Abstract

This study aims to test the model of project based learning by using a virtual group on the results of learning geography of high school students. The subjects of this study were students of Class X Senior High School 1 Lumajang even semester of academic year 2016/2017 consisting 2 classes. The X-IIS 1 class is set as the experiment class and the X-IIS 2 class as the control class. This is because students in both classes have the same or equivalent abilities based on middle test scores. This research is a quasi-experiment research with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design design. Instrument assessment of learning outcomes using essay tests. Assessment results data that are then analyzed using test-test with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows program.The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of project-based learning model using the virtual group to the students' geography learning outcomes. Based on pretest and post test differences shows that the mean score of the experimental class gain score (45,63) is higher than control class (30,02). The result of data analysis using independent sample t test showed that project based learning model obtained probability score (p-level) smaller than 0.05 with sign 0,00. The conclusion in this study that the learning model of project-based learning using the virtual group on the results of learning geography of high school students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan aktivitas manusia di sekitar Sungai Sub DAS Bedadung Tengah mendorong akumulasi jumlah limbah yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas air sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memetakan tingkat pencemaran air sungai berdasarkan konsentrasi parameter Fisika dan Kimia pada Sub DAS Bedadung Tengah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 8 lokasi yang dibagi dalam 8 segmen di sungai utama. Pengukuran tingkat pencemaran air sungai dilakukan secara insitu untuk parameter Fisika, pengambilan sampel dilakukan untuk analisis laboratorium pada parameter Kimia. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 PKAPPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi disemua parameter sesuai dengan kriteria baku mutu air kelas II, namun konsentrasi BOD pada lokasi 1 tidak sesuai dengan kriteria baku mutu air kelas II. Hal tersebut dikarenakan oleh adanya pencemaran limbah pabrik yang langsung di buang ke sungai. Nilai beban pencemaran selalu meningkat ketika menuju hilir. Meskipun sungai masih dalam kondisi tercemar ringan namun pemerintah tetap perlu memberlakukan peraturan yang tegas terutama di daerah segmen 1 yang sudah tidak sesuai dengan kriteria baku mutu. Abstract: The increase in human activities around the Bedadung sub-watershed is encouraging the accumulation of the amount of waste which has an impact on decreasing the quality of river water. This study aims to analyze and map the level of river water pollution based on the concentration of physical and chemical parameters in the middle Bedadung watershed. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach, sampling was carried out at 8 locations and divided into 8 segments in the main river. Measurement of river water pollution levels is carried out in situ for physical parameters, sampling is carried out for laboratory analysis on chemical parameters. Data analysis techniques, namely the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2001 PKAPPA. The results showed that the concentration in all parameters was following the criteria for class II water quality standards, but the BOD concentration at location 1 did not match the criteria for class II water quality standards. This is due to the pollution of factory waste which is directly disposed of into the river. The value of the pollution load always increases when going downstream. Even though the river is still in a lightly polluted condition, the government still needs to enforce strict regulations, especially in segment 1 areas that are no longer following the quality standard criteria.

Abstract

Land is a complex system that requires good management. Along with population growth, it will result in an impact of increasing both the quality and quantity of life necessities that can change land use. This research is deemed necessary to make an interpretation using remote sensing. The use of remote sensing (PJ) is very important in presenting spatial information related to the appearance of an area. The purpose of this study is to assess the accuracy and analyze object-based classification for mapping land use change in parts of Jember Regency using Landsat 8 imagery. The method is used in this study uses Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA), optimal box classifier for the classification process, visual interpretation. segmentation results to classify land use changes. Based on the results of the land use / cover classification capability test in Kaliwates, Sumbersari, Pakusari, Mayang and Silo Districts using the OBIA method, it shows an accuracy value of 94.28% for Landsat 8 images recorded in 2015, and an accuracy value of 98.57% for images. Landsat 8 recording for 2020.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android pada materi SIG (Sistem Informasi Geografi) dasar siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi) dan Evaluating (evaluasi). Media pembelajaran berbasis android yang dikembangkan selanjutnya divalidasi oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi untuk memberikan menilai terkait kelayakan dari media pembelajaran. Selanjutnya diujicobakan terhadap siswa. Tujuan uji coba adalah untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android pada materi sistem informasi geografi dasar siswa SMA dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor 79,5% untuk validasi media dan 78,34% untuk validasi materi. Hasil uji coba respon siswa menunjukkan siswa sangat tertarik pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan nilai kepraktisan 83,5% pada kelompok kecil dan 83% pada kelompok besar.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the plantation of oil palm in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit at Jemenang village Rambang Dangku sub-district Muara Enim regency South Sumatra P in 2012. The focuses of this research were the source of the raw materials, labor, transportation, and marketing. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The subject in this study was the plantation of oil palm in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit. For data collection, the researcher used observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. While data analysis with percentages were used as the basis for the interpretation and description in making of this research report. The results of this research showed that the plantation of oil palm in PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit was as following: 1) the origin of raw materials PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni entirely from farmers who are partners of the company, 2) the work force is working on PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni comes from within and outside the province of South Sumatra, 3) means of transportation on the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni entirely contract status, and 4) the marketing of their products are marketed both in Domestic and Export.Keywords : industry, palm oil

