Abstract

Visual communication design is one application for creating a good image for Jasdam II Sriwijaya, the concept of communication and expression of creative power, which is applied in various visual communication media by processing graphic design elements consisting of images (illustrations), letters, colors, composition and layout. All of this is done to convey messages visually, audio and audio-visually to the intended targets. Instagram media is an alternative media for publishing information on activities at Jasdam II Sriwijaya. The aim of community service activities is to provide assistance. The community service method is through mentoring through 1) preparation, 2) implementation and 3) evaluation. The result of community service activities is that there is an increase in visits to Jasdam II/Sriwijaya due to seeing Jasdam II/Sriwijaya Instagram posts and Instagram story followers, likers and viewers also increase. After carrying out this community service activity, the community service team had a positive impact in introducing the Jasdam II/Sriwijaya environment to the community.

Abstract

Matematika memiliki peran penting dalam memecahkan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari, dan konsep himpunan adalah dasar untuk memahami logika matematika. Belajar tentang himpunan diharapkan bisa membantu kita berpikir lebih logis. Diagram Venn, sebagai alat bantu visual, terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep himpunan dan meningkatkan kemampuan logika matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa efektif Diagram Venn dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep himpunan dan logika matematika. Dengan metode kajian literatur sistematis, berbagai penelitian tentang penggunaan Diagram Venn ditinjau untuk menyusun pemahaman tentang efektivitasnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Diagram Venn dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan. Diagram Venn membantu mengurangi kesalahan konseptual, meningkatkan retensi, dan mempermudah pemahaman operasi seperti konjungsi, disjungsi, dan implikasi. Namun, ada beberapa tantangan, seperti kesulitan siswa dalam memahami operasi himpunan yang lebih kompleks. Kajian ini menyarankan integrasi Diagram Venn dalam pembelajaran berbasis visual yang lebih interaktif untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa. Selain itu, pelatihan bagi guru untuk memaksimalkan manfaat alat ini dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication of purun mats in the sub-district of Pedamaran. The theory used is Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, then the object of research was in the sub-district of Pendamaran while the research subjects were village heads, community leaders, purun mat craftsmen and the community. The result of this study is that marketing that is still traditional relying on middlemen (people to people) cannot be known directly by many people and is an obstacle to the progress of mat weaving marketing and through existing networks, for example, brought to collectors to be taken out of town and only use Facebook social media in marketing
