelligences for mathematics learning in junior high school students was valid based on linguistic aspects and aspects of substance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengulas proses serta upaya pemenuhan sparepart kapal dan sinkronisasi file menggunakan aplikasi Shipmanager DNV di PT Pertamina International Shipping. Sebagai perusahaan ship owner, PT Pertamina International Shipping berupaya dalam meningkatkan bisnisnya melalui pengelolaan kapal yang baik dan efisien, salah satunya dengan pengadaan sparepart bagi kapal-kapalnya. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data dan teori analisis Miles, Hubernan, dan Saldana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pemenuhan sparepart dimulai dengan membuat permintaan kebutuhan sparepart oleh pihak kapal, persetujuan pembelian, pemilihan supplier, dan pengiriman serta penerimaan barang di kapal. Sedangkan proses sinkronisasi file melalui tahapan yaitu login aplikasi Shipmanager DNV, ekspor file O, extract file ke bentuk excel kemudian pivotable untuk melihat data delay kapal, dan melakukan transfer file O dan file B dengan mengakses PC kapal yang bersangkutan. Dari proses tersebut apabila terjadi kendala maka upaya yang dilakukan yaitu berupa transfer file dengan Google Drive apabila aplikasi Shipmanager DNV terhambat serta melakukan komunikasi lanjutan atau koordinasi antar pihak yang bersangkutan yaitu pihak kapal dan pihak kantor. Namun penggunaan aplikasi shipmanager dnv dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pemenuhan sparepart kapal dan sinkronisasi file, walaupun terdapat hambatan dalam prosesnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan infrastruktur jaringan dan koordinasi antar pihak yang terlibat. Penelitian diharapkan mampu menjadi acuan dalam efisiensi pengelolaan kapal dalam hal pemenuhan sparepart berbasis digital bagi perusahaan pelayaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh efisiensi biaya dan operasional keagenan terhadap implementasi Sistem Single Submission (SSM) Pengangkut pada PT Pertamina Transkontinental Balikpapan. Implementasi SSM Pengangkut yang merupakan sistem baru integrasi layanan digital di bidang pelayaran, diharapkan mampu menyederhanakan proses pengajuan dokumen, meningkatkan transparansi, mempercepat layanan clearance kapal, serta mengurangi pemborosan biaya dalam kegiatan keagenan kapal. Dengan metode penelitian  kuantitatif, serta teknik analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen (efisiensi biaya dan operasional keagenan) dengan variabel dependen (implementasi SSM Pengangkut). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik efisiensi biaya maupun efisiensi operasional keagenan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan implementasi SSM Pengangkut. Efisiensi biaya terbukti mampu menurunkan total pengeluaran dalam pengurusan dokumen kapal dan mendukung profitabilitas perusahaan. Sementara itu, efisiensi operasional berkontribusi dalam menekan waktu pelayanan serta mencegah keterlambatan keberangkatan kapal yang berdampak luas bagi pemilik kapal, agen, dan pengguna jasa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini merekomendasikan optimalisasi penggunaan SSM Pengangkut secara menyeluruh di seluruh unit operasional, peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, serta pengembangan infrastruktur digital yang mendukung integrasi antar instansi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam upaya peningkatan efisiensi layanan keagenan kapal dan mendukung pertumbuhan sektor logistik nasional yang lebih kompetitif di era global

Abstract

English is a demand in the 5.0 era, especially in education. Students use many English journals and references. However, the students' interest in English still needs to be improved. Students need to understand books in English. An English math glossary can help them understand math terms in English. The English Mathematical Glossary contains explanations of mathematical terms—development of a Mathematical English Glossary using an Android application. Android applications have recently developed rapidly because of their nature that can be used anywhere and anytime. This research is development research using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model. The Mathematical English Glossary's development has undergone five stages: planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing. The product developed is an Android-based Mathematical English Glossary. The study results show that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary is valid and practical in content, language, and presentation and effectively increases student digital literacy. After the vocabulary size test was carried out, it was found that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary could improve the vocabulary skills of mathematics education students

Abstract

Water heating systems on ships play a crucial role in supporting crew comfort and operations. However, conventional systems generally operate continuously without automatic control, resulting in energy waste and high operational costs. This situation drives the need for innovation in more efficient and environmentally friendly water heater designs. This research aims to design and implement an automated water heater temperature control system based on an ESP32 microcontroller with on/off control and the use of paraffin wax as a latent heat storage medium. This design is expected to improve energy efficiency while reducing the operational costs of water heaters on ships. The research methodology includes system design, hardware assembly, and performance testing, both static and dynamic. Testing was conducted to evaluate temperature stability and energy efficiency in system conditions with and without the use of paraffin wax. The results showed that paraffin wax improved water temperature stability while reducing the frequency of heater activation. In a 24-hour test, the system without paraffin wax recorded a heater operating time of 15 hours, consuming 8.85 kWh of electricity and costing Rp11,965.20. In contrast, the Paraffin Wax system only requires 10 hours of heater operation, consumes 5.90 kWh, and costs Rp7,976.80. This demonstrates energy savings of 2.95 kWh and a cost efficiency of up to 58%. Therefore, the ESP32-based water heater automation system and heat storage using Paraffin Wax are proven to be more energy-efficient, cost-effective, and have the potential to be an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for ship operational needs.
