Abstract

Problem the oftenly rises is when an artefacts remain buried and unintentionally unearth thereafter by any activities which unrelated to cultural preservation.  In order to keep the artefact from the treath of changing land used, such as when company expanded their land. This study tried to discuss the use of geolectrical methods in assuming the position of artefak particularly artificial stone laid beneath land surface nearby Megalitic Garden of Pekauman. The geoelectric method is a way to obtain the image of the subsurface structure by using of different resistivity on each material. Through this method, we can depicted material composition such as clay, water, gravel and andesite. This shows that the geoelectric method could provide a based to determine average position of any artefak under the surface. The results of the research indicate that from four test area in the Plywood Industry complex development area in Bondowoso, we detected a figure of cuboid shape stone lied 4 meter under surface.  Therefore it can be concluded that this method proved effective in determine position of suspected artefak before doing excavation. In it will help archeolog in searching the right position of unearthen artefak. As the time pass on and the land came to scarce, this method will give preliminary information of suspected-artefak, so the owner will not removed artefak when they make expansion area or contruction building.

Modernization pioneered by Marshaal Daendels in 1808 has reach its peak in 1903.  The old centralized government system of has been dismantled and replaced by a new modern institution one. The power of Regent reduced extremely. Part of his power was took over by Major, as a head od a new body of Government who administered the city.  The new wave also occurred in a middle-sized city of Madiun. Located in hinterland of Java, the government and people living inside must adapt tonew modern city administration. This article tried to describe the impact of new system, and problem faced by government on those process from 1918  to 1941. In order to find this answer, this research is conducted by historical methods. Finding, appreciating, interpreting information and presenting are the four steps in this method. From the research, it can be concludes that this regulation raised many problems. Profit share between City Government and Construction Corporation, shows the problem in financial matter. The local budget indicates that municipal city of Madiun are still strongly depend on capital flows from Batavia. The plan of self-financing local government is not making sense since most indigenous people reluctant to pay retribution or new tax as the consequences of new Municipal system. Even so, financial support from Central Government pave the way for Madiun in modernizing the infrastructure such as new roads, good and clean central market, strict control on flesh traffic, drainage system, street lighting, fire brigade, watering and cleaning service and city water plants. Otherwise, decentralization play important role in making modern landscape for colonial city in interior Java. It also providing fields of political training for many prominent indigenous elites.

Abstract

This study attempted to describe the correlation between village purification and water spring worshipping – which are held every year by villagers nearby Penanggungan sites, as well as the sustainability of archaeological sites and their surrounding environment. Considering the research object was a cultural phenomenon, qualitative research was applied in describing and analyzing the finding.  This research method demanded more detailed information of the sequent events, their components, and meanings. Therefore, we began the research activities by observing, describing, interpreting, and reporting every moment in the rituals. In the second stage, we attempted to correlate between this ritual proceed to the preservation of the water supply. Our research showed that ritual has played an important role in preserving the ecological balance between human beings and nature. When the people believed to the creed that temples and other archaeological objects were home to spiritual power and figured out the last civilization, they would not make any damages to the soil, illegal logging, and a fire in the ridge. Any disturbance to their mountain would give an effect on their means of life since most of the villagers were rice growers. It also proved that there was a connection between popular belief about the sacred place and environment conservation.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the era of Society 5.0 demands the integration of the latest technology to create effective and relevant learning. Especially for a professional teacher as a learning innovator who should have multiple skills.  In the destructive era, a fundamental change needs to be made by professional teachers. This research aims to develop a Spatial.io-based virtual classroom model to improve the multiskills of Teacher Professional Programme (PPG) students through a systematic approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Spatial.io, as a three-dimensional (3D) space-based immersive platform, is designed to support collaborative interaction, creative exploration, critical thinking, and experiential learning, which are key in equipping students with communication, technology, and problem-solving skills. The dynamics of physical, social, and cultural geography diversity necessitate a collaborative classroom that can facilitate prospective social studies teachers to study together by bringing out the characteristics of their respective environments. This study involved the development and implementation of the Spatial.io virtual classroom prototype which was tested on PPG students in various regions of the archipelago. The results showed that the integration of the ADDIE model in the development of this virtual classroom ensured a learning design that was responsive to student's needs and the local context. The evaluation phase showed significant improvements in learning engagement, collaborative ability, and multiskill mastery, compared to traditional online learning methods. The Spatial.io-based virtual classroom model designed through the ADDIE approach provides an innovative solution in supporting educational transformation in the digital era. This study suggests wider implementation and customization for various learning contexts, to create a competent, adaptive, and globally ready workforce.

Abstract

Every culture develops based on geographical conditions where deepening with historical geography is needed to see the pattern of social life of the community. The social life of the ancient Javanese community formed a structured pattern based on economic, social, political, and religious aspects, one of which was in the Jayawarsa territory. Previous research was only limited to textual contexts such as inscriptions and kakawin so that it has not explored other factors such as geographical conditions and cultural heritage itself in the form of artifacts. This research examines the economic pattern and social life of the community in the reign of Sri Jayawarsa through Geohistorical approach with variables of History and Geography. Based on geographical, archaeological, and inscription interpretation data, this research reconstructs the community structure formed around Sirah Keteng site and Mruwak Village. The historical geography approach highlights human interaction with their environment in building spatial systems, economic patterns and cosmological orientation. The results also show the existence of a community pattern involving people's settlements, the territory of the clergy, and royal land grants. This study can enrich the understanding of the interrelation of spatial and cultural aspects in the development of the social and economic structure of the Jayawarsa period.

Abstract

The focus of this article's discussion is on national-oriented history learning based on the 2010 AFF football history events. The aim of this research is to examine the historical events of Indonesian Football at the 2010 AFF as a reflection in national-oriented history learning. The method used in this research is the historical research method which consists of four stages, including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The sources used in this research are primary sources which include newspaper archives and video replays of the 2010 AFF matches. Apart from that, secondary sources are also used which consist of books, journals and previous research that are relevant to the themes and problems studied. . The results of this research are about how students respond to a historical event as a form of learning that must be examined critically and able to be reflected in real life. This study can be used as material for reflection to take better steps in the future. Like the AFF event in 2010, it can be used as a source of motivation for Indonesian football to be better, not the opposite. Because this is a point where initially success is not permanent but can experience change. One of the reasons is because there was an error at the end. If this is not addressed well, it will potentially cause disappointment. Of course, this phenomenon can be an important lesson, namely understanding that initial assessments do not always have a big and dynamic influence. By seeing or reflecting on this event, students are expected to be able to respond to national feelings wisely, one of which is through learning history with a national perspective.
