Abstract

Pekanbaru wedding Center has the main function to support the wedding procession. Modernization that occurs in the city of Pekanbaru makes things practical, this tendency makes people prefer things that are considered practical but still effective and efficient, including the implementation of wedding receptions that want to be more efficient. The Pekanbaru Wedding Center is also provides supporting facilities such as salons and spas, wedding boutiques, jewelry stores, cake shops, photo studios, shopping centers, invitation shops, flower shops, catering and hotels in one area making it easier the bride and groom in meeting the needs of the wedding and in holding a wedding reception. that method uses is the Expressionist Architecture Approach which creates a building that expresses emotions and can be felt by people who see it so that it not only provides facilities that can enrich one's expression but also describes expressions in terms of architecture that creates the building. Expressionist architecture expresses expression through three physical elements of the building, namely the facade, the interior, the building plan, and the mass of the building. By the concept of Happy vibes is an atmosphere of happiness which is then described through the results of imagination and emotions which are then combined with several elements that influence the process of composition.keywords : Pekanbaru, Wedding Center, Expressionist Architecture

Abstract

The Center for Digital Technology Creativity in Pekanbaru is a facility that utilizes digital technology in creative thinking to keep abreast of digital and easy times and a place for peopleto understand and participate in developing digital technology by developing digital technology skills in various branches of technology. The existence of the Center for DigitalTechnology Creativity in Pekanbaru is very important, starting from the high interest of the community towards technology and also because digital technology has great potential in the industrial world in the digital era where everything that is done is completely digital. Theimportance of this facility is strengthened by the large number of people who start using digital technology but are not yet aware of what can be done by the technology, so that the digitaltechnology used will be felt to be useless and quite a number of cases are found due to negative use of technology. The Center for Digital Technology Creativity has the main function as a training and development center that aims to increase students' knowledge about digital technology and digital technology branches in the industrial world and information functions that will explain the technological developments in the world. This method uses the NormanFoster Design Principles Approach which applies the science of modern technology and provides ease of use. Norman Foster always designs with the inculcation of the concept of High Tech in his building, so that not only provides facilities that develop technology skills toindividuals but also illustrates a technological development into architecture that can be seen in the physical building and experience in the building. Abstract

Abstract: Rokan Hulu is a region that is rich in biodiversity, with natural tropical conditions making Rokan Hulu a suitable habitat for flora and fauna. One of them is butterfly fauna. There are various types of endemic butterflies preserved in the tourist area of Hapanasan Rokan Hulu which has an information center and butterfly breeding, which is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Rokan Hulu. The Rokan Hulu Butterfly Park and Conservation Center are a butterfly research and breeding facility that serves as a conservation area and educational activities, to provide updated information about butterflies for the public. By implementing Biomimicry Architecture, it is able to create a relationship between architecture and nature by implementing natural strategies into building designs. Through the concept of 'butterfly metamorphosis' and transformed with biomimicry architecture approach, this building has architectural qualities that can stimulate the life of the butterfly habitat and plants as source of food.Keywords: Biomimicry; Butterfly Park; Conservation Center Abstrak: Rokan Hulu merupakan daerah yang kaya akan keanekaragaman hayati yang sangat tinggi. Kabupaten ini memiliki keadaan alam yang beriklim tropis sehingga menjadikan Rokan Hulu sebagai habitat yang cocok untuk flora dan fauna salah satunya adalah fauna kupu-kupu. Terdapat berbagai macam jenis kupu-kupu endemik yang dilestarikan di kawasan wisata Hapanasan Rokan Hulu yang memiliki pusat informasi dan penangkaran kupu-kupu yang merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang paling banyak dikunjungi di Rokan Hulu. Rokan Hulu Butterfly Park and Conservation Centre merupakan wadah penelitian dan penangkaran kupu-kupu yang berfungsi sebagai ruang interaksi kegiatan konservasi dan edukasi, sehingga dapat memberikan informasi mengenai kehidupan kupu-kupu kepada masyarakat. Dengan implementasi Arsitektur Biomimikri, pendekatan arsitektur ini mampu menciptakan hubungan antara arsitektur dan alam dengan mengaplikasikan strategi alam ke dalam rancangan bangunan. Melalui konsep ‘metamorphosis kupu-kupu’ dan ditransformasikan dengan pendekatan arsitektur biomimikri bangunan ini memiliki kualitas arsitektur yang dapat menstimulasi kehidupan habitat kupu-kupu dan tanaman yang menjadi sumber makanannya.Kata Kunci: Biomimikri; Butterfly Park; Conservation Center

Abstract

Indoensia have various folk stories with any tittle and messages in the story, certainly become local wisdom in Indonesia. The story from every province in Indonesia, including in Riau province. But in nowadays, childern’s interests to folk story is decrease, folk story from abroad are very popular, for example Snow White and Cinderella. The ways can be do for take the memories interest people especially the children to Riau folk story by developt Theme Park which amusement park that tells about folk story in Riau. This theme park applying simulator technology so visitors can feel the atmosphere in the story from simulations on the amusement park. This folklore Theme Park applies the concept of "story of 4 Rivers". The concept selection that will be applied to this Theme Park is to choose based on folklore in Riau because the function of this building is Riau Folklore Theme Park, which is a theme park of Riau folklore. In this theme park visitors can get entertainment, children can get moral values to social values from the story and hoped after visiting this place children can apply these messages in their daily lives and can bring back their interest to Riau folk story. Abstract

