Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (a) mengetahui pola sarapan pada siswa, (b) mengetahui tingkat konsentrasi siswa di pagi hari, dan (c) mengetahui hubungan pola sarapan dengan konsentrasi belajar siswa SMP N 2 Banjar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 29 siswa, penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dan instrumen yang digunkan untuk menetukan pola sarapan adalah 24-hours recall dan kuesioner pola sarapan, pendataan konsentrasi belajar menggunakan kuesioner konsentrasi dan lembar observasi selama belajar dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment (Pearson) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola sarapan dengan konsentrasi siswa dengan nilai p=0,011(p<0,05) dan nilai r=0,464. Simpulannya adalah Pola sarapan siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banjar diketahui 13,79%  memiliki pola sarapan di atas 15 % AKE serta 86,21 % memiliki pola sarapan di bawah  15% AKE. Tingkat konsentrasi siwa 58,62% dalam kategori sedang dan 41,38% dalam kategori rendah dan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna positif dalam kategori sedang antara pola sarapan dengan konsentrasi siswa, dimana semakin baik pola sarapan maka konsentrasi siswa juga akan semakin baik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of an e-module of biology learning based on guided discovery learning that is valid, practical, and effective. This research is part of development research, with a development research design that adapts the ADDIE development model. The stages of the ADDIE development model include (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The validation test phase involves material experts and teacher practitioners, media experts, and linguists. The practicality test phase involves teacher practitioners and students. The activity test phase involved 36 students from class X IPA 1. The results of development research are (1) the developed e-module obtained valid criteria based on content and construct validity; (2) the product developed has practical criteria based on the teacher and student response questionnaires; (3) e-module biology learning based on guided discovery learning effective used to improve student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0.0001 (p < 0.05) and classical learning completeness of 94% with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the implementation of a problem-based adolescent reproductive health module on students’ life skills and positive attitudes toward reproductive health. It was quasi-experimental research by applying a randomized pretest-posttest control group design, involving junior high school students who were divided into two groups, namely experimental and control groups. The data collection was conducted by using a life skills test and an attitude scale questionnaire as instruments. The instrument validity was tested by applying the Lawshe formula. The instrument’s reliability was tested using the Alpha-Cronbach formula. Multivariate Analysis of Variance was used to analyze the data collected. The research results indicated that learning by using a problem-based adolescent reproductive health module had a positive impact on the students' life skills and attitudes toward their reproductive health. Learning about the human reproductive system by using the module motivates the students to search for answers to the questions given at the beginning of the material. Based on those findings, learning using this module is recommended as one program to teach students (adolescents) education on reproductive health.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the weight of the load upheld resulting in differences in musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue and its contribution to the productivity of transport workers. The location of this research is Badung Market, Denpasar. Analysis of the data used in this study is the Independent Sample t-test and regression test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the data analysis used were data on the difference between musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue, because the pre-test data between group I (carrying weight ≤ 25 kg) and group II (carrying weight > 25 kg) were not compatible. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference in musculoskeletal complaints of 22.28% with a p value of 0.0001 (p <0.05) and 15.16% of fatigue with a p value of 0.0001 (p <0.05). ) between group I and group II. The results of the Regression test to determine the contribution of musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue to work productivity, showed that musculoskeletal complaints did not contribute to the work productivity of transport workers, because the obtained p value = 0.907 in group I and p = 0.927 in group II (p> 0.05) . Fatigue also did not contribute to the work productivity of transport workers, because the obtained p value = 0.498 in group I and p value = 0.583 in group II (p> 0.05). Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the weight of the load being upheld results in differences in musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue in the transport workers, but does not contribute to the work productivity of the transport workers.

Abstract

Disaster mitigation material in geography learning requires not only critical thinking skills but also independence and optimism from students. In this regard, the effective approach needed relies not only on theory but also on practice in independent assignments and exercises. It makes limited face-to-face learning, which has been applied recently, unable to optimize learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the impact of flipped classroom learning based on disaster map visualization on students' self-efficacy and critical thinking skills in disaster mitigation materials. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of the experimental class (30 students) and the control class (30 students), which were determined randomly after the equivalence test. Data on critical thinking skills were collected using a test method in 10 description items, and self-efficacy data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with MANOVA. The results show a significant effect simultaneously or partially with the sig value. 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of flipped classroom learning based on disaster map visualization on students' self-efficacy and critical thinking skills in disaster mitigation materials.

