Abstract

The research and development aims to produce a product in the form of an investigation group-based biology learning module on mushroom material that is suitable for use as teaching materials for class X IPA SMA. The development of this module uses a Research and Development development model using a 4-D model, starting from looking for potential problems, collecting data, validating products, revising products, and testing usage products. The result of the development of a biology module based on the investigation group from the design aspect was obtained a percentage of "75.5%". The results of the material expert validation got a percentage of "90%" and the results of the student response test obtained a percentage of "87.2%". It can be concluded that the average percentage value is "84.2%" with the criteria "Very Good". So it can be concluded that the developed toothpaste is suitable for use as a reference for teaching materials in biology learning on mushroom material in schools.

Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) To determine the effect of the use of a mixture of moringa leaf flour and rice bran on the growth of quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica T), 2) To find out a good variation of feed for the growth of quails, 3) To find out whether the results of this study can be used as a source of learning biology for growth and development material in class XII in the form of student worksheets (LKPD). This research was an experiment, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 control, 3 treatments, and 6 replications, with P0: (Control) treatment of quail feed in the form of pellet feed BR 21, P1: treatment of supplementary feeding in the form of a mixture of moringa leaf flour 3%, 47% bran and BR 21 50% pellets, P2: additional feeding treatment in the form of a mixture of 4% Moringa leaf flour, 46% bran, and 50% BR 21 pellets, P3: Additional feeding treatment in the form of 5% Moringa leaf flour 45% bran and BR 21 50% pellets. This research was conducted in the Iringmulyo sub-district, Metro Timur, Metro City, from 20 December 2019 until 1 February 2020. Based on the results of research the influence effect of the use of a mixture of moringa leaf flour and rice bran on the growth of quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica T), it can be concluded that there is no increase body weight and length in quails, with the results of research on average weight P0 = 33,63 gram, P1 = 44,9 gram, P2 = 40,93 gram, P3 = 38,06 gram and the average length result data P0 = 10,06 cm, P1 = 11,4 cm, P2 = 10,5 cm, P3 = 10,46 cm. The results of this study can be used as a source of biology learning on the material for growth and development of class Xll in the form of a Student Worksheet (LKPD). The results of the validation of learning resources by experts' material and experts' design concluded that the Student Worksheet (LKPD) made by researchers was worthy to be used as a learning resource with an average score of 86,25 experts' material and 83,6 experts' design.

Abstract

The research about the effect of giving mixed moringa leaf flour (moringa oleifera lamk.) and rice bran to the production of broiler duck (anas platyrhynchos) as a source of learning biology material growth and development, this research aims to determine the effect of giving a mixture of moringa leaf flour (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) and rice bran on the production of broiler duck (Anas platyrhynchos), to find out the best dose of broiler duck production (Anas platyrhynchos), and to make Student Worksheet made can be used as a source of high school biology learning material for growth and development. The method used to this research is a completely randomized design (CRD), the treatment given is 4 treatments with 1 control and 3 treatments. Control (100% rice bran without moringa leaf flour), P1 (2.5 moringa leaf flour and 97.5% rice bran), P2 (5% moringa leaf flour and 95% rice bran), P3 (7.5% moringa leaf flour) and 92.5% rice bran). The parameters observed in this research were the weight and length of the broiler ducks (Anas platyrhynchos). The results of the research were tested using a parametric statistical test or what is commonly called the one-way ANOVA test, from this test the hypothesis h0 is accepted for the weight / weight of broiler ducks, the hypothesis h0 is accepted because fcount = 4,66 > ftabel = 2.95, this one-way ANOVA test shows no significant difference. of the four feed mixtures. whereas the h0 hypothesis was accepted for broiler duck body length, the h0 hypothesis was accepted because fcount = 4,58 > ftabel = 2.95, this one-way ANOVA test showed no significant difference between the four feed mixtures. The conclusion that no effect on the production of broiler ducks (Anas platyrhynchos). but in biology there is any effect 1113,38gr. The SWS (Student Worksheet) has used as a learning resource for high school biology on growth and development material.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of variations in learning lectures and team quizzes on the Human Excretory System material on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Way Bungur. The research method uses an experimental research approach with a research design using a completely randomized design with three treatments with 30 replications. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Way Bungur with the research population being class VIII students. This research sample consists of one class with a sample size of 30 students. In this research, 3 learning treatments were carried out in one class. This research data collection technique uses an essay test which is used at the end of the lesson and will then be analyzed with the results of the hypothesis test. From the results of the analysis using the One Way Anova hypothesis test (Completely Randomized Design) at a significance level of 5%, it shows that Fcount = 0.027 < Ftable = 3.10 so that H0 is accepted, meaning that the lecture method, Team Quiz and lecture method accompanied by Team Quiz learning do not affect student learning outcomes. The results obtained can be concluded that the three treatments have the same quality if adjusted to each material.

