Abstract

Mathematics learning is often perceived as difficult by students due to its abstract nature and the need for strong logical thinking and visualization skills, particularly in geometry topics such as solid shapes. Many students struggle to grasp three-dimensional concepts through verbal explanations or static textbook images alone. Therefore, there is a need for innovative teaching materials that can bridge conceptual understanding in a more concrete and engaging way. This study aims to develop mathematics teaching materials using the GeoGebra application for the topic of solid geometry to enhance student engagement in the learning process. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation process involved experts in subject matter, design, and media. The research subjects consisted of 30 eighth-grade students and a mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Uwapa. Two instruments were used: expert validation questionnaires and practicality questionnaires for both teachers and students. All instruments utilized a Likert scale for quantitative data analysis regarding the validity and practicality of the teaching materials. Based on the research findings, the developed mathematics teaching materials received validation scores of 94.40% from subject matter experts, 97.25% from design experts, and 84.00% from media experts, classifying them as highly valid. After validation, the materials were tested on students, yielding practicality scores of 94.71% for individual trials, 94.47% for small group trials, and 92.09% for large group trials, categorizing them as highly practical.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether bank risk (financing/credit risk, liquidity risk and operating risk) had an impact on Income Smoothing (measured through Loan Loss Provisions) in Indonesia Islamic Commercial Banks or not. The research sample used 11 Indonesia Islamic Commercial Banks that established before 2015 and listed in Financial Services Authority (OJK) From 2015-2019. 11 Samples were taken using purposive sampling. The data used are secondary data from quarterly financial report, 220 in total. Hypothesis testing is done by using panel data regression method. Based on the analysis that have been made, the results shows that the financing/credit risk and liquidity risk had no impact on income smoothing. Operating risk had negative effect. While Total Loans as control variable affected dependent variable. For the size, as other control variable, do not affect the dependent varible. This study contributes to enrich the literature about income smoothing and bank risk, especially regarding operational risk which is less discussed than financing and liquidity risk.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the promotional strategy of CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru in increasing the number of domestic tour package sales and to determine the perception of guests (consumers) about the promotion of domestic tour packages at CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru. This research is located at CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru will be held from November 2023 to February 2024. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type, with the population in this study being the staff at CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru and guests (consumers), and the research sample is 1 company leader, 1 promotion staff and 94 guests (consumers). The results of this study state that the promotional strategy of CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru in increasing the number of domestic tour package sales has been going well, namely the seven promotional mixes have been implemented, namely sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publicity, online marketing, mobile marketing, direct marketing, and personal sales. Guest (consumer) perceptions of domestic tour package promotions at CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru 4.10 is categorized as good to attract potential guests (consumers) to use the services of CV. Bilava Tour & Travel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Students' environmental knowledge is strongly related to environmental attitudes and behavior changes, which impact environmental sustainability. Game media is one of the student environmental learning methods. The study aims to evaluate two types of games (Ladder climbing and Trash trees) to increase elementary school students' knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) in waste sorting. The study used a non-equivalent control group design involving 156 elementary school students in grades 4 and 5. All participants were grouped into ladder climbing games/LCG (n=156) and trash trees/TTG (n=156), then an assessment of knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) before and after the trial. All data were analyzed with statistical software (Alpha=0.05), with the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The N-Gain scores test is also applied to get the effectiveness value. The study found that most participants were aged 10 and 11 years (88.8%), and there were more female students (55.2%) than males. LCG intervention improves KAP (135.45%, 47.71%, and 92.59%) more than TTG (54.39%, 21.95%, and 54.51%). Significantly, there were differences in KAP values before and after the intervention and between the two types of intervention (p-value <0.05). Study has also found that the LCG method is more effective than the TTG (N-Gain score > 70%). The study has proven that the game method (LCG and TTG) can improve students' KAP in waste sorting. However, the LCG method is more effective than the TTG. The game method is a wise choice to apply to elementary school education so that it is expected to shape environmental behavior.

