Abstract

Bicycle community facilities is a place for bicycle community located in city of Pekanbaru. The growth of the bicycle community in Pekanbaru is a form of passion arising from the user of the bicycle itself, such as the desire to strengthen friendship between bicycle enthusiasts, socialize, cultivate confidence Different in the environment and channeling the talent, cultivating a healthy lifestyle, and also to participate in events held by the Department of Pekanbaru. With so many communities and events for bicycle users, there is an idea to host bicycle users. The facilities are hosted by communal outdoor and Indoor areas, outdoor stage, BMX outdoor area, garden, bicycle retail, bicycle workshop, Mini Gallery, Minimarket, café and other functions related to bicycle users. The Study method used is an expressionist architecture approach, which is to apply the principles and design ideas. The concept applied is a transformation concept of bicycle movement called "Backlash" which is a manufer movement in cycling. With an expressive look of the movement of the bicycle is expected to be integrated between the architecture and the user, thus producing a new place for the bicycle user community in the city of Pekanbaru..Keywords : Expressionist architecture, community, bicycles, Pekanbaru

Abstract

Batik was previously only famous on the island of Java, but over time, batik has spread throughout Indonesia and can be enjoyed by various groups. UNESCO's acknowledgment of batik culture makes batik must be maintained its existence and sustainability. Riau Province also participates in preserving batik and has different batik patterns and motifs from other regions of the archipelago. The motifs and characteristics of Riau batik are adopted from Riau Malay culture, marked by the use of striking colors, flora motifs in Riau, perpendicular grooves, and having a meaningful philosophy. However, there are still many Riau people who do not know and know Riau Batik, people only know and are familiar with batik from Java so that interest in Riau Batik is low. For this reason, it is necessary to have a place for the community to learn about Riau batik and a place for batik to grow, develop and maintain its sustainability, namely the Batik House. The design of the batik house uses an eco-tech architectural theme. Through this theme, it is hoped that the design of the Riau Batik House building can adapt to the natural, social and local cultural environment, survive and function with the times as well as Batik crafts that still survive today, involve technology to support ecological architectural design and provide comfort aspects. for users. Abstract

Carricature artist in Pekanbaru is need a place for them to improve their skill of showing expression in art by their carricarture painting art. Carricature art center is the solution for carricature artist whose need a place to learn, create and to express imganination in art and could be a symbol of identity for carricarture artist. Design principle of Frank Owen Gehry architect will aply to carricature art center design to rise up the symbol and a movement of art to be a big idea and transform it to be a iconic building. A big concept of designing carricature art center is “The Peoples Againts The Mighty Goverment”. The concept strategy is to representatate an expression of carricature artist whose create a critical communication by painting art. Same with gehry architect the strategy of designing Carricature art center begin from tranformation of abstractionthe symbol of “The peoples Againts The Mighty Goverment”to be a form of building. Abstract

Current development in the world of work is increasing causing humans to spend time to working. It is a lot happening in the big cities as well as in the cities is growing. Human activities that are constantly working unconsciously cause boredom and increase the levels of stress on themselves. Based on the balance between work and entertainment, we need a place to meet the needs of entertainment for the community. Therefore, Entertainment Center is one place solutions that can accommodate the needs of entertainment for the community. Entertainment Center is a building that is both attractive as well as recreational and commercial, a building that can accommodate a variety of entertainment facilities which have different properties and types. In designing Entertainment Center made the approach on modern architecture based on “less is more” and the concept of unification of the character and function of the building. This is related to the unification of various types of entertainment that are for individuals, groups or families that are adjusted to the nature of the area (public, semi-public, private) with the application of modern themes in interior and exterior, the building materials, circulation and spatial relations in building. Abstract