Abstract

Perairan pada suatu wilayah perlu mendapatkan akurasi identifikasi kualitas air yang sesuai dengan standar keperluan dalam pemanfataan penggunaannya. Tujuan penelitian untuk: (1) mengkaji persebaran kualitas air sungai irigasi pada lahan pertanian di lereng karst Gunung Sadeng Kecamatan Puger, Kabupaten Jember; (2) mengetahui pemetaan persebaran kualitas air sungai irigasi pada lahan pertanian di lereng karst Gunung Sadeng Kecamatan Puger, Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode survey yang digunakan untuk tahapan pengambilan dan pengukuran sampel air sungai irigasi pada area lahan pertanian di lereng karst Gunung Sadeng Kecamatan Puger, Kabupaten Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian berupa survey, pengukuran untuk data primer, uji laboratorium dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode IKA-NSF untuk penentuan kategori kualitas air sungai irigasi, metode deskriptif untuk identifikasi kondisi tanah dan pemetaan menggunakan software ArcGIS. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air menunjukkan terdapat indikator sampel yang melebihi batas mutu air yang direkomendasikan untuk pengairan irigasi. Hal tersebut cukup mempengaruhi kualitas air, sedangkan untuk kondisi tanah yang merupakan parameter pendukung menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Pemetaan persebaran kualitas air lokasi penelitian menujukkan hasil yang merata dengan indeks kategori kualitas air yang sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning products in the form of electronic student worksheets with live worksheets on lithospheric dynamics material in class X at Senior High School which has eligibility standards. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) research with the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development implementation and evaluation stages. The analysis stage includes performance analysis, needs analysis, curriculum analysis, student analysis. The design stage includes making learning devices, product design, and preparing research instruments. The development stage is determining the media used, validation, and revision. The implementation stage is the stage of implementing the E-LKPD that has been developed in a real situation in the classroom. The final stage is the evaluation stage which is carried out to analyze errors during data collection and can be done in each of the four stages above. This research was conducted at Senior High School Number 1 Jember with the research trial subjects were students of class X5 as many as 36 students. The research instruments used were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results showed that electronic student worksheets with live worksheets were feasible with a percentage achievement of 97.5% in the material aspect, 95.8% in the design aspect, 100% in the language aspect and 88%. overall assessment by geography learning practitioners.  The implementation of the E-LKPD trial required 2x meetings or 4 x 45 minutes of class time on January 11 and 18, 2022.  The results of student responses get very good criteria with an average percentage of 91.2%. From these data it can be concluded that the products developed are declared feasible and very good for use in learning geography, especially in high school lithospheric dynamics material.

Abstract

Kampung Naga is a traditional village that is quite unique in that it still maintains its local wisdom and culture to this day. The local wisdom that exists in Kampung Naga regulates all activities of the community itself and is comprehensive from various aspects, including the economic conditions of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic characteristics of the Kampung Naga community. To find out these characteristics the research method used is a qualitative description method. From the results of the study it was found that the economic characteristics of the Kampung Naga community were still very traditional and simple and put forward the concept of kinship and mutual cooperation.
