The purpose of the research to determine the effect of the application of active learning type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the results of learning geography students class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency. The hypothesis in this study is "There is a significant influence on the application of active learning of the type of Hollywood Squares using LKS to the students' geography result of grade XI SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency". This type of research is quasi-experimental, with randomized control only design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency enrolled in the 2016/2017 academic year, selected sample using cluster random sampling technique, which selected XI IPS2 class as control class and class XI IPS1 as experiment class. To test the hypothesis used two equality test (t) at the 0.05 level.The result of the data analysis shows that the experimental class has an average value of cognitive domain of 81.25 while the control class has a mean of cognitive domain of 73.88. The calculation of the cognitive sphere t obtained (95) (62) is 1.66. Thus the hypothesis presented earlier can be accepted at 95% confidence level. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of active learning type Hollywood Squares using LKS can improve learning outcomes geography class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency.

This research was conducted to see how variations in population pressure on paddy fields, variations in the carrying capacity of paddy fields and to determine the optimum population size in Batipuh District. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted in Batipuh District, carried out from September to October 2020. The data analysis technique was obtained through the analytical tool used to calculate population pressure using Prof. formula. Otto Soemarwoto model II. The results showed that Batipuh District had experienced population pressure (TP <1). The highest value of population pressure in Batipuh District was in the village of Bungo Tanjung (106.8), while the lowest value was in the village of Sabu (39.9). The results of the analysis of the carrying capacity of the land show that there are 5 villages that are able to meet the food needs of their residents properly, namely Andaleh, Sabu, Batipuh Baruah, Pitalah, Bungo Tanjung. There are 2 nagari that are in class II classification, namely the Batipuh Ateh village and the Gunung Rajo village. Nagari with class III classification is only found in Tanjung Barulak village, which means that the village has not been able to provide adequate food. Nagari whose population has not exceeded the optimum limit consists of 7 nagari, namely; nagari Bungo Tanjung, Pitalah, Gunung Rajo, Batipuh Baruah, Batipuh Ateh, Sabu and Andaleh. Nagari whose population has passed the optimum limit is the village of Tanjung Barulak. Key Words: Population Pressure, Land Carrying Capacity, Optimum Population

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kelayakan usaha dengan fokus pada aspek pasar dan pemasaran, menggunakan Warung Rumah Makan Kak Ira sebagai studi kasus. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah kualitatif, dimana data di peroleh langsung dari lapangan melalui survei dan wawancara.Adapun informasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu memiliki 3 karyawan dan 1orang pemilik warung. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dari hasil wawancara terkait dengan kelayakan bisnis dari aspek pasar dan pemasaran yang terdiri dari produk, harga, tempat, promosi, SDM, proses. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Warung Rumah Makan Kak Ira mengimplementasikan strategi alternatif dari segi pasar dan pemasaran sehingga bisa di katakan layak untuk di kembangkan.

Character education are really necessary not only in school but also in home and in the social environment. Along with advances in technology, character education is very important among children nowadays, with the development of gadget technology, it has a very bad influence on inner village children by exemplifying words that are not appropriate to say, so from We took the research object as elementary school (ES) students. The author then explains the method of implementing community service activities which includes observation and psychoeducation. The results and discussion include students' efforts to build educational character through socialization activities, teaching religion, art, and waste management as well as the influence of gadgets. It is hoped that the implementation of character education can form a generation that is responsible and has integrity for a better future. The socialization is intended for grade 4 elementary school (ES) students and the insight test is taken by grade 4 and 6 elementary school (ES) students. This aims to form a sustainable generation for children in the area.

Whether or not an education in a country is successful is one of the learning models. One of the problems faced in learning Civics is the low learning outcomes of students. The use of conventional learning models causes students to be passive and have difficulty in understanding learning. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes, one of the efforts that can be made to improve student learning outcomes is to use the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model in the learning process. The research method used in this research is Descriptive Quantitative with a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which was carried out in 2 cycles. The results of the research obtained in cycle I of the material on the relationship between the Pancasila principles in Civics subjects by using the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model achieved classical completeness of 50% and increased to % in cycle II. The results obtained in this study indicate that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Civics class V odd semester students of SD Negeri 15 Pekanbaru.

The quality of a nation is largely determined by educational factors. Education is essentially a conscious effort to prepare students through guidance, teaching or training activities for their roles in the future. Or in other words, education is a conscious effort to develop the potential of students' human resources by encouraging and facilitating their learning activities, so that in developing their duties teachers are required to be able to educate, teach and train so that mastery of concepts is more ingrained. This research aims to reveal hadiths related to life guidelines which are the basis for the implementation of education as well as exploring the potential that exists and needs to be developed in humans. This research uses qualitative research with a library research approach. The results of this research show that there are several potentials that need to be developed, including; Intellectual Mental Potential (Intellectual Quotient). Social Emotional Potential (Emotional Quotient). Spiritual Mental Potential (Spiritual Quotient). Fighting Potential (Adversity Quetient) and Physical Potential (Psychomotor).

Indonesia's biodiversity that exists around its community environment has been used for generations as a food and medicinal ingredient, one of which is temulawak (Curcuma xanthorriza.). Temulawak is used as a raw material for herbal aches and pains because it is efficacious to help reduce or eliminate inflammatory diseases in the body such as arthritis. The purpose of this study was to identify the presence of curcuma content in several aching and rheumatic herbs using an experimental design. The method used was a qualitative test using thin layer chromatography (TLC) with n-hexane -acetone as the mobile phase (6:4). The results of TLC observations at 254 nm and 366 nm UV lamps showed yellow spots on the comparator temulawak simplicia and the Rf value of the curcuma simplicia was 0.690. The results of the identification of the five samples of herbal medicine stiff and sore by TLC proved to contain temulawak simplicia.

The development of the times in the era of globalization requires that we always update on increasingly sophisticated technology, including for the teaching and learning process. One technique for evaluating student achievement using technology is the survey method with Google Forms. The use of the Google form aims to make it easier for students and educators to access evaluations of students' teaching and learning achievements. This study uses the literature study method and data collection techniques obtained from articles, books, and other validated sources. The results of this study explain that evaluation in the teaching and learning process using the Google form in Islamic religious education lessons makes it easier for educators, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The use of Google forms which is very easy to access makes educators and students have no difficulties in using it. From this article it is hoped that it will provide educators with views on the use of Google Forms in evaluating the achievements of students during the learning process.
