Abstract

Recently the condition of agriculture in Indonesia needs to be addressed. Soil fertility getting damaged due to chemical fertilizer that is not impartial. In addition, the impact of excessive use of synthetic pesticides can cause damage to the ecosystem. Control of plant diseases using biological agents began getting attention because of public concerns due to the use of synthetic chemical pesticides. Biological agents are microorganisms,  both  naturally  occurring  such  as  bacteria,  fungi,  viruses  and protozoa, as well as the results of genetic engineering that are used to control plantpests. Madrasah Diniyah Jumapolo, Karanganyar, has pioneered the manufacture of biological agents to support organic farming although on a small scale. Community service activities undertaken to provide assistance in the improvement of the production process  and  management  improvements.  The  technology  developed  is  the  use  ofbiological pesticides agent isolated from Beauveria bassiana and Trichoderma sp. As a natural insecticide and fungicide. The activities received support from the madrasa and expressed successfully produce biological agents in the proper packaging. In addition to the consumption of madrasa and nearby farmers, pesticide product ofbiological agents is also sold to the public. The selling of products will increase the development of organic farming to produce healthy food also will gain additional income for the madrasa.

Abstract

Investment is one of the important components for the sustainability of economic development process. Research objectives to be achieved are to estimate the influence of foreign investment on economic growth, and vice versa.  The benefits to be gained are to increase the existence of economic growth theory can be applied in Indonesia, strengthen the results of previous studies, and clarify the understanding of the theory of economic growth. One of the way to analyze the influence of short-run and long run is to use dynamic models. In this study, the model used is the Engle Granger's Error Correction Models (EG-ECM), based Granger representation theorem. From the results of the research note that the variables that have a significant impact in the short run is the Foreign Direct Investment to GDP and vice versa. These research results have proved the existence of two-way causality

Abstract

The density of the poor occurs because rapid population growth that is not followed by fast economic growth, resulting in a density of poor people in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Poverty gap index-P1, HDI, GRDP, Labor Force on the Density of the Poor in Indonesia in 2015-2020. This study uses the Poverty gap index-P1 to fill the gap of research. All data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia. The data obtained are in the form of time series and cross-section data in 2015-2020. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. Result of the discussion the poverty gap index-P1 have positive impact to the poverty density indicated by the level of size and the depth of the poor population that increases, and the HDI have negative impact to poverty density. The suggestion from the study is poverty alleviation programs needs to be strengthened and expanding the access of health and employment facilities to the poor is of major importance.

Abstract

People efficiently aware that exploitation of development technology gives significant economy advantage. This such of awareness supports the development of competition in technology innovation and the competition of exploitation technology to reach bigger economy advantage. The economical impact of the exploitation of technology constitutes occurring of management and organization transition in various companies both of a capital intensive and labour intensive. The writer also analyses an opinion of neoclassic economist about advancement of technology. The empirical analysis points out that national production (Y) is not only caused by capital development (K) and the growth of employee (L), but also caused by the other factor, which at the beginning are considered as residual factor. It is called Total Factor Productivity (TFP).

Abstract

Investment is one of important component for sustainable economic development process. The research objective that want achieved is to estimate influence of labour, inflation, PDRB, and interest rate to domestic investment (PMDN) in Central Java. The research benefit was to clarify factors that influenced domestic investment and gave insight and input for local government in formulating economy policy. One of method for analysing long-run and short run influence was by using dynamic model. In this research, model which applied was ENGLE GRANGER ERROR CORRECTION MODEL (EG-ECM) based on granger representation theoremResult of this research indicated that domestic investment one year ago was variable which influenced significantly in short run while rate of interest influenced in long run.

Abstract

Exchange rate measures the value of a certain foreign exchange from other foreign exchange's perspective. As the condition of economic changes, the exchange rate ma change substantially. The decrease of the value of a foreign exchange is called depreciation and the increase value of a foreign exchange is called appreciation. The equilibrium exchange rate will change along with the change of demand and supply. Factors causing the change of demand and supply curve among others are the amount of money supply, relative gross domestic product (GDP) and the level of relative interest rate. The research is aimed to analyze the influence of variables of Indonesian money supply, American money supply, Indonesian real Gross Domestic Product, American real Gross Domestic Product, deposits interest rate and LIBOR (London Interbank Offer Rates on SDR Deposit) both in short and long terms. One of the ways to analyze the influence of short term and long term is by developing the dynamic model. In this research, the analyzes of dynamic model was conducted with ENGEL-GRANGER ERROR CORRECTION MODEL approach which was developed by ENGEL-GRANGER (1987) based on GRANGER REPRESENTATION THEOREM.The ECM analyzes was chosen not only because of its ability to solve the problem of time series which is not stationer, and spurious regression and spurious correlation in the economic analyses but also its ability to discuss the consistence of empiric model with economic theory. Beside, ECM concept is also thought to be more realistic in observing the development of economics variables from the result of the analyzes during the time of observation. It was known that long-term exchange rate is influenced by Indonesia real Gross Domestic Product and the number of Indonesian money supply. The variable of Indonesian real Gross Domestic showed the significant result and the signal test was convenient with the theory. The variable which influence" short term exchange rate are the amount of Indonesian money supply, Indonesian real Gross Domestic Product, and Indonesian deposit interest rate. The three variables showed the significant result and the signal test was convenient with the theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze factors influencing the production of organic rice that is land area, seed, labor, fertilizer, and water. This study uses OLS analysis tool (ordinary least squares method). The results show a significant correlation between the variable land area (LH), number of seeds (BH), number of workers (TK), total fertilizer (KDP), and the cost of irrigation (AIR) with organic rice production. Among these five variables is negatively related to variable fertilizer. While the existence of the model test showed that the model exists for use. Land area (LH) has a positive influence on the production of organic rice. The number of seeds (BH) has a positive influence on the production of organic rice, Labor (TK) has a positive influence on the production of organic rice. The use of organic fertilizers (KDP) have an influence on the production of organic rice nagatif. The cost of irrigation (WATER) has a positive influence on the production of organic rice. The results of the classical model assumptions there is no problem, either multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, specification model, and normality.

Abstract

At industrialization phase, women will be shifted by men because the increasing of unemployment. When economic development reaches a certain stage, the trend of development turned with increasing women employment. Purpose of the research that will be reached is to estimate influence of women unemployment, women resident that managing household, and women residents that still school on the level of women participation in the labor force in Central Java (1982-2000). This study clarifies the factors that influence the level of participation of women in the labor force and improve the existence theory of the labor force participation rate. One way to analyze the effect of short-run and long run is to use a dynamic model. In this research model used is the Engle Granger Error Correction Models (EG-ECM) which based on "granger representation theorem". The result knows the variable having influence which significance in short-run are women resident that managing household and women resident that still school.
