Abstract

This article describes the transformation of Aswaja's ideology through the pesantren. History that can not be avoided is teaching in pesantren which is closely related to the sustainability of Aswaja's understanding. But unfortunately the studies that have emerged have still not identified intlectual biography carefully the architects of the pesantren and have not explained the core of their teachings. Therefore, this study tries to open the curtain of knowledge about Aswaja doctrine in Islamic boarding schools. The results of this study indicate that the spread of Aswaja's ideology embraced in the NU boarding school is caused by solidarity that has deep roots and the integrity of its pesantren kiai. The ideological sources are the legacy of Wali Songo and also the works of the pesantren kiai affiliated with Aswaja's understanding. The paradigm used is that the understanding of the concept of Aswaja is flexible and moderate, awareness forms the organization, and the doctrine of Usul Fiqh is developed.

Abstract

Several studies have explored esports games, and few have examined esports games in elementary schools with a systematic literature review. This research explores articles on the concept, features, training, implementation, and impact of esports games in elementary schools. The SLR and PRISMA methods were applied in this research with the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion assisted by the Publish or Perish 7, VOS viewer, and NVIVO 12 Plus applications. There were 521 Scopus-indexed articles found. Furthermore, the articles were filtered according to the theme into 50 pieces. The findings of relevant topics are esports, esports games, the concept of esports games, elementary school, etc. The 50 articles were analyzed according to the specified topics through the NVIVO 12 Plus application, and the results were described. The findings of this study state that esports games are digital innovations in online video competitions, such as tournaments developing in education. The features of esports games in elementary school are manual sports integrated with digital augmentation, multiplayer and competitive, digitalization of physical sports, new digital-based features, and educational games, such as LoL (MOBA), Battle Royal, FIFA EA Sports, Mobile Legend, WISE game, and others. Training esports games through socialization, education, workshops, GDLC, curriculum development, and multimedia esports games. Implementation of esports games through competition, entertainment, game-based multimedia, SE, and TGfU, has positive and negative impacts. This research has limitations in that it only collects information from current literature, reviews esports at the elementary school level, and is not a field study. Future research needs to examine esports games according to the times in elementary school.

Abstract

This article investigates the principal's strategies for enhancing the quality of education through human resource management at MTs Al Anwar Sarang. The school faces several challenges, including teacher discipline, the mismatch between academic qualifications and teaching assignments, and the mastery of learning methods and media. A qualitative research method was employed, involving in-depth interviews to gather data on the strategies used by the school principal to improve education quality. Interviewees included principals, educators, education personnel, and other relevant parties. The data were analyzed using data condensation techniques as described by Miles and Huberman, followed by presentation and conclusion drawing. The study revealed that the principal implemented several effective strategies. These included granting educators the freedom to develop professionally, providing motivation and support, delegating training responsibilities, and involving resource persons. Additional support was given through adequate facilities, sufficient time, family meetings, and rewards. These strategies led to improvements in individual skills and fostered a dynamic, collaborative, and reward-focused school environment. Specifically, they enhanced educator discipline, improved the quality of teaching, and bolstered mastery of learning methods and media. The findings suggest that the principal’s policies, which promote autonomy and professional development, significantly contribute to educational improvements. Furthermore, the strategies created a positive atmosphere and a solid community of educators, supporting sustainable growth for the entire educational team. This study provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers into how strategic human resource management can enhance education quality. Abstract

This study investigates the role of teachers in enhancing Quranic reading skills among sixth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurussalam, focusing on their roles as motivators and evaluators. Using a qualitative field approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research aims to understand how teachers contribute to improving students' Quranic reading skills, while examining their influence as motivators and evaluators. The findings indicate that teachers play a vital role in guiding students towards achieving the set goals for Quranic reading. As motivators, teachers encourage students by offering rewards or points for each achievement, creating a positive learning atmosphere that promotes continuous improvement. These incentives enhance students' enthusiasm and engagement in learning. In addition to motivating students, teachers also serve as evaluators. They assess students’ Quranic reading abilities through regular evaluations, which help determine the effectiveness of teaching methods and students’ progress. This evaluative role is essential in identifying areas where students need further assistance and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly. Evaluations also provide teachers with insights into the students' learning outcomes, enabling them to refine their approach. Furthermore, the evaluation process allows teachers to prepare comprehensive reports on students' progress, which are shared with parents and school administrators. These reports play an important role in ensuring students receive the necessary support. Overall, the study highlights the critical role of teachers as both motivators and evaluators in improving Quranic reading skills and fostering effective learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurussalam

Abstract

The development of higher education curricula in Indonesia faces challenges in adapting to globalization, technological advancements, and industrial demands while preserving local and religious values. This study analyzes the curriculum development model based on the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) at Islamic higher education institutions with a pesantren-based approach, using STAI Al-Anwar Sarang Rembang as a case study. It identifies key issues such as limited human resources understanding KKNI concepts, insufficient expert guidance, and inadequate budgets and infrastructure as major obstacles to curriculum implementation. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of institutional documents. Data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that integrating pesantren values with KKNI-based learning outcomes has been collaboratively designed, although implementation remains suboptimal. Major challenges include a lack of training for lecturers, limited information technology infrastructure, and unsystematic evaluations. However, the study also highlights significant potential for curriculum improvement through expert support, regular training, and enhanced infrastructure. This research provides significant implications for curriculum development in pesantren-based institutions by emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach that integrates traditional education with modern demands. In conclusion, despite numerous challenges, the KKNI-based pesantren curriculum holds great potential to produce graduates who are academically competent, professionally skilled, and deeply rooted in strong moral values.
