Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the influence of in-group favoritism towards discrimination on the workplace, especially between Indonesian employees and Chinese workers. In-group favoritism of an individual will affect the discrimination in an organization. This study was conducted in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The participants of this study were 34 which consisted of 15 male and 19 female and came from private sector. This study used self-report to measure participants’ tendency towards two variables. In-group favoritism was measured by adaptation scale from (Luhtanen & Crocker, 1992), while discrimination variable used Lewis’ scale. Data analysis used regression model with SPSS 25 for Windows. The significance of hypothesis showed p = 0.35, which indicated the non significant result. The result of this study showed that in-group favoritism has no influence towards discrimination to Chinese workers.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada peserta didik mengenai kecemasan menghadapi ujian, serta cara mengatasi kecemasan ujian tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini melalui pemberian psikoedukasi melalui media poster yang isinya meliputi defenisi kecemasan ujian, perbedaan kecemasan dan rasa takut, dampak kecemasan terhadap ujian, tanda-tanda kecemasan menjelang ujian, faktor-faktor kecemasan pada saat menjelang ujian, serta cara mengatasi kecemasan ujian. Pelaksanaan psikoedukasi berlangsung selama 1 minggu melalui aplikasi whataspp dan Instagram.Peserta pelaksanaan psikoedukasi ini adalah 20 orang peserta didik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi melalui poster dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang kecemasan ujian serta cara 95% responden menyatakan poster memberikan manfaat dan 5% orang belum memahami ini poster tersebut.

Abstract

Psychoeducation is one form of intervention that can be given to students in order to improve the quality of life of students, one of which is the ability to deal with academic stress. Psychoeducation efforts to improve stress coping on academic stress in new students are carried out with the aim that students experience increased stress coping in dealing with academic stress. The research was conducted with the Experiment One Group Pre test-Post test Design. The subjects in this study were 58 new students who were willing to take part in the research. The results showed the Wilcoxon test through IBM SPSS Statistics 21, the results obtained that the Asymp value. Sig.(2-tailed) for the pre-test and post-test of 0.000. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi self efficacy terhadap peningkatan pengetahun dan pemahaman peserta mengenai self efficacy dalam perencanaan karir. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 47 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen quasi yang berupa One Group Pre test-Post test Design. Instrumen pengukuran berupa kuisioner yang diberikan sebelum (pretest) dan setelah (posttest) pemberian intervensi psikoedukasi.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif dekngan Teknik persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang didapatkan pada subjek setelah mengikuti psikoedukasi. Berdasarkan penelitian diketahui 83% subjek menilai psikoedukasi memberikan manfaat bagi pengembangan karir subjek. Berdasarkan kategori maka subjek berada dikategosi sangat puas untuk manfaat yang diperoleh dari materi psikoedukasi, serta 87,3% subjek yang memiliki nilai pretest dan posttest yang meningkat yang berarti pengetahuan dan pemahaman subjek terkait perencaan karir meningkat.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of Al-Quran Counseling training in improving the resilience of students. This study aimed to determine differences in the resilience of students before and after al-Quran counseling training. There were 40 students as participants in this study. Purposive sampling was used in this study to acquire the participants. The research program was quasi experiment one group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis was performed using paired samples t test. The results showed that there are differences in the resilience of students before and after al-Quran Counseling training.

Abstract

Abstrak. Berkembangnya kasus-kasus dan semakin pesatnya jumlah wanita tuna susila memiliki keterkaitan langsung dengan kesehatan mental masyarakat sebagai akumulasi dari berbagai masalah sosial dan kepribadian. Perubahan psikologis terjadi pada wanita tuna susila ketika menjalani razia dan pembinaan selama 5 bulan. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh klien, rata-rata klien memiliki tingkat agresivitas yang cukup tinggi. Perilaku agresi yang ditunjukkan seperti berteriak, membuat keributan, memukul, melempar barang, merusak fasilitas, memusuhi individu yang lain, hingga pelanggaran yang secara sosial tidak dapat diterima. Penurunan agresivitas dapat dilakukan dengan metode yang tepat. Tingkat agresivitas dapat menurun salah satunya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai. Modul berperan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang berisikan materi, metode, tujuan, dan pengevaluasian yang dirancang secara menarik untuk mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mempersiapkan modul, dimulai dari menetapkan tujuan, lalu menentukan materi, kemudian menentukan siapa peserta atau sasaran modul, kemudian memilih media seperti apa yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan yang terakhir mempresentasikan modul. Pemaparan presentasi modul dan penyerahan modul mendapat respon positif oleh kepala UPT dan para pekerja sosial. Hal ini terlihat dari antusias pekerja sosial dalam mengikuti kegiatan dan menanggapi modul kegiatan.Kata Kunci: Wanita Tuna Susila, Penurunan Agresivitas, Modul

