Abstract

Employees are human resources who play an important role in determining the performance achievements of a company. Employees with good performance are employees who have several characteristics such as being disciplined, responsible, and able to work together. To find out employee performance, monitoring is necessary, such as monitoring employee attendance in the office. Unfortunately, PT. Arhanindo Pratama does not currently have a system for daily attendance, making it difficult to monitor employee attendance. This can cause employees to deliberately come in late or even not show up. Employee absences lead to a lack of collaboration and discussion, hindering project progress. Monitoring project progress is also difficult due to lack of information about the project from absent employees. Based on these problems, research was carried out by creating an Android-based employee monitoring and project development application. Employees will be able to check in and out, view history, and see a list of ongoing projects. The application will be created using the Kotlin programming language and tested in four aspects consisting of functionality, portability, compatibility and usability. The results of functionality testing are that all functionality was successfully tested with a feasibility percentage of 100%. In portability testing, the results showed that the application can run on various devices and different versions of Android. Compatibility testing shows that the application can run in split-screen mode. Then, usability testing was carried out using UEQ which showed excellent results, namely attractiveness with a value of 2.37, perspicuity with a value of 2.27, efficiency with a value of 2.20, dependability with a value of 2.15, stimulation with a value of 2.22, and novelty with a value of 2.15.

Abstract

The study investigated the relationship between the UV Index and measurements of ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation to evaluate the effectiveness of the UV Index in predicting and understanding UV radiation at the surface. The implications of this study are significant for public health policies and UV protection strategies. This study used a variety of statistical analyses and modelling techniques, including ANOVA, Naive Bayes classification, decision trees, artificial neural networks, support vector machines (SVM), and k-means clustering, to examine relationships and predict UV Index values. ANOVA analysis showed a significant relationship between the UV Index and UVA and UVB measurements. Prediction models such as Naive Bayes classification, decision trees, and artificial neural networks showed variability in their accuracy. Notably, SVM showed a high degree of accuracy in predicting UV Index values, while k-means clustering effectively clustered the data based on similarities in UV Index and UV measurements. These findings confirm that the UV Index is a reliable indicator for predicting and understanding UV radiation levels at the Earth's surface. This research underscores the importance of developing more accurate and precise UV Index prediction models. Further investigation is essential to understand the temporal variations and environmental impacts on the UV Index, as well as the broader implications of UV exposure on public health. This study lays a strong foundation for the development of early warning systems and more effective UV protection strategies, ultimately improving public health outcomes and safety measures against UV radiation.

Abstract

Jangkrik, serangga kecil yang dikenal dengan suara khasnya, sering terdengar di malam hari. Masyarakat membudidayakan jangkrik karena potensi ekonominya sebagai pakan ternak, bahan makanan, obat-obatan, dan kosmetik. Dalam budidaya jangkrik, pembiakan telur menjadi cara untuk mempertahankan regenerasi jangkrik. Faktor lingkungan seperti suhu dan kelembaban dapat mempengaruhi menetasnya telur jangkrik. PeternakJangkrik harus rutin memeriksa suhu dan kelembaban kandang, menyalakan lampu atau kipas sesuai kebutuhan. Maka, diciptakan alat "Sistem Monitoring Suhu dan Kelembaban Pada Mesin Pembiakan Telur Jangkrik Berbasis IoT". Alat ini menggunakan DHT22 dan RTC untuk mendeteksi suhu, kelembaban, dan waktu. Data diolah oleh ESP32 dan ditampilkan di LCD, Aplikasi Telegram memberikan notifikasi, dan pengontrolan otomatis/manual untuk lampu, kipas, dan mistmaker. Website memantau kondisi kandang jangkrik. Penelitian berlangsung 7 hari, berhasil menetas 83.25% telur. Metode konvensional hanya mencapai 65.65%. Alat ini membantu meningkatkan keberhasilan penetasan telur jangkrik dan mengatasi kondisi suhu dan kelembaban yang tidak stabil. Hal ini memberikan dampak positif pada produksi jangkrik dan pembudidayaannya secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Posyandu merupakan unit pelayanan kesehatan yang memberikan berbagai layanan kesehatan dasar bagi masyarakat. Posyandu juga merupakan tempat pertama yang bisa dikunjungi masyarakat di tingkat desa atau kelurahan untuk mendapatkan layanan kesehatan dasar, khususnya ibu hamil dan balita. Salah satu bagian penting saat pelaksanaan posyandu adalah pencatatan. Pencatatan data berperan penting untuk pemantauan kesehatan, pembuatan laporan dan evaluasi serta dokumentasi kesehatan masyarakat yang telah diperiksa dan dilayani pada posyandu tersebut sehingga perlu dilakukan dengan efektif, akurat juga memiliki media penyimpanan data yang aman. Aplikasi Posyandu pada penelitian ini dibangun dengan memanfaatkan Pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang dimulai dengan tahapan menganalisa kebutuhan input, proses, output, software dan hardware sistem. Kedua, men-design sistem. Ketiga, implementasi sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan Framework Codeigniter, Framework Bootstrap, dan menggunakan basis data MySQL. Selanjutnya masuk dalam tahap pengujian dan pemeliharaan sistem. Aplikasi dilengkapi dengan fitur Kelola data pengguna sistem, Kelola data identitas dan pemeriksaan balita, Grafik Perkembangan Balita, Kelola data identitas dan pemeriksaan ibu hamil, Notifikasi sebagai Pengingat jadwal imunisasi balita dan notifikasi pengingat jadwal periksa kesehatan selama masa kandungan bagi ibu hamil yang dikirim melalui aplikasi WhatsApp, dan cetak atau unduh laporan pemeriksaan ibu hamil dan balita.

