Abstract

Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer that attacks plasma cells in the bone marrow and affects the immune system. This study analyzes the survival time of patients with multiple myeloma using Type 1 censored exponential distributed parameter estimation. The data, consisting of 47 patients (35 uncensored and 12 censored), were tested for exponential distribution fit using the Anderson-Darling test, yielding a p-value of 0.495, confirming the suitability of the exponential model. The maximum likelihood estimation method was applied, resulting in a parameter estimate (θ ̂) of approximately 54.028 days, representing the mean survival time. Hypothesis testing and confidence intervals were conducted, with the 95% confidence interval for θ_0 ranging between 32 and 53 days. The findings suggest that the exponential distribution effectively models the survival data, providing insights into patient survival trends and supporting clinical decision-making.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertema “Penguatan Literasi Perpajakan pada Generasi Muda” dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi D4 Akuntansi Perpajakan Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut (Politala) di SMK Negeri 1 Takisung, Kabupaten Tanah Laut, Kalimantan Selatan. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar perpajakan, menumbuhkan kesadaran pajak sejak dini, serta memberikan pengalaman aplikatif bagi mahasiswa melalui kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah interaktif, simulasi pengisian SPT Tahunan, praktik administrasi pajak sederhana (NPWP dan EFIN), serta diskusi kelompok. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada literasi perpajakan siswa, dengan rata-rata skor pemahaman meningkat dari 41,2% menjadi 82,7% setelah kegiatan. Antusiasme siswa terhadap materi dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator turut memperkuat efektivitas program. Kegiatan ini juga menegaskan peran strategis kampus vokasi dalam pelaksanaan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam aspek pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Program edukasi pajak ini diharapkan menjadi model penguatan inklusi keuangan berbasis pajak yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah-sekolah menengah lainnya di Kalimantan Selatan untuk mendukung peningkatan kesadaran pajak generasi muda dan keberlanjutan pembangunan daerah. Kata Kunci: Literasi Pajak, Edukasi Pajak, Kampus Vokasi, Politala, Inklusi Keuangan Abstract The community service activity entitled “Strengthening Tax Literacy Among the Young Generation” was conducted by the D4 Tax Accounting Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut (Politala) at SMK Negeri 1 Takisung, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. The main objectives of this program were to enhance students’ understanding of basic taxation concepts, foster early tax awareness, and provide practical experience for students through educational and mentoring activities. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, simulations of annual tax return (SPT) filing, basic tax administration practices (NPWP and EFIN registration), and group discussions. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students’ tax literacy, with the average comprehension score increasing from 41.2% to 82.7% after the program. Students’ enthusiasm for the material and the active participation of Politala students as facilitators further strengthened the program’s effectiveness. This activity also highlights the strategic role of vocational higher education institutions in carrying out the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, particularly in community service. The tax education program is expected to serve as a model for strengthening tax-based financial inclusion that can be replicated in other vocational schools across South Kalimantan to support the improvement of young people’s tax awareness and the sustainability of regional development. Abstract

Survival analysis is a statistical technique used to test the durability and reliability of a component. Life time data obtained from a life test experiment is often in the form of type III censored data, which occurs when observations enter at different times and last for varying durations. In survival analysis, data is expected to follow a certain probability distribution. To determine the characteristics of a population, a point estimate of the probability distribution parameters is conducted. This study aims to obtain parameter estimators of the Lomax distribution on type III censored data with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) and Newton Raphson methods. Application of parameter estimation results on post-heart surgery survival data in one of the Jakarta hospitals. The result of estimating the parameter value in the post-heart surgery patient data is 1.552 and the result of estimating the parameter in the post-heart surgery patient data is 20.38. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the estimated probability of survival of a post-heart surgery patient for more than 49 days is 14.94%.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a child's development and growth is disturbed, which has long-term impacts, including the potential for impaired brain development due to insufficient cognitive development and a greater risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cancer, and so on. One effort to reduce stunting rates is to increase knowledge of nutrition awareness in the family. UNAIR Statistics Study Program, participates in efforts to reduce stunting rates with community service activities (Pengmas), in the form of outreach activities regarding basic and practical knowledge in the form of workshops and training activities using R-Shiny based WEB and Android to determine the nutritional status of toddlers which can used anywhere and anytime. This community service activity was carried out in the working area of "‹"‹the Tampo Community Health Center, Banyuwangi, East Java, involving 62 female cadre representatives from 31 local posyandu. The results of this community service activity can increase knowledge regarding education and nutrition knowledge for toddlers in the context of achieving nutrition-aware families. This is proven by the results of statistical analysis of pre-test and post-test scores which conclude that there is an increase in scores from pre-test to post-test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the feedback questionnaire given to participants, the posyandu cadre mother felt very satisfied with an average score of 86, gained useful knowledge, and made it easier for posyandu cadres to find out the nutritional status of toddlers.

