Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in writing short stories in the Indonesian language class IV at Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School. The type of research is descriptive qualitative and the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display and conlusion drawing. And the data source data in this study were all 4th graders of Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School, Makassar City. The data techniques in this study were the distribution of test sheets, student and teacher interviews and documentation in the research conducted at Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School.The results of this study indicate that the ability level of students in writing short stories is still low. Based on the results of writing short stories that have been made by students and the results of interviews conducted by teachers and students with researchers, it shows that the difficulties experienced by students are difficulties in expressing ideas, limited vocabulary and difficulty determining the structure of short stories so that students have difficulty in making a story. short.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of Clickbait on news headlines in online media to attract readers. The data is in the form of title sentences published by online media. In this research, the author uses a qualitative method. The data is taken from Fajar.co.id, iNews.id, Detik.com, CNN Indonesia, Tribun-Timur.com, Metrosuara.com, and Tvonenews.com. The data taken is in the form of news titles selected based on certain criteria in accordance with the research problem. The results of this study show that, in general, the use of clickbait article titles is widely used by online media to attract readers' interest by disturbing curiosity arising from the information gap between what readers know and what readers want to know. Many clickbait article titles focus on celebrity subjects, rumors, and fictitious accounts and some even have no news value at all. The main purpose of using clickbait article titles is to drive more visits from online media users so that revenue through advertising increases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to write anecdotal texts using the Problem Based Learning model in class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki Kab. Takalar. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) and consists of two cycles, with two cycles carried out in two sessions. Research methods include planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at MA Manongkoki, Kab. Takalar. The target of this study were 23 students of class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki District. Studies show that the average increases from 67.47% in the first period to 84.43% in the second period. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model increases in learning to write anecdotal texts.

Abstract

Penggunaan metode kerja kelompok yang bermakna untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pemgetahuan Alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas  belajar siswa  di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Sambung Jawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Berdasarkan pengamatan ( observasi ) awal peneliti hanya 38,15% aktivitas belajar siswa yang memiliki Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 orang peserta didik. Selama penerapan Penelitian Tindakaan kelas (PTK) persentase tersebut meningkat menjadi 61,14 % pada siklus pertama (I), kemudian menjadi 86,00% pada siklus kedua (II). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode kerja kelompok yang bermakna dapat meningkatkan aktivitas  belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan Realistics Mathematics Education (RME). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 UPT SD Negeri 3 Sambung Jawa yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar angket, dan lembar tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Realistics Mathematics Education (RME) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri3 Sambung Jawa. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa dari kondisi awal nilai rata-rata (pra siklus) yaitu 64 (tidak tuntas) menjadi 80,4 (tuntas) pada kondisi akhir siklus II. Persentase jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM meningkat dari kondisi awal 30%, meningkat menjadi 65% pada evaluasi siklus I dan menjadi 85% pada evaluasi siklus II.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of series image media can improve narrative essay writing skills in class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan, Maros Regency. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in four meetings. The focus of this research is 1) Narrative essay writing skills and 2) Use of series image media in class V of SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 16 class IV students. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research are: (1) In the first cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for Class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency was obtained, namely 58.7. (2) In the second cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for Class V students at SDN 145 Inpres was obtained. Maros district's exposure is higher, reaching 82.5. The learning completion of class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan, Maros Regency has also increased. In cycle I, 3 (18.7%) students achieved complete learning, while in cycle II 14 (87.5%) students achieved complete learning and classical learning was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II was achieved classically because the number of students who completed it was more than 80%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the skill of writing narrative essays for class V at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency through the application of series image media has increased.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to apply the syllabic method with a connected model to improve the reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City. This research aims to improve the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City by implementing the syllabic method with a connected model. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles, each cycle carried out in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects in this research were 23 grade 1 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City. The results of the research showed that in the first cycle of 23 students who completed the written test, there were 10 students or 43% who met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or were in the good category. students or 61% who meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or are in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, in the written test of 23 students, there were 23 students or 100% who met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or were in the very good category, and in the oral test of beginning reading with the syllabic method, of the 23 students there were 22 students or 96 % who meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or are in the very good category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar City through the implementation of the syllabic method with the connected model has increased.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada materi menulis permulaan masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis permulaan dengan menggunakan media gambar pada murid kelas I SDN 261 Siengkang Kabupaten Wajo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Class Action Reaserch) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menulis permulaan dan penggunaan media gambar di kelas I SDN 261 Siengkang Kabupaten Wajo. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas I yang berjumlah 18 orang murid. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas belajar murid dari siklus I ke siklus II, hasil belajar murid mengalami peningkatan yaitu perolehan rata-rata skor hasil belajar murid pada siklus I 69,5 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 87,7. Ketuntasan belajar menulis permulaan murid juga mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada siklus I, dari 4 (22,2%) murid mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan pada siklus II sebanyak 16 (88,9%) murid mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal tercapai. Hal ini berarti ketuntasan belajar pada siklus II tercapai secara klasikal karena jumlah murid yang tuntas lebih dari 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diatas, dapat disimpulkan keterampilan menulis permulaan kelas I SDN 261 Siengkang Kabupaten Wajo melalui penerapan media gambar mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Articulate Storyline-Based Interactive Learning Media on the Science Learning Motivation of Class VIII Students at SMPN 1 Bontonompo. This type of research is quantitative or experimental research (Pre Experiment) with a One Group Pretest- Posttest design. The population in this study were all students in class VIII E of SMPN 1 Bontonompo which consisted of 6 classes with a total of 176 students. The sample in this research was class VIII E students with a total of 26 students, who were selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation.

Abstract

The use of learning media limited to blackboards and printed books can decrease student interest and participation. To address this, innovation with more interactive learning media is needed. Multimedia flipbooks are considered an alternative that can enhance student engagement and science literacy in the classroom. This study aims to assess the impact of using flipbooks on the science literacy of 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. The research employs a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest model. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS. The study involved 78 8th-grade students. Analysis results indicate that pretest and posttest data meet the normality test requirement (p ≥ 0.05), which is a prerequisite for hypothesis testing. The average science literacy scores are normally distributed. The analysis shows that the use of flipbooks has a positive and effective impact on improving students' science literacy, as evidenced by the t-value (72.449) being greater than the t-table value (1.664). The conclusion is that flipbooks positively influence the science literacy of 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa.
