Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the global economy, including Indonesia. The main victims of the COVID-19 outbreak are micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This article aims to examine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on MSMEs and provide recommendations that can be done to reduce business losses, survive the crisis and accelerate recovery. MSMEs were negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of sales, income, profits, and cash flow of business owners. MSME actors must adapt by reducing production, and reducing the number/hour of employees. More than that, product quality improvement and market expansion are important things to do. The majority of MSMEs (82.9%) in Indonesia have been negatively affected by this pandemic. Various policy recommendations were put forward to reduce the bad impact of the outbreak on MSMEs.

Abstract

Achievement level of aviation safety can be achieved with the proper function of all components of the system in the aviation industry which consists of airport operators, airline operators, air traffic operators and aircraft maintenance operator, as well as the regulations set by the regulator. Every incident should be investigated aviation accidents to fin d the cause. This is to provide appropriate recommendations so that the same airline accident does not happen again. The increasing number of flights that are needed with safety guarantees. So it is importance to analyzed routine flight accident to improve the safety performance of airlines. This research is descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. Flight accidents data that have investigated from NTSC and DGCA grouped causes are then recommendations have been made by the NTSC also grouped for each operator stakeholders. Improved system of aviation safety in Indonesia can be done with a thorough analysis based on the results of investigation of NTSC whose recommendations have been given to all stakeholders in the aviation industry. The results showed that the causes of flight accidents in Indonesia is dominated by the human factor the percentage reached 60%. The highest number of the recommendations given by the NTSC to DGCA as many as 208 recommendations during the period 2007-2014 but the trend o f declining. On other side of the trend of the recommendations given to aviation operators showed an increase. This shows an increase in the duty on DGCA to always supervise, and set the standard flight operations carried out by several airline operators in Indonesia.

Abstract

Lurik fabrics, fabrics in the form of lines, are one of Indonesia's traditional woven fabrics that must get support to survive in competition with other fashion products, both nationally and globally. The complexity of the problems faced by small and medium industries engaged in weaving requires support from various scientific fields, namely industrial engineering, fashion, management, and information technology. In general, the support provided is to increase the quality and quantity of products produced, improve management, and expand the marketing network. Each of these divisions provides direct technical support in accordance with existing concrete problems. The industrial engineering division rearranged the production space so that it is more comfortable, safe and conducive to work. The Clothing Department provides training in the manufacture of derivative products from striated fabrics, so that derivative products with high economic value will be produced to be marketed. The Management Division improves the management of financial records and marketing planning, as well as the management of Intellectual Property Rights for their lurik motives. Information technology department, created a website for wider information dissemination, and created an online shop in several existing marketplaces. Some of the results of this assistance include a neatly arranged production room, a production machine with a production capacity of 2 times as much; 6 employees master the manufacture of derivative products with 3 product variants; 5 Intellectual Property Rights for lurik motives; 1 active website; 2 online shops. Overall, these activities have increased the quality and quantity of production produced, as well as market expansion.

Abstract

The availability of various koi pond pump products is marketed with various kinds, types, and various advantages. This diversity makes it difficult for business owners to determine a koi pond pump product that suits their business needs. The consideration of the pump in question is a koi pond pump in the form of an electric submersible pump or ESP. One method that can be used for the selection of a koi pond pump is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. This study uses the AHP method assisted by expert choice software. From the results of the assessment of the importance of the criteria in the selection of suppliers, the priority scales are as follows: Priority I Brand Reputation (0.4251), Product Design (0.2661), Power Consumption (0.1102), Durability (0.1074), Ease of Maintenance (0.054), and Price (0.0409). From the results of the alternative assessment, the following priorities were generated: priority I Eheim CON12000 (0.4105), Resun PG12000 (0.2318), Yamano ACT12000 (0.2025), and Atman MP12000 (0.1551).

Abstract

The increasing demand for wedang uwuh during the pandemic requires Weeka Wedang Uwuh as a producer to be quick and responsive in meeting demand. Competition for sales of wedang uwuh is currently quite tight because there are more and more wedang uwuh producers. One way to anticipate current business competition, especially in the herbal beverage industry, is to try to manage the resources owned by SMEs, including labor. The right number of workers will guarantee product availability and also provide minimum costs for labor costs. This research aims to provide suggestions for determining the optimal number of workers in order to minimize labor costs. ToC is a problem solving approach that focuses on eliminating constraints using available methodologies. Therefore, this approach is very suitable for eliminating obstacles at Weeka Wedang Uwuh in order to determine the optimal number of workers. To support the TOC approach, the Dynamic Program method will be applied to the obstacle removal step. The optimal number of workers in UKM Weeka Wedang Uwuh will be obtained by reducing 5 (five) workers in the Wedang Uwuh packing section. The savings that occurred during the research time period were Rp. 21,500,302.00 compared to expenses if it had the current number of workers.

Abstract

Frans Kaisiepo Airport is the airport with the first international status in the Papua region with the airport managing agency PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) and has runway specifications and airport facilities that are fairly good and complete. The airport is located in the Biak Numfor-Papua district, where the district has regional potential that can be developed to increase the utilization of the Frans Kaisiepo airport such as tourism, fisheries, industry and Biak Numfor as a place / space research facility. In this research, it is intended to choose alternative potential of the Biak Numfor district area to be developed in order to improve the utilization of the Frans Kaisiepo Biak Numforairport.              In this study, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to choose the best alternative potential for the region from the existing potential areas, with the steps in the AHP are (1) Problem decomposition (2) Matrix preparation (3) Assessment /weighting for compare elements (4) Normalization (synstesis) of priorities and consistency tests and (5) Decision making / decision making. Then given suggestions for efforts to develop the potential of selected areas using SWOT analysis.              The results of the priority assessment in this study, the final results for the selection of alternative potential areas that are expected to increase the use of Frans Kaisiepo airport are tourism potentials that have the highest priority weight of 0.379, followed by fisheries potential with a priority weight of 0.318. Next, the third and fourth priority sequentially are industry potential and space research facilities with a weight of 0.169 and 0.132. From the results of the SWOT analysis, several efforts that can be made to develop the tourism potential of Biak Numfor Regency are as follows: (1) Optimizing management of tourism potential (2) Increasing tourism promotion efforts in Biak Numfor district (3) Increasing professional human resources to improve the tourism performance of the Biak Numfor district area.