Abstract

Survival analysis is often used in the application of analyzing the survival of an object such as living things or objects. This analysis is identical to data censoring which is divided into three, namely: type I, II, and III censored data. Type II censored data is data censoring done by determining the number of objects to be analyzed  from the total number of observation objects . Type II censored data is used when the analysis is intended to maximize the results of the analysis. Bayesian Linear Exponential (LINEX) loss function is one method that can be used to estimate parameters in survival analysis by minimizing the expected value of LINEX. The purpose of this study is to determine the Bayesian LINEX loss function parameter estimation on type II censored data using exponential distribution. This method uses the concept of posterior distribution and prior distribution. The prior distribution used is the Jeffrey prior distribution which has objective properties and is based on Fisher information theory The application of the parameter estimation results is carried out on the survival data of lung cancer patients obtained from the North Central Cancer Treatment Group. Based on the results of parameter estimation, it is concluded that the greater the value of the controller  (a) can produce a smaller value of parameter estimation results (θ^) . The results of this study can be used as a reference in conducting survival tests using type II censored exponential distribution data using the LINEX loss function method based on Jeffrey priors.

Abstract

Minuman  tepache  tidak terdapat resep baku dalam pembuatannya dan penggunaan gula  dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesukaan pada minuman tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dilakukanlah percobaan  ini  untuk menentukan formula yang paling disukai dengan digunakannya variasi jenis dan konsentrasi gula yang digunakan..  Pembuatan  tepachedilakukan dengan cara fermentasi selama 3 hari (72 jam) dengan menggunakan dua jenis gula, yaitu gula merah dan gula pasir dengan konsentrasi  pada masing-masing jenis gula, yaitu  100, 200, serta 300 gram.  Setelah dilakukan fermentasi selama 3 hari (72 jam), didapatkanlah minuman  tepachedengan karakteristik rasa, aroma, dan warna yang berbeda-beda  berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi uji hedonik yang dilakukan.  Formula P2 merupakan formula yang paling disukai karena memiliki rasa asam dan manis yang seimbang.

Abstract

Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) merupakan bahan atau alat pengajaran yang disediakan pemerintah secara online dengan fitur pembelajaran kompetensi guru. PMM memiliki tujuan dalam upaya transformasi pendidikan berbasis digital di Indonesia dan berfungsi sebagai mitra penggerak guru dalam mengajar, belajar, dan menuntut ilmu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) pada kinerja guru di Kota Bengkulu. peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) kinerja guru menunjukan bahwa bagi sebagian guru sudah efektif dalam menggunakan teknologi, khususnya bagi guru-guru muda. Sedangkan bagi para guru yang sudah lanjut usia memiliki kesulitan dalam menggunakan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) karena kurangnya pemahaman teknologi masa kini.

Abstract

Pneumonia is a type of infectious and contagious respiratory disease that causes death in toddlers. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2024), the coverage of pneumonia among toddlers in 2023 was 36.95% with a total of 416,435 cases. This study aims to model and classify the pneumonia status of toddlers in Indonesia using the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS) method and several machine learning methods, such as logistic regression, K-NN, random forest, and SVM. This study uses secondary data from the Survei Kesehatan Indonesia in 2023 and the Profil Kesehatan Indonesia in 2023, including variables such as the percentage of toddlers health service coverage, low birth weight babies, population density, percentage of malnutrition in toddlers, prevalence of smoking in the population aged ≥10 years in the last 1 month, percentage of toddlers who are exclusively breastfed, and percentage of toddlers who have incomplete basic immunization. The best model obtained using the MARS method is with BF = 14, MI = 2, and MO = 3. This model produces a GCV value of 0.122 and R-Square of 82.9%, which shows good prediction performance. The classification results show that the MARS method is superior to the logistic regression, K-NN, random forest, and SVM methods with an accuracy rate of 97.06%.

Abstract

Home Ownership Credit (KPR) is a credit facility provided by banks to individual customers who want to buy or repair a house. KPR also has problems with credit payment failures. This research aims to predict the risk of fraud on home ownership loans by applying the Random Forest method. Random Forest (RF) is a method that can increase accuracy results in generating attributes for each node which is done randomly. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the model with the smallest classification error was using mtry 2 and ntree 50 using a combination of training and testing data of 60%:40%. By applying the random forest algorithm, we obtained an accuracy rate of 84.75% with an Area Under the Curve (AUC) value of 84.32%, which is included in the very good classification category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap cerpen Menunggu Suti karya RD Kedum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian Sinkronis, karena penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan sezaman atau satu waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pembaca yang berada dalam satu periode. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti berhasil mendapatkan data yang valid dari para responden. Adapun data tersebut mahasiswa ataupun responden menyukai cerpen Menunggu Suti karya RD Kedum. Para responden menyatakan bahwa cerpen Menunggu Suti ceritanya menarik untuk dibaca dan mudah dipahami.
