Abstract

Berdasarkan beberapa fenomena yang mucul di lembaga pendidikan yang mengindikasikan bahwa kompetensi pedadogik guru masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana seharusnya peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedadogik guru. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode campuran dilakukan berdasarkan pedoman dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara pada 261 orang guru, sedangkan informan untuk menjawab pertanyaan dalam wawancara dilakukan pada 12 orang guru. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan Paket Statistik Ilmu Sosial sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin pendidikan masih berada pada tingkat sedang, dan aspek kompetensi pedagogik guru di SMK Negeri Padang masih berada pada tingkat sedang. Penelitian ini juga menetapkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin pendidikan secara signifikan mempengaruhi kompetensi pedagogik guru. Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepala sekolah harus lebih aktif dan kreatif berkolaborasi dengan guru dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan untuk melakukan perbaikan  kompetensi pedadogik guru.

Abstract

The principal is the highest leader in an educational institution, has an important role in increasing the work motivation of educational staff. Leadership is the key to effective educational implementation. School principals can lead schools towards improving quality and service by choosing the right leadership style. This research examines the leadership style of school principals to increase the work motivation of educational staff. This research uses a systematic literature review. The results of this research are that the school principal's leadership style on the performance of educational staff has a big influence which includes several aspects of the principal's leadership style, namely: (a) the daily behavior of the principal shows an attitude that is caring, open, cheerful, firm, wise, disciplined and committed, as well as stable emotions; (b) assignments are distributed fairly and instructions are provided; (c) decision making is carried out collectively or jointly; and (d) appropriate and consistent supervision. To improve the performance of educational staff, school principals motivate by providing incentives and giving awards.

Abstract

Kajian ini menelaah bagaimana implementasi strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan skema komunikasi yang digunakan berperan dalam mendongkrak semangat (motivasi) mengajar para guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 15 Padang. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana kepala sekolah menerapkan pendekatan kepemimpinan yang efektif serta membangun komunikasi dua arah untuk menciptakan iklim kerja yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta diperkuat dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan kepemimpinan yang bersifat transformasional dan humanis melalui pemberian penghargaan, dukungan moral, serta perhatian personal terhadap guru. Pola komunikasi yang digunakan bersifat terbuka, partisipatif, dan empatik, sehingga menciptakan rasa kebersamaan dan kepercayaan di lingkungan kerja. Hubungan antara kepemimpinan dan komunikasi terbukti berpengaruh langsung terhadap peningkatan motivasi guru dalam melaksanakan tugas profesional. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara kepemimpinan inspiratif dan komunikasi efektif sebagai dasar pembentukan budaya kerja yang produktif dan berkelanjutan di sekolah menengah.

Abstract

The article explains the importance of managing and supervising human resources, especially teachers, in Society 5.0 and the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is full of knowledge of technology and digital-based activities. The principal and the driving/developing teachers did this management and supervision effort. The author observed this, with the school being the main focus, SMAN 1 Merangin. This article uses a qualitative research method by prioritising the process of communication interaction and observation in research and a systematic literature review (SLR) method by collecting other sources regarding HR management and supervision in facing society 5.0 and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 from books, journals and other sources. The challenge faced by SMAN 1 Merangin based on the interview is how to get all teachers, or at least 50% of the teachers at SMAN 1 Merangin, to get a driving teacher certificate and other training certificates so that they can get out of the safe zone and become proficient in information technology. While facing this era, SMAN 1 Merangin teachers adept at technology and good at solving learning problems are appointed to drive teachers and supervise other teachers in collaboration with the school principal to improve performance and catch up with the times.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the management integrative curriculum that has been implemented since 1991 at the Diniyyah Pasia Modern Islamic Boarding School. To explore this information the researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive model with a case study method. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research were observation, interviews, documentation studies, and triangulation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used by researchers is descriptive data analysis. In analyzing qualitative research data related to integrative curriculum management, the researcher used the help of the NVivo 12 Plus application. Data analysis is carried out using the following steps: 1) Import data/data sources, 2) Data coding, 3) Visualization of coding results using Word Frequency Query Result 4) Presentation of results using word cloud, 5) concluding word cloud. Researchers found that Islamic boarding schools that implement an integrative curriculum must begin to consider implementing the Mua'dalah Education Unit curriculum which is expected to be a solution to the many burdens of teachers and students when implementing an integrative curriculum.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the digital AUM Seri-Umum application based on school counselors’ perceptions after attending a structured workshop. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 37 guidance and counseling teachers who participated in the training. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering clarity of materials, ease of use, workshop convenience, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and intention to use, complemented by open-ended responses. Descriptive statistics and thematic coding were employed in the analysis. Findings show that the application was very well received, with a composite mean score of 4.93, indicating highly positive perceptions. Counselors highlighted the clarity of instructions, user-friendly navigation, and strong practical benefits in managing student problems efficiently. Notably, 100% of participants expressed satisfaction and intention to continue using the application, with enthusiasm to join future workshops. These results confirm that the digitalization of AUM Seri-Umum is a strategic innovation supporting more effective, efficient, and data-driven counseling services in schools

