Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh deskripsi profil pemecahan masalah siswa audi­torial kelas X SLTA pada materi SPLDV. Penelitian ini mengggunakan metode kualitatif de­ngan pendekatandeskriptif kualitatif didasarkan pada langkah Polya. Hasil penelitian menun­jukkan profil siswa auditorial dalam memecahkan masalah SPLDV adalah cenderung meng­gunakan ciri siswa visual dan siswa kinestetik. Kata kunci: Profil Pemecahan Masalah; Masalah SPLDV; Gaya Belajar. Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pandemi yang berkepanjangan dan menutup berbagai sekolah mulai dari sekolah dasar sampai sekolah tinggi. Sehingga diperlukan adanya terobasan terbaru dalam metode pembelajaran yang dapat meninkatkan motviasi siswa untuk Kembali belajar. Seperti halnya pada siswa kelas V SD yang sudah lama meninggalkan sekolah. Diharapkan dengan metode yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kembali motivasi belajar siswa. Salah satu metode yang di anggap tepat oleh peneliti adalah metode PAKEM. PAKEM adalah singkatan dari Pembelajar Aktif, Kreatif, Efektif dan Menyenangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan terjun langsung ke lapangan untuk meneliti pengaruh penggunaan metode PAKEM terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, desainnya adalah “pre-test dan post-test one group design”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan motivasi belajar setelah penggunaan metode PAKEM yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 124 Batuasang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep geometri dari makanan khas yang ada di Toraja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi yaitu pendekatan empiris dan teoritis yang bertujuan mendapatkan deskripsi dan analisis mendalam tentang kebudayaan berdasarkan penelitian lapangan (fieldwork) yang intensif. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah menggali informasi melalui kepustakaan, wawancara kepada warga sekitar yang mengetahui tentang budaya/objek yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat konsep geometri pada makanan khas Toraja. Konsep bangun datar yang ditemukan ada tiga yaitu belah ketupat pada makanan deppa tori’, persegi panjang pada makanan jipang, dan lingkaran pada njo’ deppa (kue bolu khas Toraja). Sedangan konsep bangun ruang yang ditemukan adalah tabung yang terdapat pada makanan pa’ piong dan kerucut pada kaledo (lepet ketan). Konsep geometri yang ada pada makanan khas Toraja dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran di kelas agar mudah dipahami siswa karena sumber belajar berasar dari lingkungan siswa.

Abstract

At this time students must be introduced to learning mathematics that is meaningful, fun and not boring. Through STEAM learning, teachers can create learning that is directly related to everyday life so as to create fun learning that can increase student motivation to learn. This study aims to find out and describe how a STEAM approach based on local content can make mathematics meaningful and fun. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that there are several cultural riches in the Donggala district that can be explored and used as alternative media for learning mathematics, including banava batik with coffee motifs, clove motifs and traditional motifs. Integrating local content in the STEAM approach can show students that mathematics is not an abstract thing that has no relevance to life, but is very closely related to real life. This learning will make mathematics which is abstract and tends to be boring become more real for students

Abstract

The integration of ICT in learning is a component of 21st-century learning. Science and technology always develop rapidly from time to time.  The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge and abilities of junior high school mathematics teachers in STEM learning. This research was also conducted to determine student knowledge related to STEM learning. This study used a mixed method. The results showed that most junior high school mathematics teachers in the Donggala district did not understand STEM/STEAM learning. The teacher has also not been able to apply the STEM/STEAM approach in the learning process. Therefore, it is hoped that mathematics teachers in the Donggala district can apply a STEAM-based approach combined with local wisdom in the Donggala district. And it is necessary to conduct training to improve teacher competencies related to STEM learning.

Abstract

Pendekatan STEM (Sains, Teknologi, Rekayasa, dan Matematika) adalah salah satu strategi penting dalam dunia pendidikan yang akan membantu menciptakan SDM yang kompeten di era digital saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang memfokuskan pada implementasi pendekatan STEM dan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning Model dalam mata pelajaran IPA/Sains di Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Donggala telah berjalan dengan baik. Guru-guru IPA dari berbagai Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Rayon 1 Kabupaten Donggala menunjukkan tingkat antusiasme yang tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Antusiasme ini muncul karena para guru merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan Project Based Learning Model yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan STEM. Mereka menyadari, bahwa pada dasarnya mereka telah mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip dasar STEM dan Project Based Learning Model tanpa menyadari hal tersebut. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pendekatan dan model pembelajaran ini memiliki potensi besar untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA dan meningkatkan literasi sains siswa di Kabupaten Donggala.

Abstract

In carrying out weddings, the Batanghari people carry out ceremonies according to traditions inherited from generation to generation from their ancestors, even though the majority of the Batanghari people adhere to the Islamic religion. However, in the implementation of wedding ceremonies, some traditions are still considered inconsistent with Islamic teachings, which in turn becomes a problem, namely that customs/traditions take priority over the Shari'a. As a religious society and the majority adhere to the Islamic religion, the values that dominate the wedding ceremony procession should be the Islamic teachings that they adhere to. These concepts will be researched about the traditions of the Batanghari community and Islamic teachings, especially regarding the process of traditional ceremonies at weddings. The method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are: (1) The process of implementing customs that apply in marriages in the people of Batanghari Regency is carried out comprehensively and systematically in nine series, the sequence of which includes caring for single children and girls, choosing a mate, negotiation period, handing over customary delivery. , the wedding ceremony, the day of anchoring the lek, the handover between the bride and groom, the teaching and reprimanding of the bride's sapo, and the iwa. (2) The philosophical basis of the existence of marriage customs and their implementation as a crystallization of the values upheld by the people of Batanghari Regency emerged due to several factors, namely the existence of harmony between customs and Islamic law, the formation of a community which supports the Jambi customary system, the role of LAM. (3) The perspective of Islamic law regarding the activities that take place in the marriage customs of the people of Batanghari Regency is in harmony with Islamic values. However, minor specific aspects in particular series experience expansion and even conflict with Islamic law.