Abstract

With the progress of industry, power electronic equipment is widely used in power system, it has produced serious harmonic distortion. It goes without saying that harmonic analysis is a very important subject in power system. The influence of harmonics dominant because it is permanent. This harmonic influence spread to energy systems, energy devices, and influential to the energy source. For that, it is necessary a tool that is able to overcome these problems so that the electric energy services are not compromised and the reliability was not reduced. This study how to harmonic analysis, total harmonic distortion, and identifying the inverter at a solar power plant 320WP in accordance with the IEEE 519-2014.

Abstract

The problem of forest and peatland fires in Riau has become main topic to prioritize its revamping. Land and forest fires in Riau until reached 3,700 hectares area, happened in some last years,.Forest and peatland fires occured in the majority of districts in Riau Province, from low category of 4 hectares until 2,800 hectares. This researchdiscusses aboutanalysis of controlling wirelessTemperature Sensor for monitoring Peat-Land fire by using LM35 Temperature Sensor, Transmitter-Module (HC-12), Receiver-Module (HC-12), Arduino-ProMini to produce outputs on LED, LCD, Buzzer. Detector of Peat-Land fire works when it is burning, so heat will spread through aluminium stalk and be read by Temperature-Sensor1 upto Temperature-Sensor4. Output of each sensor is sent to each control block of Arduino-ProMini in Transmitter-Module(FU1–FU4). From Arduino-ProMini, it is sent toReceiver-Module(FU5). Receiver-Module only receives one data from Transmitter-Module in one time. Every data is received by Receiver-Module goes to Arduino-ProMini, processed to produce outputs on LCD that shows ID of FU1–FU4, Peat-Land Status, temperature of Peat Land. If LED is Green, Peat-Land not burned, LED shows SAFE Condition, Buzzer Off. If LED is Yellow, Peat-Land burned underground, LED shows BE-CAREFUL Condition, Buzzer On. If LED is Red, Peat-Land burned on the ground, LED shows DANGER Condition, Buzzer On. Temperature 0°C–21.9°Cis SAFE Category because Peat-Land not burned. Temperature 22°C–28.4°Cis BE-CAREFUL Category because Peat-Land burned underground. Temperature 28.4°C–50°Cis DANGER Category because Peat-Land burned on the ground. This equipment works as its frame work.

Abstract

Reliability of Electrical Power Distribution to consumer is strongly influenced by its distribution system. Therefore, electrical power distribution system with high reliability is needed. In distribution of electrical power, reliability level of distribution system is very necessary, because it is influential strongly factor towards continuity of electrical energy distribution to consumers. Parameters can be used to determine reliability level of Electrical Power Distribution System are SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI. SCADA on Electrical Power Ditribution System is needed because it can monitor, control, configure and record working system real time. Besides it, SCADA also can handle interruption temporary or permanently in short time by using remote. Aim of this research is to compare distribution system reliability indexes such as SAIFI, SAIDI and CAIDI before and after integrated with SCADA in Bukittinggi Rayon of PT PLN (Persero), Western Sumatera, Indonesia. This research uses Distribution System Data from 2015 and 2016. Result of this rresearch is Realibility Indexes before Integrated with SCADA(2015) are 15.40 hours/customer, 46.36 interruption/year, 0.33 hour/year, while after Integrated with SCADA(2016) are 2.14 hours/customer, 22.41 interruption/year, 0.10 hour/year. for SAIDI, SAIFI CAIDI Indexes respectivel y. It can be concluded that The increase of Reliability Index after integrated with SCADA are 86.1% for SAIDI, 51.66% for SAIFI, 69.7% for CAIDI.