Abstract

This purpose of research to see about discipline student coaching by the team of Gerakan Disiplin Sekolah in SMK Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The population of the research was 899 students taken from the population using The Simple Random Sampling Technique. The total number of samples for this research was 90. The research uses the description of the quantitative method. The research instrument was a questionnaire in the form Likert Scale which five choices of answer that have been tested for validity and reliability by using application SPSS 16.0 version. The based on the research (1) discipline student coaching from giving an example by team GDS to the student is in a good enough category (2) discipline student coaching from giving punishment by team GDS to the student is in a good enough category (3) discipline student coaching from giving motivation by team GDS to the student is in a good enough category (4) discipline student coaching from supervision by team GDS to student is in a good enough category.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of principals’ instructional leadership, school support, and work motivation on teachers' professional competence in Padang City’s public junior high schools. A sample of 385 teachers was selected, and data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results revealed that instructional leadership (β = 0.308, p < 0.05) and school support (β = 0.414, p < 0.05) positively impacted teachers' professional competence. Both instructional leadership (β = 0.359, p < 0.05) and school support (β = 0.434, p < 0.05) also significantly influenced work motivation, which in turn enhanced professional competence (β = 0.467, p < 0.05). The study highlights the critical role of leadership and support in fostering motivated teachers, offering practical implications for policymakers and school administrators aiming to improve teacher quality.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah menjadi faktor penting dalam mendorong inovasi pembelajaran dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di tengah tuntutan perubahan pendidikan abad ke-21. Namun, hasil penelitian yang tersedia masih tersebar sehingga belum memberikan sintesis yang komprehensif mengenai strategi kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam praktik sekolah.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi strategi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan inovasi pembelajaran dan mutu pendidikan melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian dilakukan dengan menggunakan protokol PRISMA 2020 yang mencakup tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, penilaian kelayakan, dan inklusi artikel. Data diperoleh dari Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, DOAJ, SINTA, Garuda, dan Open Knowledge Maps dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2021–2026. Dari 59 artikel yang teridentifikasi, sebanyak 10 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil kajian mengidentifikasi enam strategi utama kepemimpinan transformasional, yaitu pemberian motivasi dan inspirasi kepada guru, penguatan kapasitas profesional melalui pelatihan, pemberdayaan guru dalam pengambilan keputusan, pembangunan budaya kolaboratif, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta penguatan sistem monitoring dan evaluasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inovatif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on articulate storylines that are used to increase elementary school students' learning motivation in learning Mathematics.Study This use research methods development (Research and Development or R&D). Research using model study Which adapted from development models ADDIE. This model uses 5 stages that is analysis stage, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Study this is done in 3 schools namely SDN 18, SDN 24 and SDN 30 Payakumbuh City. Province Sumatra West. Data collection was carried out through product validation, interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis in this study is an analysis of product validity, product practicality and product effectiveness.The results of media validation get a value of 82%, from the validation of language experts get a value of 100%, from the validation of construct experts get a value of 95% and from the results of the material validator get a value of 87%. So that the results are 91% and with the description "very valid" and this product is feasible for trials. The average value of the feasibility test for learning media products is 88.5% which is included in the very feasible category. Distributed from field trials in the 3 schools, the results were 91.33% with the category of students having very high motivation in learning mathematics by using articulate storyline learning media.