Abstract

Patuk merupakan pintu gerbang untuk memasuki Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Di Patuk terdapat beberapa tempat wisata dan produk makanan olahan dari bahan hasil alam dan pertanian. Beberapa potensi produk yang dapat menjadi unggulan di Kecamatan Patuk sudah berkembang di masyarakat tetapi belum banyak dikenal oleh wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Gunungkidul. Permasalahan yang ada di Patuk belum adanya media informasi berbasis Teknologi Informasi yang memanfaatkan Augmented Reality (AR) untuk memperkenalkan potensi produk unggulan dan pariwisata di Patuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) proses pengembangan Website www.jelajahipatuk.com dengan menggunakan Augmented Reality (AR); (2) desain model AR khususnya pada perancangan peta digital wilayah Kecamatan Patuk; (3) hasil pembuatan peta digital ini dapat dijadikan untuk pengembangan teknologi AR pada Website produk unggulan dan pariwisata Patuk Gunungkidul. Adanya perancangan sistem ini memudahkan dalam pengembangan Website promosi produk unggulan dan obyek wisata berbasis mobile yang memanfaatkan AR sehingga lebih efektif dan edukatif. Hasil perancangan berupa peta digital dapat mendukung kebutuhan pengembangan teknologi AR pada Website yang ada sebelumnya dan mengubah konsep persepsi pengguna tentang interaksi antara dunia nyata dan objek virtual 2D secara real time.

Abstract

One of the successes or failures of a project is influenced by project scheduling and control planning, less effective scheduling results in delays and the emergence of problems during project work, this requires good scheduling to regulate work activities, therefore determining the critical path of activities is needed to Set the time for the work to go according to plan. In this study, the focus is on scheduling the reinforcement fuselage for the aircraft N219 PT. Dirgantara Indonesia, using the Program Evaluation And Review Technique (PERT) method to determine the critical path of activity and calculate the most likely completion time of the reinforcement fuselage work. The results of the research analysis on the main schedule for the reinforcement fuselage work obtained a critical path with the activity code A – B – D – E – G, Development Problem Log (DPL) scheduling analysis obtained critical path A1 – B1 – C1 – E1 – F1, A2 – B2 – C2 – D2, A3 – B3 – D3 – E3, A4 – B4 – C4 – D4, A5 – B5 – C5 – D5 – E5, A6 – B6 – C6 – D6 – E6. And the most likely completion time for the reinforcement fuselage work is 40-45 days with a probability value of 95.72% - 99.88%.

Abstract

Detergen adalah pembersih sintetis campuran berbagai bahan, yang digunakan untuk membantu pembersihan dan terbuat dari bahan-bahan turunan minyak bumi. Yaitu senyawa kimia bernama alkyl benzene sulfonat (ABS) yang direaksikan dengan natrium hidroksida (NaOH).  Dibanding dengan sabun, detergen mempunyai keunggulan antara lain mempunyai daya cuci yang lebih baik serta tidak terpengaruh oleh kesadahan air.   Akan tetapi penggunaan deterjen secara terus menerus atau dalam jangka waktu lama akan menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan maupun ekosistem yang ada disekitar manusia. Berdasarkan dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan karena penggunaan deterjen maka perlu dicari bahan alami yang dapat menggantikan fungsi deterjen yang mengandung bahan-bahan yang berbahaya bagi manusia maupun lingkungan hidup. Dari perhitungan financial accounting diperoleh bahwa nilai waktu pengembalian modal (payback Period) selama 6,9 bulan, maka investasi dianggap layak untuk dilaksanakan. Sedangkan kriteria Net Present Value (NPV) memiliki nilai positif, yaitu sebesar Rp. 79.845.488. Kemudian untuk nilai Internal Rate of return dari investasi ini didapatkan hasil sebesar 37,22 %. Sedangkan untuk nilai Return on Investment yang didapat adalah sebesar 171,37 %. Dengan nilai tingkat pengembalian sebesar 71,37 % investasi dianggap menguntungkan sehingga layak untuk dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This research examines the revival of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia facing the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic presents major challenges and is a catalyst for unprecedented change in the SME sector. This article aims to identify and analyze the main factors that play a role in the resilience and growth of Indonesian SMEs during and after the pandemic. Through a mixed methods approach, utilizing quantitative data and qualitative interviews, this research reveals that digital transformation, government stimulus, and community solidarity play an important role. The research results show that SMEs that use digital marketing show good adaptability and growth, and benefit from the shift in consumer behavior to online platforms. The Indonesian government's fiscal support by assisting struggling SMEs, enables business continuity and recovery from the impact of the pandemic. Additionally, the role of community-based initiatives in fostering collective resilience is also a unique aspect of the business landscape in Indonesia. The study concludes with policy recommendations to maintain the growth and resilience of SMEs, emphasizing the importance of digital inclusion, easy access to financial institutions, and community support networks. The impact of this research is significant for policymakers, business leaders, and community developers aiming to protect the SME sector from future crises.