Abstract

Pernikahan merupakan sunnatullah yang umum dan berlaku pada semua makhluk-Nya, baik pada manusia, hewan maupun tumbuh-tumbuhan, dan suatu cara yang dipilih oleh Allah SWT sebagai jalan bagi makhluk-Nya untuk berkembang biak, dan melestarikan hidupnya. Pernikahan akan berperan setelah masing-masing pasangan siap melakukan peranannya yang positif dalam mewujudkan tujuan dari pernikahan itu sendiri. Termasuk dalam hal kafa’ah. Pasangan suami istri harus mampu mengaktualisasikannya dalam membangun keharmonisan rumah tangga, sehingga tercapai tujuan pernikahan yaitu sakinah,mawaddah wa rahmah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan membaca permulaan yang dialami siswa kelas II di SD N Karangtengah I Giricahyo, Purwosari, Gunungkidul, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebabnya, serta merumuskan solusi untuk mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, tes membaca, wawancara guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman, meliputi pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca permulaan ditandai dengan lambatnya pengenalan huruf, kesalahan dalam membedakan huruf mirip, serta rendahnya keterampilan menghubungkan huruf dengan bunyi, yang berdampak pada kelancaran membaca dan pemahaman teks. Tes Egra mengungkapkan bahwa 37,50% siswa berada pada kategori kurang, sementara hanya 12,50% yang masuk kategori sangat baik. Faktor penyebab meliputi rendahnya motivasi dan minat membaca, minimnya dukungan orang tua, serta hambatan teknis seperti kesulitan mengeja dan membedakan huruf. Selain itu, metode pengajaran yang kurang menarik turut memperburuk kondisi tersebut. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup kegiatan membaca rutin, penerapan metode eja untuk meningkatkan keterampilan fonemik, pemberian les tambahan, serta pelibatan orang tua dalam mendukung literasi anak. Sekolah juga disarankan menyediakan fasilitas seperti pojok baca dan mengintegrasikan kegiatan literasi sebelum pembelajaran. Sinergi antara guru, orang tua, dan sekolah menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Kesulitan Membaca Permulaan, Siswa Kelas II SD.

Abstract

Abstract:  This community service programme aims to produce a blueprint for a culture- and environment-based digital madrasah model as a strategic guideline for the development of sustainable digital education at MAN 4 Tanah Datar. The community service method uses a participatory qualitative approach with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework, which emphasises the exploration and optimisation of local assets and potential as the basis for the madrasah's digital transformation. This approach was chosen to ensure that the development process did not start from a perspective of deficiency, but rather from the social, cultural, and environmental strengths that the madrasah community already possessed. The ABCD stages include defining, discovering, dreaming, asset mapping, linking and mobilising assets, and monitoring, which were carried out collaboratively with teachers, madrasah leaders, students, and community leaders. Data collection is carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentation studies to gain a comprehensive understanding of the conditions, potential, and challenges of madrasah digitalisation. The entire process is reinforced by the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) to develop systematic, measurable, and sustainable programme planning. The combination of ABCD and LFA enables the development of a contextual, participatory blueprint for digital madrasahs that is in line with cultural values and environmental concerns.Abstrak: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah blueprint model madrasah digital berbasis budaya dan lingkungan sebagai pedoman strategis pengembangan pendidikan digital berkelanjutan di MAN 4 Tanah Datar. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif partisipatif dengan kerangka Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menekankan penggalian dan optimalisasi aset serta potensi lokal sebagai dasar transformasi digital madrasah. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memastikan proses pengembangan tidak berangkat dari perspektif kekurangan, melainkan dari kekuatan sosial, budaya, dan lingkungan yang telah dimiliki komunitas madrasah. Tahapan ABCD meliputi define, discovery, dream, asset mapping, linking and mobilizing assets, serta monitoring, yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif bersama guru, pimpinan madrasah, siswa, dan tokoh masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), serta studi dokumentasi guna memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif terkait kondisi, potensi, dan tantangan digitalisasi madrasah. Seluruh proses tersebut diperkuat dengan Logical Framework Approach (LFA) untuk menyusun perencanaan program yang sistematis, terukur, dan berkelanjutan. Kombinasi ABCD dan LFA memungkinkan penyusunan blueprint madrasah digital yang kontekstual, partisipatif, dan selaras dengan nilai budaya serta kepedulian lingkungan.