Abstract

Tingkat literasi sains siswa saat ini masih rendah, hal ini disebabkan karena terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook pada materi sistem ekskresi untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam jenis penelitian pengembangan yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yakni ahli materi, ahli media, 3 guru, dan 12 orang siswa.  Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non-tes dan tes. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni lembar kuisoner dan soal objective yang berjumlah 15 soal. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook pada materi sistem ekskresi untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa memperoleh nilai validitas media pembelajaran sebesar 84,4% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan kepraktisan flipbook sebesar 90,6% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook pada materi sistem ekskresi untuk meningkatka lliterasi sains siswa kelas XI SMA sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kepratisan e-modul untuk pembelajaran biologi pada pokok bahasan pencemaran lingkungan di SMA Negeri 1 Bebandem. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang dimodifikasi terdiri dari tahap Define, Design, Development. Penelitian dilaksanakan denga menyebar lembar penilaian kepada para ahli, guru biologi dan peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji validitas dan uji kepraktisan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan pada uji validitas didapat rerata persentase sebesar 90% Artinya e-modul yang dikembangkan sudah sangat valid untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan pada uji praktikalitas mendapat rerata 88,14%. Artinya e-modul yang dikembangkan sudah sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Abstract

The nutrition and health lectures show that students can optimally develop higher-order thinking skills. The learning process with the strategies and methods used has yet to be able to maximize the student learning process to be able to develop high-level thinking skills. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of case-based learning on students' mastery of concepts and thinking skills in the field of nutrition and adolescent health. This type of research is quantitative. The research subjects were 6th-semester students who programmed the Nutrition and Health Course with 24 people. The research design is one short case study. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The research instruments used were tests and questionnaires to determine student responses. The results showed that the mean score of students' mastery of concepts about nutrition and health was 86.13, which was classified as very good, while students' thinking skills were obtained at 86.08, which was classified as very good. The student response to the case-based learning was very good, scoring 87.33. The effectiveness of case-based learning is determined based on the effectiveness index obtained by 100%. It was concluded that concept mastery, thinking skills, and student responses were in the very good category, and the effectiveness of case-based learning in adolescent nutrition health studies was also very good.

Abstract

Mikroba merupakan bentuk kehidupan yang tersebar paling luas dan terdapat paling banyak di bumi. Mikroba yang ada di bumi, ada yang menguntungkan dan merugikan. Mikroba patogen yang menyebabkan penyakit, adalah mikroba yang merugikan. Mikroba yang menguntungkan banyak dimanfaatkan dalam bioteknologi. Tujuan penulisan adalah mengkaji mengenai mikroba yang berhubungan dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs). Hasil studi pustaka, didapatkan hasil peran mikroba dalam pembangunan terutama dalam bidang bioteknologi yang meliputi : bidang pangan, bidang kedokteran, farmasi dan kesehatan, pertanian, industri dan bidang lingkungan yang sesuai dengan pelaksanaan SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)/Pembangunan Berkelanjutan yang merupakan peluncuran dari Perserikatan Bangsa-bangsa (PBB), pada bulan September 2015 dan berakhir pada tahun 2030. SDGs merupakan kelanjutan dari program internasional yang disepakati oleh PBB untuk mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan antara tahun 2000-2015 adalah Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) yang berakhir pada tahun 2015 masih menyisakan sejumlah pekerjaan rumah yang harus diselesaikan, oleh Perserikatan Bangsa-bangsa (PBB) dengan meluncurkan SDGs. Pembangunan berkelanjutan di Indonesia pada dasarnya mencakup tiga dimensi yaitu ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Kata kunci : mikroba, tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest biodiversity in the world. However, this high diversity requires individual awareness and responsibility to maintain and utilize it sustainably. Therefore, biodiversity literacy is an important element, especially for students as prospective future generations who will play a role in natural resource management in the future. This study aims to evaluate the level of biodiversity literacy of students of the Biology study program at the University of Education Mandalika, by assessing six dimensions of biodiversity literacy: Conservation and Importance of Biodiversity (CIB), Ethics and Biodiversity (EB), Sustainability and Biodiversity (SB), Taking Action to Protect Biodiversity (TAPB), Biodiversity and Utility (BU), and Conservation and Importance of Species (CIS).  The method used was quantitative descriptive, involving 50 students as respondents. The instrument used consisted of 27 items that were analyzed using One Way ANOVA to determine the average score and significant differences based on gender and student scores. The results showed that the average score of biodiversity literacy obtained a score of 2.08 with a less significant category (Low Biodiversity Literacy). Most of the indicators are at an average value below 2.50, only a small number of indicators have an average value above 2.50. In the CIB dimension, only 3 indicators have an average value of > 2.50 out of 5 indicators. In the TAPB dimension, only 1 indicator has an average > 2.50. While in other dimensions, the average value < 2.50. In addition, there was no significant difference in student scores based on gender. Thus, student biodiversity literacy still needs to be improved, especially in the aspects of real action and individual responsibility.
