Abstract

The increasingly competitive business environment has a negative impact on company performance. Companies are expected to create strategic competitiveness to maintain their competitive advantage and sustain their performance. Strategic change is a company's effort to adapt to a competitive environment. Additionally, changes in the external environment create environmental uncertainty, which can further deteriorate company performance. Therefore, strategic change becomes the primary choice for companies to improve performance when environmental uncertainty increases. This study aims to analyze the effect of strategic change on company performance and the role of environmental uncertainty in moderating this relationship. Using purposive sampling, this study utilizes data from 503 manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. Multiple linear regression and moderated regression analyses are employed as the analytical techniques. The results of this study indicate that strategic change has a positive and significant effect on company performance, and environmental uncertainty strengthens this influence.

Abstract

Background: Chemotherapy is the primary treatment for breast cancer to prevent cancer progression, but health protocols, such as social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, hinder timely treatment. Although many qualitative studies have investigated the experiences of breast cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, few have explored the coping strategies of women undergoing chemotherapy during this time.Purpose: This study explored the coping strategies of women with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods: A qualitative phenomenological design was employed to explore the experiences of women living with breast cancer and their coping mechanisms. Purposive sampling was used to recruit participants who met the following criteria: (1) women diagnosed with breast cancer who had chosen to undergo chemotherapy and (2) women attending chemotherapy sessions at the treatment center. Patients with a history of severe chemotherapy side effects were excluded from the study. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews with 25 participants, and transcripts were analyzed using thematic analysis.Results: Four key themes emerged from the data analysis, including (1) feeling the uncertainty of life, (2) emotional turbulence, (3) surviving under pressure, and (4) accepting the situation. Participants demonstrated positive adaptive coping strategies to manage the challenges of breast cancer and chemotherapy during the COVID-19 pandemic.Conclusion: Surviving and accepting conditions were identified as vital coping mechanisms that help women with breast cancer maintain their quality of life during the COVID-19 pandemic. These strategies play a crucial role in maintaining mental well-being amid uncertain and stressful circumstances.

Abstract

Desa Tlasih, Sidoarjo dikenal dengan banyaknya industri rumah tangga yang memproduksi makanan khas seperti bawang goreng dan camilan tradisional lainnya. Permasalahan utama dalam industri ini adalah masih rendahnya literasi dan implementasi manajemen rantai pasok dan hanya berfokus pada omset penjualan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas implementasi manajemen rantai pasok dari kegiatan pengadaan bahan baku, proses produksi, hingga distribusi. Melalui manajemen rantai pasok yang baik, industri bawang goreng dapat mengamankan pasokan bawang merah sebagai bahan baku utama. Metode pada kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi tiga fase yaitu identifikasi, implementasi dan monitoring serta evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para UKM Bawang Goreng di Desa Tlasih, Kabupaten Sidoarjo meningkatkan literasi tentang manajemen rantai pasok bagi pelaku industri bawang goreng serta pelaku UKM sudah memahami cara mengimplementasikan manajemen rantai pasok industri bawang goreng. Dampak nyata dari kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UKM sudah menerapkan manajemen rantai pasok dalam pengadaan bahan baku, penyimpanan bahan baku, proses produksi bawang goreng, dan distribusi.

Abstract

In the era of digital technology, inclusive communication is important so that the empowerment process can reach all levels of society, including marginalized groups that are often overlooked due to the digital divide. This research aims to analyze the implementation of digital applications in community empowerment in the villages of Ulubelu District, Tanggamus Regency, focusing on the challenges, opportunities, and obstacles faced. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design and data obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data mining was conducted with community leaders, village government, and local people. The results showed that infrastructure barriers, such as inaccessible roads and lack of internet signal, are the main obstacles in optimizing the use of digital applications, such as the Village Information System (SID), SIKS-NG, and other development planning applications. Villages such as Sinar Banten, Rejosari, Ulu Semong, and Petay Kayu face issues related to the accessibility of digital technology and information. In addition, a lack of digital literacy among the community, especially the elderly, and limited training for village officials exacerbate the situation. However, digital applications also have the potential to support transparency, efficiency, and access to information in community empowerment programs with improved technology infrastructure and inclusive digital literacy training. This study reveals the importance of collaboration between the government, village apparatus, and communities in designing sustainable digitalization strategies. This research enriches the literature related to digitalization in rural areas and provides practical recommendations to overcome barriers to technology implementation. The results are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and practitioners to develop a more inclusive approach in supporting digital-based community empowerment in remote areas.

Abstract

Village Development PlanningDeliberation (Musrenbangdes) is an annual meeting of village’s stakeholders to discuss Rural Development Work Plan (RKP Desa) and Village Mid-Term Development Work Plan (RPJM Desa).This study examines community participation in Musrenbangdesand development programs implementation in 2014 in Kebumen village, Sumberejo, Tanggamus. This study using qualitative approach relies on document review, in-depth interview, and observation as data collection methods. Data collected is then analyses by using interactive model suggested by Miles and Huberman.This study shows that the level of community participation Murenbangdes is characerised by the following (1) Public participation by attending the meeting reaches 73%; (2) Public participation by contributing ideas is low; (3) Public participation is categorised as placation, that is, the authority allows citizens to provide inputs, but retains decision-making process in their hand. This study also suggests that community participation in development programs implementation is chaacterised by following: (1) development program has not been implemented effectively and participatively; (2) participation in development programs implementation is categorised as therapy, i.e. level of participation is engineered by some parties to replace pure participation.