Abstract

Nowadays, utilization of internet services is very important to do all jobs online, especially in pandemic of Corona Virus, whereas all employees from every institution must work from home. Therefore, the number of people using internet services increased dramatically. However, availability of internet network is not enough to complete those tasks. The other mainly important role to arrange all these chores is quality of service of its internet. In addition, other ordinary activity which must be prepared to execute is streaming video about many things. Consequently, all those workers must use YouTube application. Aim of this paper is to determine quality of service in internet network of one private Internet Service Provider company in Pekanbaru, related to real conditions on each of 40 clients, Outputs of this study is qualification of each Throughput, Delay, Packet Loss and QoS Parameters based on TIPHON. Results of the research show that QoS Parameters in this Internet Service Provider are Unsatisfied and tends to be Bad because there are only two users who obtain Satisfied, none of clients procure Very Satisfied, 25 clients experience Bad quality and 13 users face Unsatisfied category when using the internet network.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of the Indonesian people. Rice is produced through a lenghty process. One crucial stage of the post-harvest process is the drying of rice. The decline in rice production occurs at this drying stage. This research designs a tool that can dry rice automatically in order to facilitate the drying process of rice grain. This tool uses a DHT22 sensor as a temperature and humidity detection sensor. The Power Window motor is used as a driver of the rice  rain stirring shaft that is being dried, while the Blower and Heater as a heater. This tool is equipped with NodeMCU as a microcontroller to send signals to the Telegram application on a smartphone so that status notifications on the LCD of this tool can be seen through a long distance. Testing of this tool is carried out on rice weighing 5 kg and 10 kg with a test time of 3 consecutive days. Drying is done in the morning and afternoon.  Rice drying tests in the morning for 5 kg of grain are 32 minutes, 41 minutes, and 45 minutes, then 45 minutes, 55 minutes and 55 minutes for 10 kg of grain.  In the afternoon, 27 minutes, 25 minutes and 29 minutes for 5 kg of grain, and 42 minutes, 38 minutes and 36 minutes for 10 kg of grain. The average grain shrinkage during the drying process in the test period was 7,5 percent for 5 kg of grain and 7,7 percent for 10 kg of grain ABSTRAK; Beras merupakan makanan pokok masyarakat Indonesia. Beras dihasilkan dengan proses yang panjang. Tahapan proses pasca panen yang sangat penting adalah pengeringan gabah padi. Penurunan produksi beras banyak terjadi pada tahapan pengeringan ini. Penelitian ini merancang alat yang dapat mengeringkan padi secara otomatis agar dapat mempermudah proses pengeringan terhadap gabah padi. Alat ini menggunakan Sensor DHT22 sebagai sensor pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban. Motor Power Window digunakan untuk penggerak poros pengaduk gabah padi yang sedang dikeringkan, sedangkan Blower dan Heater sebagai pemanas. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan NodeMCU sebagai mikrokontroller untuk mengirim sinyal ke aplikasi Telegram pada smartphone sehingga notifikasi status pada LCD alat ini bisa dilihat melalui jarak yang jauh. Pengujian alat ini dilakukan pada padi seberat 5 kg dan 10 kg dengan  lama waktu pengujian 3 hari berturut-turut. Pengeringan dilakukan pada saat pagi dan siang hari.  Pengujian pengeringan padi pagi hari untuk 5 kg gabah yaitu 32 menit, 41 menit, dan 45 menit,  kemudian 45 menit, 55 menit dan 55 menit untuk gabah 10 kg.  Pada siang hari yaitu 27 menit,25 menit dan 29 menit untuk gabah 5 kg, dan 42 menit, 38 menit dan 36 menit untuk gabah 10 kg. Penyusutan gabah rata-rata selama proses pengeringan dalam periode pengujian alat, yaitu sebesar 7,5 persen untuk gabah seberat 5 Kg dan 7,7 persen untuk gabah seberat 10 Kg.

Abstract

Agency of Asset Cultivation and One Door Integrated Service of Pekanbaru City is an organizer of One Door Integrated Service to handle various businesses of Government in city area. To enhance the quality of public service, so Government of Pekanbaru City forms region set, such as internet media as a main necessity in performing each someone’s work. Hotspot is a wireless internet network that can be accessed by all electronic sets, like as Personal Computer (PC), laptop, tablet and cellular phone. Hotspot also can be used in supporting daily activities to send data packet in certain amount through those electronic sets. Aim of this service is to build up Hotspot Server Networks Agency of Asset Cultivation and One Door Integrated Service of Pekanbaru City to improve public service in the framework to fulfill every body’s basic to conduct every person’s job. Method of this service is a series of activities such as Survey, Interview and Designing of Hotspot Server Network. This service succeed well. The result of this service shows that Bandwidth used for Uploding File are 0.35 Mbps and 0.29 Mbps for Downloading File.