Tanjungpinang Creative Hub is a central that can accommodate creative activities in the development of network, organization and business of creative industries. Tanjungpinang as the capital of Riau Islands Province is potentially to the development of creative economy due to the technological advancement in creative industry growth and tourism, both in the field of art products, culture and local wisdom. So many creative actors and micro enterprises emerge active in the creative industry sectors. Creative hub planning becomes the solution of the problem that serves as an educational, commercial and recreational facilities and there are supporting facilities for user activities. Tanjungpinang Creative Hub facilitates the development of seven creative industry subsectors namely performing arts, fashion, culinary, crafts, photography, animation and graphic design. This method uses expressionist architectural approaches to provide an expressive and imaginative image of the building when anyone sees it as well as being able to present building functions as a place of shaping creativity and enriching self-expression. Implementation of expressionist architecture by applying the characteristics and values to the design of the building through three elements namely façade, interior, floor plan and building mass. Abstract

Music Center in Pekanbaru is a center that accommodates all activities in the field of music, especially modern music and traditional Malay music. The existence of Music Center in Pekanbaru is supported by high public interest in the art of music, this is reinforced by theexistence of several music schools and the many parents who direct their children to attend music lessons or music schools to hone their children's talents from an early age, in addition to frequent holding music concerts with high public enthusiasm for the concert. Music Centerhas the main function as a forum in educational, commercial and recreational activities for visitors, and in social activities as a meeting place for those who are already proficient inmusic with those who will learn about music. This method uses the Expressionist Architecture Approach which creates a building that expresses an emotion and can be felt by people whosee it, so that it not only provides facilities that can enrich one's expression, but also illustrates expressions in terms of architecture that creates a building that looks like a work of art. Expressionist architecture expressed the expression through the three physical elements of the building, namely facade, interior, floor plan and building mass. Abstract

The e-Sports center is motivated by the rapid development of e-Sports in Indonesia, including Pekanbaru, various events are held means that e-Sports high enthusiasts today. E-Sports has becomea sport that has formalized and fully supported by the government, as a promising sport for athletes in the future. However, with such rapid development, it is not followed by facilities that couldaccommodate the events, therefore the center of the e-Sports aims to meet all the needs of buildings and other facilities so that e-Sports are even better. In planning the e-Sports Center, it is based onRichard Roger’s design principles about "problem-solving technology" which is how to utilize technology in solving problems and meeting the development needs in architecture. Abstract

Humans will experience 5 stages of life starting from the stage of nothingness, the stages of the womb stage, the stages of life in the world, the stages of the barzakh realm, and finally, the stages of the afterlife Museum is an institution that is intended for the general public. A museum refers to a building that holds ancient history, cultural heritage, and various types of living and non-living objects. In this plan, a museum of the development of life will be designed, which will display 5 phases of the history of the development of human life so that people can catch up. The museum will be a media for documentation, education, and recreation. This end-of-time museum planning uses an architectural utopia approach that is by the function of the design. This is because life after death is a very perfect and real delusion. Architectural utopia is a contradiction in reality that has continuity with the design function. This tourism object has great potential to be developed because it has Green and natural beauty. Besides this, the Tepian Muaro Batulangkai is a place that people do Traditional ceremony before Ramadan that is called mandi Balimau. The design method used is the result of field survey, literature study, and empirical data. The designing process of Tepian Muaro Batulangkai tourism object arrangement focuses on water Recreation, cultural recreation and family recreation. The design theme used is Organic architecture which is an architecture that connects the environment and nature. Abstract

Coffee Gallery is a place that provides educational, information, commercial, which aims to introduce local products of Sumatera, especially in Pekanbaru. The role of public facilities must necessarily have their own comfort and distinctive features. Therefore, the facilities provided are not only exhibition objects but visitors can see directly the process of processing coffee beans to become ready-to-prepare powder. In terms of gallery facilities also provide a place to relax while enjoying various types of processed coffee. Using the lighting approach, the view of the building can express the character of the coffee itself so that in any room can clearly difference and trademark. Through the basic concept of caffeine, the architectural model comes from the results of the transformation of the compound bonding model which becomes the basic form.
