Abstract

In the digital era, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are required to adapt to technology to improve competitiveness in the global market. One effective strategy is the utilization of digital platforms for online product promotion. This webinar and workshop activity aims to provide MSME players with an understanding of the use of CapCut, Canva, and TikTok Shop as digital marketing tools. The webinar discussed the basic theory of digital marketing strategies, while the workshop provided hands-on practice in creating promotional content using the three platforms. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of participants' understanding. The results showed that 70% of participants experienced an increase in understanding, and 85% of participants were satisfied and very satisfied with the material presented. This activity proves that the utilization of digital technology can help MSMEs in increasing their visibility and market reach more broadly.

Abstract

The Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) concept is one of the four basic operations in data management for web applications. However, there are still people, especially students and beginners in the field of information technology, who do not understand the CRUD workflow systematically, making it difficult for them to build web applications that are integrated with databases. This community service activity aims to improve participants' understanding and skills in applying CRUD logic using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. The implementation method was carried out through webinars to reinforce theoretical understanding and workshops for hands-on practice. The activity was conducted online and attended by 48 participants from universities. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests, post- tests, and feedback questionnaires. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average test score of participants from 64 to 85 percent, an average increase of 32.8%. Meanwhile, the satisfaction level results showed that 39.6% agreed and 47.9% strongly agreed. Thus, this activity was able to improve the basic understanding and skills of web application data management.

Abstract

Abstract

Network forensic investigations rely heavily on the integrity and traceability of Packet Capture (PCAP) files as primary digital evidence. Digital Forensic Research Workshop (DFRWS) implementations commonly employ centralized preservation mechanisms that remain vulnerable to unauthorized modification and provide limited provenance transparency. To address these limitations, this study proposes a blockchain-based preservation framework integrated into the preservation phase of the DFRWS model. The framework combines SHA-256 cryptographic hashing for integrity verification, blockchain-based provenance logging, and distributed ledger validation while maintaining off-chain evidence storage. Unlike many existing blockchain-based forensic frameworks that primarily emphasize provenance recording and chain-of-custody management, this study evaluates evidence preservation through an integrated validation approach consisting of controlled tampering simulation, cryptographic sensitivity analysis, and preservation latency measurement. Experimental evaluation using PCAP datasets representing attack and baseline traffic conditions demonstrated that unauthorized evidence modification was successfully detected through hash inconsistencies. Avalanche Effect analysis produced a value of 50.39%, confirming the strong cryptographic sensitivity of the SHA-256 mechanism to minimal data alteration. While SHA-256 enables reliable tampering detection, the integrated blockchain architecture provides tamper-resistant provenance recording, chain-of-custody traceability, and distributed verification of evidence integrity. The framework achieved an average preservation latency of 2.057 seconds within the experimental environment, providing preliminary evidence of feasibility for blockchain-assisted forensic logging under controlled conditions. Although no direct comparison with alternative preservation approaches was conducted, the findings provide a proof-of-concept validation and contribute empirical evidence regarding the potential of blockchain-supported provenance management to enhance trustworthiness and integrity assurance in network forensic workflows.

Abstract

Web application security has become a critical concern as cyber threats evolve in sophistication and frequency. This study analyzes vulnerabilities in modern web applications using the black-box penetration testing method based on the OWASP Top 10:2025 framework within an isolated environment. The research employs VulnApp, an intentionally vulnerable web application deployed as a controlled research target, tested using three open-source DAST tools: Nmap, Nikto, and manual exploitation techniques following stages of reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation, and reporting. Results indicate 24 verified vulnerabilities distributed across 8 of 10 OWASP Top 10:2025 categories, with the combination of tools achieving a Detection Rate (DR) of 83.3%, F1-Score of 0.889, and a Risk Score Composite (RSC) of 7.39, indicating a high-risk application profile. The highest severity findings were identified in Injection (A05, CVSS 9.8), Authentication Failures (A07, CVSS 8.8), and Broken Access Control (A01, CVSS 8.1). The isolated containerized environment proved effective as a reproducible and legally compliant research laboratory.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology requires users to have the ability to compose effective instructions or prompts so that the output produced meets their needs. However, many users, especially students, do not yet understand prompting strategies optimally. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out in the form of a webinar and workshop entitled “Prompt Strategies for Optimal AI Results.” This activity aims to improve participants' understanding and skills in utilizing AI through prompting techniques such as Chain-of-Thought (CoT), Few-shot Prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), ReAct, and Tree of Thoughts (ToT). The methods used in this activity included socialization, pre-testing, webinar material delivery, hands-on practice in the workshop session, post-testing, and evaluation through a feedback questionnaire. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, marked by an increase in the average score from 78.06 in the pre-test to 100 in the post-test, or an increase of 28.1%. Additionally, participant satisfaction with the material, presenters, and activity implementation was very high. Thus, this activity proved effective in improving participants' literacy and competence in the optimal use of AI.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) requires improved technological literacy and a basic understanding of practical applications. This study aims to introduce the concepts of AI and ML through the implementation of simple machine learning models using TensorFlow. The methods used include material delivery, model implementation practice, and evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, and feedback questionnaires. The evaluation results show an increase in participants' understanding, marked by an increase in the average score from 76.76 on the pre-test to 80.91 on the post-test, or an increase of 5.41%. In addition, the feedback results showed a very high level of satisfaction, with 96% of participants giving positive ratings. This shows that the TensorFlow-based learning approach is effective in improving basic understanding and skills related to AI and ML.
