Abstract

Abstrak. Indonesia, dengan kondisi geografisnya yang luas dan beragam, menghadapi tantangan dalam memberikan pendidikan yang merata, khususnya di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Faktor geografis memengaruhi aksesibilitas, kualitas fasilitas, dan distribusi tenaga pengajar di wilayah terpencil dan pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi geografis terhadap pendidikan dasar di Indonesia melalui studi literatur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji jurnal, laporan pemerintah, serta data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa wilayah terpencil memiliki akses pendidikan yang terbatas, fasilitas yang tidak memadai, dan kekurangan tenaga pengajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang terfokus untuk menangani ketimpangan ini demi meningkatkan kualitas dan pemerataan pendidikan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores strategies to develop reading habits among students at SDN 8 Tanjung Lago Banyuasin and the challenges faced. Reading plays a vital role in intellectual and character development, yet students' reading habits remain low. Using a qualitative approach through observations, interviews, and documentation, the study finds that while literacy programs like daily reading sessions and classroom reading corners exist, they have not fully established a strong reading culture. Challenges include a lack of engaging books, tight academic schedules, minimal parental support, and the distraction of digital entertainment. To address this, schools enhance teachers' roles as literacy facilitators, engage parents in literacy programs, and integrate digital resources. Strategies such as book discussions, storytelling, and reward systems create a more engaging environment. Findings highlight the need for collaboration between schools, teachers, and parents to nurture lifelong reading habits, supporting students' academic success and personal growth.

Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate how social media use impacts students’ understanding of social and cultural concept at SDN Sumingkir 02. The research subject are students in grades V and VI who actively use social media. To collect data, observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation were used. According to the research findings, various aspects of students lives are influenced by social media including learning behavior, social interactions, and communication patterns. Student interact more digitally than face to face, which can recude the quality of social relationships and increase risks such as anxiety, stress, and cyberbullying. Social media has positive benevits, such as increasing creativity and cultural knowledge, but excessive use without supervision can interfere with the development of students character and mental health. Therefore, parents and teachers must play an active role in guiding their students and improving their digital literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of scout members in understanding the history of scouting in the values ​​of service. This research method is a qualitative approach with a book review approach and observation and data analysis. The results of the research improve the character of scout members' service with a pleasant pattern, form individuals who are ready and willing to make sacrifices in service, and become a tool for forming strong character for society and organizations. Thus, scout activities become a form of education that is more directed towards forming the character of participants educated and have various skills that are very useful in real life.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how teachers and students interact in creating a conducive situation for learning in class II of Al-Ittihadiyah Elementary School. The aim of this research is to analyze how students interact with teachers to create a comfortable situation in the classroom when learning takes place. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with the research objects being teachers and students in sociology learning. The research results show that the social interaction between teachers and students is good. In good conditions, the interaction between teachers and students looks friendly, the learning situation is enthusiastic, and there is teacher apperception for students. From the conclusions of the research findings, the interactions carried out by teachers and students in class II show that the teacher's performance in creating a conducive classroom climate is said to be good, which can be seen from the teacher being able to develop himself to be more professional and improving the quality of students' learning. The creativity of teachers in creating effective learning situations in class II at SD Al-Ittihadiyah. The methods used by teachers include lectures, questions and answers, and discussions. The media used include whiteboards and canvas. Factors inhibiting teacher creativity include the complete facilities and infrastructure of the school.

Abstract

Kebudayaan Indonesia dibentuk oleh keragaman kelompok etnis dan adat istiadat mereka,sehingga memerlukan pertimbangan khusus. Setiap suku bangsa di Indonesia mempunyai budaya tersendiri yang turut membentuk identitasnya. Berdasarkan “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”, bangsa Indonesia terdiri dari berbagai suku, bahasa, dan budaya yang kesemuanya berbeda-beda antara satu suku dengan suku lainnya dan dapat dipahami dengan meneliti kekhasan budaya suku-suku tersebut. Di Indonesia saat ini, konflik antar suku masih menjadi permasalahan, khususnya di wilayah perbatasan. Permasalahan etnis dan budaya lainnya mencakup sulitnya melestarikan dan memajukan keanekaragaman budaya dalam menghadapi globalisasi dan modernisasi. Selain itu, kekhawatiran seperti perlindungan warisan budaya tradisional dan prasangka terhadap ras dan agama minoritas juga penting. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk meredam konflik etnis di Indonesia dengan memaparkan gagasan bahwa setiap suku mempunyai keunikan tersendiri. Hal ini jugaberupaya untuk mengurangi diskriminasi terhadap agama tertentu dan meminimalkan konflik antar kelompok etnis di negara kita. Dengan melakukan hal ini, penulis berharap dapat menyebarkan kesadaran akan budaya Indonesia dan mencegah setiap kelompok etnis melihat suatu permasalahan dari satu sudut pandang.