Abstract

Gadget users in general and smartphones in particular are growing rapidly in Indonesia, including children. The purpose of this service is to provide information regarding the impact of gadgets and strategies for using gadgets on children to minimize the impact of excessive gadget use on children. The service method used is to carry out psychoeducation for parents so that parents know how to deal with gadget disturbances in children. The results of the service show that with psychoeducation, parents obtain information related to the characteristics of child development, children's motives for playing gadgets, strategies for using gadgets in children so that children can use gadgets for positive purposes. Thus, it can be concluded that psychoeducation can have an effect on increasing parental knowledge regarding strategies for using gadgets in children. The suggestion for the implementation of further dedication is that parents are involved not only mothers, but fathers are also involved because the effectiveness of gadget management strategies for children requires discipline. for all family members at home.

Abstract

Abstrak. Studi ini meneliti tentang pengembangan model spiritual teaching untuk guru bidang studi sebagai upaya peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual siswa sman 14 makassar. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan spiritual siswa dan mengetahui keterampilan pengajaran guru. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 183 siswa yang dipilih secara proporsional random sampling dan 55 guru bidang studi. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 89 siswa memiliki kecerdasan spiritual rendah, 66 siswa memiliki kecerdasan spiritual sedang, dan 18 siswa memiliki kecerdasan spiritual tinggi. keadaan keterampilan pembelajaran guru-guru pada dasarnya sudah berlangsung dengan baik tetapi tidak sepenuhnya menggunakan pendekatan spiritual teaching. kecerdasan spiritual dapat membantu siswa mengimbangi ketiga jenis kecerdasan, yaitu eq, iq, dan sq untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang ideal.Kata Kunci: Spiritual Teaching, Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa

Abstract

The prevalence of issues regarding violence against women and children has become a fairly popular topic in recent years. Violence against women and children in Indonesia continues to occur over time and takes on increasingly diverse forms. Therefore, the protection of women and children has become a primary focus of the Indonesian government. If not addressed seriously, the potential damage to the mental, moral, and spiritual well-being of the younger generation, including children considered as Indonesia's golden generation, may increase due to the significant impact of trauma. The method of implementing activities involves a webinar addressing the topic of "Combating Violence: Protection and Complaint Mechanisms for Women and Children," attended by 40 participants from various backgrounds. It is hoped that with this webinar, the community will be more aware of acts of violence against women and children and can identify indications of criminal acts. Additionally, the webinar is expected to help provide information about complaint mechanisms that can be utilized by the public witnessing acts of violence against women and children, encouraging them to report to the police, especially the Women and Children Protection Unit.

Abstract

Verbal violent behavior in the online game mobile legend: bang bang for some online game players is normal and has become a habit. The purpose of this study was to explore the behavior of verbal violence in online game players: mobile legend bang bang. This study uses a qualitative research design with a construct realism approach. The research respondents totaled 188 online game players: mobile legend: bang bang. Data was collected using an open question questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The results of the study show that there are five types of verbal abuse that occur in online games: mobile legend: bang bang, i.e. swearing by demeaning one's abilities, using animal names, harsh words, sexual harassment, and swearing by insulting one's condition. The causes of individuals getting verbal violence are lack of skills, experiencing defeat in games, poor communication, and network disturbances. Individuals also verbally abuse other individuals due to anger, bad playing players, game atmosphere, habits, and game strategies. The individual goals of verbal violence are expressing frustration, motivating players, self-satisfaction, game strategies, and player habits. The impact of verbal violence is the psychological impact such as hurt, fear, giving resistance, provoked anger, and retaliating. Non-psychological impacts such as stopping playing, reporting to game parties, disabling communication features, and motivating players. Efforts to minimize verbal violence in the legendary mobile game: bang bang, namely reminding each other, playing seriously, calming down, stopping playing, venting on other things, ignoring other players. The implication of this research is as a source of literacy regarding verbal violence that occurs in the mobile game legend: bang bang.