The Malay arts and culture building in Bengkalis is a building that houses art activities and art connoisseurs in the form of performance facilities and galleries. The existence of the Malay arts and cultural building in Bengkalis is supported by an increase in the art group each year in Bengkalis and the provision of facilities and infrastructure that is not optimal. The design method of Malay art and culture building in Bengkalis uses the application of Bengkalis Malay traditional house architecture. The application of Malay traditional house architecture can be in the form of characteristics of traditional Malay home architecture in Bengkalis, namely the use of a sloping roof, stage, ornamentation, wide openings, pian tongue walls, water tanks at the front of the house, and home space programs. Dependent bee is a concept used in the management of Malay art and culture buildings, is one of the characteristics inherent in traditional Malay houses, so that the shape of the building is transformed from dependent bee formations. Abstract

Youth is the time of life when someone considered young and the transition from childhood into maturity, youth experience various changes in both physical and psychic terms. Such changes can be either good or otherwise determined by many factors within themselves and their environment. Their activities and tendencies also affect as part of their changes, such as through doing their hobbies and interests could establish their personality and character in a more positive direction in the future. Bagansiapiapi, which is the capital of the district Rokan Hilir, Riau Province has a population with a large range of teenager age. There are so many youth positive activity, but there are still many of them that have not been facilitated and they finally look for other alternative places or do other activities that maybe unsettling and could harm themselves or others. Therefore, a facility is required intended for the youths to perform their positive activities such as the Youth Center. Youth Center has facilities that can accommodate the youth activities such as sports, arts, education and meetings. As the center of youth activity, Bagansiapiapi Youth Center would implement the style of expressionist architecture. Expressionist architecture is used because one of the principles is to create freely and expression that matches the characteristics of a free and the rebel of youth. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate. The tropical climate makes Indonesia rich in natural resources, especially the diversity of flora that are scattered throughout Indonesia. Indonesia is estimated to have 25% of the species of flowering plants around the world. Exploitation of flora diversity, illegal logging, conversion of forest areas to other areas, hunting and illegal trade are some of the factors that cause the endangerment of flora diversity. To prevent more and more flora from becoming extinct and to study flora species we need a container, namely a botanical garden. The approach used to design a botanical garden is a parametric design approach. Various daily activities that happen at the street of MT. Haryono cause manyproblems to the city of Semarang. These problems include problems associated with theinterface system (linkage system), open space and green space systems, buildings layout,signal system, streetscape, city architecture, street vendors and informal sectors, as well asinfrastructure and utility systems.This study onMT.Haryono Streetwas aimed to analyze related problems that exist inthe surrounding urban areasusing direct observationson the regions, which are then comparedwith the existing urban theory appropriate to the circumstances of the area.These problems include linkage system, open space systems, buildings layout, andsignal and streetscape system.In order to support and encourage the development of the area as the city centre, anintegrated and thorough planning is necessary that covers all aspects of the existing conditionsof the MT.Haryono street so that the area will be functioning well as expected.Key words: urban problems. area development. city centre.

Abstract

As one of the countries that have high interest of football, the lack of achievement of the Indonesian national team in the international arena is a problem that must be solved if one daywant to see Indonesia in the World Cup. The main problems are in the coaching of young players which only relies on community initiatives and football competition in Indonesia is still lesscompetitive. Nusantara Football Academy is the solution of various problems related to a long time and process and substantial funds to improve football coaching system in Indonesia. With the academy is expected to produce a professional football player who can compete in the internationalarena. Pekanbaru as one of the major cities that have a lot of young talent and the high interest of football should take an active role in improving the football coaching system in Indonesia. In the design of this academy, tropical architecture approach is used to answer a variety of issues relatedto climate conditions that affect site. Some of the principles of Tropical Architecture applied in the design, such us: (1) orientation of the building; (2) Optimization of natural aeration; (3) Percentage of green spaces; (4) Responsive to environmental conditions. The concept of Total Football was chosen to solve the various problems that arise during the design process of Nusantara Football Academy. This concept is applied in all architectural design aspects of Nusantara Football Academy, such as: the order of mass, mass formation, landscaping and interior arrangement, up to building facades. Order mass efficient, simple mass formation, structuringlandscaping and attractive interior and facade that are adapted to the environmental conditions are the result of the application of the concept of Total Football in Nusantara Football Academydesign.Keywords: Football Academy, Nusantara, Tropical Architecture, Total Football.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge how human relation with aquatic occur in Pekanbaru society. They have need a place to introduce aquatic in order to growing concern for aquatic at oncegood for human pyshcology and to reduce stress. Siak River Aquatic Hub is a place which giving education about aquatic a live by sub-diving, marine breeding, aquaplants conservation, touching marine and art by aquatic. Water as the main element of design implemented in concept transformation as nature section and high-tech structure making theiconic building in Pekanbaru all of those can be realized by Santiago Calatrava design principle. As Calatrava to interested user by having nature in design so make the Diving Soulto Realms is a good main concept. The main idea of Siak River Aquatic Hub are bring user’s soul to feel how aquatic life and be clarified by profile of Siak River as familiar nature inPekanbaru and be transformationed by Calatrava design principle heed by water reflector, high-tech of structure and a lot of cuvring applied in Siak River Aquatic Hub.Keywords : Aquatic Hub, Sungai Siak, Calatrava.