Abstract

Biology is a science related to finding out and studying aspects of the life of living creatures in the universe. Biology does not only contain concepts or theories but also includes processes and attitudes, all of which need to be developed. The aims of this research are 1) to determine the science process skills in the Plant Cell material of Yos Sudarso Metro High School students. 2) to determine the difficulty of science process skills in Plant Cell material for Yos Sudarso Metro High School students. The subjects of this research were class Data collection was carried out using observation sheets to assess science process skills during research activities based on practical activities and learning outcomes using written evaluation tests with multiple choice questions. The results of this research are in the form of science process skills and the difficulties experienced by students during learning, namely: (1) the form of skill in each indicator of science process skills is (a) Skills in using tools and materials, being able to use tools and materials well and being able to say the function of the microscope part is 36.6%. (b) in the observation skills of students who can observe objects well and accurately mention cell organelles and their functions by 10%. (c) in communication skills that can convey the results obtained accurately and completely by 0.3%. (2) the form of difficulty experienced by students for each question on plant cell material, namely: (a) the average percentage of difficulty experienced by students in completing the name of the inventor of the cell is 10%. (b) The average percentage of difficulties experienced by students in completing cell organelle analysis is 25.2%. (c) The average percentage of difficulties experienced by students in completing analyzing the function of cell organelles is 21.6%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative learning media in the form of web-based comics on biological material, especially about viruses. The background to this research is the low reading interest and learning motivation of students towards conventional biology textbooks. This research uses a 4D model (Analysis, Design, Development, Desiminate). The research participants consisted of class X students at one of the MA Muhammadiyah Purbolinggo. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations and interviews, and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. This testing is carried out by validating the media with material, language, design and student expert validators. The research results show that web-based comics have test scores above 80%, which means they are very suitable to be used as learning media so they are effective in increasing students' reading interest, learning motivation and understanding of biology material.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of an integrated Augmented Reality (AR) module that is valid based on design and material validity tests and can facilitate students and educators to learn the biology learning material on the human skeletal system. The method used in this research is research and development with a 4-D (Four D) model which consists of four main stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the module assessment by material experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 100% with "very good" criteria. The assessment by design expert validators obtained a percentage of 94.3% with "very good" criteria. Modules that have been developed based on assessments by experts are then tested on students. Students' responses to the module in the language aspect obtained a percentage score of 91.33% with the criteria "very good", in the material aspect they obtained a percentage score of 88% with the criteria "very good", and in the design aspect they obtained a percentage score of 85.67% with the criteria "very good". The module results show that the integrated Augmented reality module developed is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1)produced LKPD (Students’s workseet) based on PBL learning models. 2) to utilize natural resources in the form of the Bekri River which can be used as learning media for students. The research was carried out through 4 stages, that is defining, design, development, and dissemination. In the define stage, the researcher conducted a survey at MA Bustanul Ulum Jaya Sakti for seeking the problems that occurred through interviews and observation steps with Biology subject teachers. In the design phase, the researcher compiles the LKPD (Students' Worksheet) development plan to be developed. In the development phase, the researcher produced LKPD (Students' Worksheet) based on PBL learning models on the subject matter of environmental change. At this stage, the validation process of the product feasibility was also carried out by material experts, subject teachers, design experts, and the trial process for students at MA Bustanul Ulum Jaya Sakti. The percentage results obtained from the validation of material experts by 88% -92%, design experts by 90% -94%, subject teachers 92%, and student trials by 84% -94%, this states that the LKPD (Students' Worksheet) developed is feasible to be used in the learning process.