Abstract

Siswa memiliki tingkat pemahaman materi yang berbeda-beda, termasuk dalam memahami materi Pendidikan Agama Islam yang monoton menggunakan metode ceramah. Terkadang siswa sulit menangkap apa yang dijelaskan oleh guru khususnya pada materi kompleks seperti fiqih dan materi panjang seperti sejarah kebudayaan islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melakukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran guna menjawab permasalahan siswa terkait pemahaman materi. Inovasi yang akan dibahas dalam artikel ini merupakan pengembangan media audiovisual untuk Pendidikan Agama Islam(PAI). Metode penelitian menggunakan kajian pustaka (library research) yang dikumpulkan dari buku dan jurnal. Dengan pengembangan inovasi media audiovisual, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih memahami materi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan memberikan suasana baru dalam pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan perkembangan teknologi, pengaksesan media audivisual dalam pembelajaran semakin mudah. Situs paling popular yang menyediakan akses media audiovisual yaitu Youtobe. Peran pendidik dalam pemutaran video pembelajaran sebagai pembimbing. Sehingga dengan media ini dapat membentuk efektifitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh interaktivitas dalam live streaming terhadap kepercayaan, persepsi kesenangan, dan niat pembelian impulsif. Pendekatan metodologi yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausal. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online yang melibatkan 107 responden, dan analisis dilakukan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data responden, interaktivitas mampu menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan dan kesenangan yang dirasakan oleh pelanggan selama menonton Shopee Live. Persepsi kesenangan terbukti dapat memediasi hubungan antara interaktivitas dan niat pembelian impulsif. Namun, temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh interaktivitas dan kepercayaan terhadap niat pembelian impulsif tidak sepenuhnya signifikan. Oleh karena itu, penjual dapat memanfaatkan strategi interaktif yang didesain dengan cermat untuk menciptakan pengalaman yang memikat bagi pelanggan, membangun kepercayaan, serta mendorong keinginan untuk melakukan pembelian secara impulsif.

Abstract

Desain Merek, labeling, dan kemasan merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan dan memasarkan produk. Pelaku UMKM masih banyak yang kurang paham bagaimana cara untuk mengembangkan produknya sehingga dikenal oleh konsumen. Ada banyak UMKM di Kecamatan Asemrowo dengan berbagai produk UMKM, penurunan penjualan bahkan mati. Untuk itu tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan UMKM di Kecamatan Asemrowo melalui Pengembangan kemampuan UMKM melalui platform desain merek, labeling, dan kemasan produk. Mitra usaha yakni para pelaku UMKM yang terdiri dari pengusaha makanan yang terus berinovasi dalam memasarkan produk secara digital melalui desain merek, labeling dan kemasan yang unik untuk menarik perhatian pelanggan. Kegiatan implementasi dari pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui tahapan survei mitra, pelatihan dan pendampingan, pembuatan desain merek, labeling dan kemasan unik di UMKM Kecamatan Asemrowo, dan evaluasi atas implementasi untuk memperluas cakupan penjualan dan keberlangsungan usaha di tengah tantangan persaingan dan lesunya perekonomian saat ini. Dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, para pelaku UMKM memahami pentingnya design merk dan kemasan, serta berencana untuk membuat design merk dan kemasan yang lebih menarik.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly difficult economic challenges, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially bamboo craftsmen, are faced with the need to sell and market products online in order to survive. Although many products produced by bamboo artisan MSMEs have quality, the limited location far from the city center and the lack of understanding about online sales cause a lack of interest from consumers. Therefore, the purpose of this service program is to provide training and assistance to MSMEs in Sukolilo Village, Lamongan, especially bamboo craftsmen, in using digital marketing strategies by utilizing the Shopee platform. The community service implementation method consists of 4 stages, namely identification, training and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and the impact of the community service. The results of the community service found that this digital marketing strategy can provide various benefits, ranging from increasing brand awareness to increasing online sales turnover. The implementation of digital marketing involves the stages of partner surveys, training and mentoring, the creation of social media specifically for MSME Bamboo Craftsmen in Sukolilo Village, Lamongan Regency, and evaluation of the implementation of digital marketing to expand sales reach and maintain business continuity amidst competition and the current sluggish economic conditions. The impact of this community service is that bamboo craftsmen understand the importance of digital marketing.

Abstract

Persaingan antar perusahaan yang semakin ketat menyebabkan semakin tingginya biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan, Apabila perusahaan tidak dapat bersaing maka perusahaan akan mengalami kerugian yang pada akhirnya dapat mengalami financial distress. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, dan leverage terhadap financial distress. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel berasal dari perusahaan subsektor food and beverage periode tahun 2019-2021 dengan total 96 sampel. Dari hasil analisis mengungkapkan likuiditas dan leverage berpengaruh terhadap financial distress sedangkan profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh.
