Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of ability of creativity in students. To fix the issue, on the research learning model applied to Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending (CORE). Research objectives for the enhancement of creativity and learning activities of students in learning mathematics through the application of the model of learning a CORE class XI Accounting SMK Muhammadiyah 13 Sibolga. This type of research is research action class. Where the subject of this research is the grade XI Accounting SMK Muhammadiyah 13 Siboga consisting of 36 students. While the techniques and data-collecting instruments namely observation and tests. Research results can be seen from the students ' creativity ability test on cycle I with a percentage of 53% in cycle II an increase in the percentage of 82% with an increase of 29%. Activity levels of students against mathematics increases, it is retrieved from 63% percentage of the cycle I, and 82% in cycle II increased by 18%. The ability of the teacher to manage learning percentage of 72% in cycle I and 94% in cycle II, with an increase of 23%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the model Connecting, Organizing and Extending (CORE) can increase creativity in learning mathematics processed XI accounting SMK Muhammadiyah 13 Sibolga.

Abstract

his type of research is Class Action Research. Where the subject of the research is the grade X5 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola West which consists of 38 students. While the techniques and tools to capture data that is now, tests and observations. The percentage of students on mathematical disposition now cycle I was 50.26% to 81.57% in cycle II. With the amount of the percentage increase in students ' mathematical disposition of 31.31%. Understanding of the mathematical concepts of students increases, it is retrieved from the percentage of the cycle I 52.63% become 81.39% in cycle II, students and the amount of the percentage rose 28.94%. Students learn math activity increases; it is retrieved from 63.98% percentage of the cycle I and 63.98% in cycle II. With the amount of the percentage increase in the activity of students of 22.94%. The ability of the teacher to manage learning percentage amounted to 64.00% in cycle I and cycle II 83.00%, with an increase of 19.00%. The results of this study showed that the learning model Treffinger might improve the understanding of mathematical concepts and disposition of the students of class X5 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola West.Keywords: The Learning Model Treffinger, understanding Mathematical concepts, Dispositions, SPLDV.

Abstract

In the current COVID-19 condition, which requires that learning be carried out by e-learning, students' creativity in learning mathematics is getting lower. To overcome this problem, this study applied the Pair Checks learning model. The objectives of the increase in students' mathematical creativity taught by the application of the Pair Checks learning model, to know the increase in student activity taught by the application of the Pair Checks learning model, to know the improvement of teacher performance in learning mathematics through the Pair Checks learning model. This type of research is Classroom Research. Where the research subjects are students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan for the academic year, 2020/2021, totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques and tools are tests and observations. The analytical technique used is descriptive. The results of this study after using the Pair Checks learning model that is seen from the results of the students' mathematics learning creativity test increased with the percentage gain in the first cycle from 61.9% to 90.48% in the second cycle, and the total percentage increased by 28.58%. Student activity in learning increased, this is evidenced by the acquisition of a percentage of 70.47% in the first cycle and 93.9% in the second cycle with an increase of 24.43%. The ability of teachers to manage learning has increased, this is evidenced by the percentage gain of 72% in the first cycle and 96% in the second cycle with an increase of 24%. So the results of this study show that the Pair Checks learning model can increase students' creativity in learning mathematics, student activities in class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Decision Making. penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 6 Padangisidimpuan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran Decision Making pada mata pelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bersifat kuntitatif yaitu menggunakan siklus I dan Siklus II. Dimana subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa – siswi kelas X-MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pada siklus I nilai rata rata siswa adalah 70,74 dan kinerja guru pada Siklus I yaitu 56,02%  dari siklus tersebut masih jauh dari Kriteria ketuntasan materi  (>75) dan  kinerja guru (>80) untuk itu perlu tindakan pada siklus II, dimana pada siklus II nilai rata – rata siswa 82,79 dan kinerja guru  pada siklus II adalah 86,36%. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan  model Decision Making dapat meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan.
