Abstract

This study investigates the influence of leadership style, organizational climate, motivation, and organizational culture on teachers’ performance at SMA Negeri 1 Basa Ampek Balai. A quantitative research design was adopted, employing a survey method through the distribution of structured questionnaires to 50 teacher respondents. The collected data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis with the support of IBM SPSS version 26.0. The results of the descriptive analysis reveal that teachers’ performance, leadership style, motivation, and organizational culture are generally perceived at a good level, whereas the organizational climate is assessed as moderately good. The normality test indicates a significance value of 0.074, exceeding the standard threshold of 0.05, which confirms that the data are normally distributed. The partial hypothesis testing (t-test) demonstrates that leadership style, organizational climate, motivation, and organizational culture each exert a positive and statistically significant effect on teachers’ performance. In addition, the simultaneous hypothesis testing using the F-test (ANOVA) yields a significance value of 0.000, indicating that all independent variables collectively have a significant influence on teachers’ performance. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) is recorded at 0.717, suggesting that 71.7% of the variance in teachers’ performance can be explained by the combined effects of leadership style, organizational climate, motivation, and organizational culture, while the remaining 28.3% is attributed to other factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings emphasize the strategic role of school leadership in fostering a supportive organizational environment, strengthening motivation, and cultivating a positive organizational culture to enhance teachers’ performance. This study contributes valuable empirical evidence to the field of educational management, particularly within public senior high schools in regional contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing the income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang City from an economic perspective. The variables analyzed include business capital, education level, and digital technology as the main determinants of income. In addition, digital technology is also positioned as a mediating variable that links the effects of business capital and education on income. This research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis and mediation testing through the Sobel test. Data were collected from 200 MSME actors in Padang City using questionnaires. The results show that business capital and education have a positive and significant effect on income. Digital technology is also proven to have a significant influence and acts as a mediator in the relationship. The findings indicate that the increase in MSME income is not only determined by traditional economic factors but also by the level of digital technology utilization. Therefore, improving digital literacy and access to technology is an important aspect in strengthening MSME competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital marketing as a strategic approach to sustaining business performance. This study aims to examine the effect of digital marketing adoption on business sustainability among MSMEs in West Sumatra. Digital marketing adoption is operationalized through social media usage, e-commerce platform utilization, digital content quality, and digital marketing analytics usage. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method targeting MSMEs that have implemented digital marketing practices. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the support of IBM SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that e-commerce platform utilization, digital content quality, and digital marketing analytics usage have a positive and significant impact on business sustainability, whereas social media marketing usage does not exhibit a significant effect. These results indicate that effective utilization of e-commerce platforms plays the most dominant role in enhancing business sustainability, followed by the quality of digital content and the application of marketing analytics. The negative and significant constant suggests the presence of other influential factors beyond the proposed research model. From a policy perspective, the study highlights the need to prioritize strengthening e-commerce utilization, alongside improving digital content development and analytics capabilities through integrated and sustainable MSME capacity-building programs. Furthermore, this study recommends enhancing MSMEs’ digital literacy through continuous training and mentoring, while encouraging future research to incorporate additional variables and employ more comprehensive analytical methods.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work experience, work environment, and work discipline on the work ethic of employees at the District Head Office of Kumun Debai Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh City. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 33 respondents as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 25. The analysis procedure included validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that work experience, work environment, and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employees’ work ethic. Partially, work experience and work environment show a positive and significant influence on work ethic, while work discipline does not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that employees’ work ethic is more strongly shaped by adequate work experience and a supportive work environment than by work discipline that is predominantly administrative in nature. This study highlights the importance of enhancing work experience through continuous training and development, as well as creating a conducive work environment, as strategic efforts to improve employees’ work ethic and the quality of public services within local government institutions.
