Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji arti moral yang terdapat dalam iklan sirup Marjan berjudul “Baruna Sang Penjaga Samudera” yang ditayangkan di YouTube pada tahun 2023. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pesan toleransi yang disampaikan secara jelas maupun tersirat dengan pendekatan semiotika dari Roland Barthes. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang mengumpulkan data dalam bentuk kata-kata yang diambil dari adegan-adegan iklan Marjan “Baruna Sang Penjaga Samudera.” Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengamati secara mendalam tiga adegan utama yang secara simbolis menggambarkan pesan moral tentang toleransi. Analisis data menggunakan kerangka semiotika Roland Barthes, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk menemukan kode-kode simbolik yang mewakili nilai-nilai moral tertentu. Elemen visual, ucapan, dan konteks cerita dalam iklan tersebut dijelaskan secara rinci untuk memahami cara pesan moral dibangun dan disampaikan kepada penonton. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa iklan Marjan “Baruna Sang Penjaga Samudera” tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana promosi produk, tetapi juga sebagai alat komunikasi sosial yang efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan moral tentang toleransi. Alur cerita yang ditampilkan melalui interaksi antar karakter dengan latar budaya yang berbeda menekankan makna toleransi yang ada dalam cerita. Selain itu, elemen visual seperti ekspresi wajah, pemilihan warna tertentu, dan latar belakang cerita berfungsi sebagai simbol-simbol yang menguatkan pesan moral tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami bagaimana iklan dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan sosial dengan cara yang tidak langsung namun efektif, serta membuka kemungkinan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai efektivitas penyampaian pesan moral melalui iklan, terutama dalam konteks budaya dan sosial yang lebih luas. Dengan penerapan semiotika, iklan tidak hanya dilihat sebagai alat promosi produk, tetapi juga sebagai media yang mengirimkan pesan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi cara pandang dan sikap audiens terhadap berbagai isu tertentu.

Abstract

Page is one of the means of communication for a institute that can not be inevitable in the current  development of information technology today. The purpose of this study was to find out how the reader's perception of the website educational institutions in communicating their vision and mission. Using the method of qualitative descriptive study the research object Udinus page readers Semarang who are stakeholders. The results of the study reflect on the reader's perception of the page that conveys that reflect Udinus page as a page that is engaged in the field of education with the reputation of the institution which is prominent in the field of information technology. There needs to be improvement in conveying information in the field of entrepreneurship because the eyes of the readers who become informants in this research, news and events related to entrepreneurship has not been managed properly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami efektivitas influencer marketing dalam meningkatkan popularitas brand kosmetik di kalangan Generasi Zdengan pendekatan kualitatif. Influencer marketing telah menjadi strategi yang banyak diterapkan oleh brand dalam menarik perhatian konsumen muda, terutama Generasi Zyang cenderung aktif di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan teknik wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 informan Generasi Z yang memiliki ketertarikan terhadap brand kosmetik .Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa influencer marketing berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan popularitas kosmetik yang BPOM, khususnya melalui pengaruh dari kredibilitas influencer,relevansikonten,serta produk keterkaitan emosional yang dibangun antara influencer pengikutnya. Informan mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor tersebut membuat mereka semakin mengenal dan tertarik terhadap produk-produk Erigo. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemilihan influencer yang tepat serta pendekatan konten yang autentik dapat memperkuat brand image di kalangan Generasi Z.

Abstract

This work focused on incorporating AI tool with traditional method for speaking assessment. The descriptive qualitative has been implemented to complete this research. Problem encountered during English pronunciation was failing to distinguish between short vowel and long vowel. By employing traditional and AI tool, students got numerous benefits. They may enjoy learning with the flexibility of time and they also can engage face to face interaction while using traditional method furthermore, it is essential to acknowledge AI tool with the limitation and drawbacks. AI tool do not give the same stage of personal interconnection and on-going response as a human facilitator.

Abstract

The goal of this research is describing the relationship between language landscapes and communication strategies to promote cultural heritage tourism. To analyze the data a research method was selected using descriptive qualitative with collecting data through dept interview, observation, and photographing. Meanwhile Linguistic landscapes uses as the object of this research and the result shows that lingustic landscapes and communication strategies can be intertwined to promote cultural heritage tourism.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred at the end of 2019 had a significant impact on various sectors of activity in the world, including Indonesia. Various actions were taken as steps to overcome these problems. One of them is in the education and health sector for children, namely the psychological vulnerability of children and the level of depression that occurs due to the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon. Through educational games, it is believed that it can help things related to child psychology. The purpose of this research is to create an educational game of snakes and ladders that can be used to help the trauma healing process in children due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this design is an explanatory descriptive method using the SMCR communication approach. Through this method, educational messages regarding the COVID-19 pandemic that children still have to deal with should be treated with caution and there is no need to be afraid as long as they adhere to health protocols. The results of this study are the creation of a prototype design of the snake and ladder game "PostCov" as an alternative new educational media as a form of innovation in delivering information as well as a form of play therapy in helping psychological problems that are vulnerable to occur in children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja terhadap mutu pelayanan karyawan bank rakyat Indonesia Balikpapan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu variabel terikat yakni mutu pelayanan dan variabel bebas yakni motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja. Teknik penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan bank raykat Indonesia Balikpapan sebanyak 95 karyawan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah metode analisa deskriptif dan analisa regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh psotif dan signifikan antara pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap mutu pelayanan dengan nilai beta = 0.393, t hitung > t tabel = 4.180 > 1.986, dan p = 0.000, terdapt pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan kerja terhadap mutu pelayanan dengan nilai beta = 0.227, t hitung > t tabel = 2.416 > 1.986, dan p = 0.018, terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja terhadap mutu pelayanan dengan F hitung > F tabel = 16.212 > 3.071, R2 = 0.261, dan p = 0.000.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, including gastrointestinal cancer, which continues to increase in prevalence. One contributing risk factor is long-term alcohol consumption. This study aims to determine the relationship between alcohol consumption and the incidence of gastrointestinal cancer. The study design used a scoping review through four databases, namely ScienceDirect, PubMed, SpringerLink, and Medline. Articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, with the screening process following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The selected articles were then synthesized using the Guidance for Conducting Systematic Scoping Review (2020) guidelines. A total of seven articles met the criteria. Various types of gastrointestinal cancer related to alcohol consumption were found, including colorectal, esophageal, stomach, and liver cancer, and even breast cancer. Most studies examined current and past patterns of alcohol consumption. Overall, the findings of this study prove that alcohol consumption, whether in the past, present, or cumulative, is associated with an increased incidence of gastrointestinal cancer, especially colorectal cancer.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) improvement in mathematics learning activities through the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, (2) increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning models, (3) how much tangent material increases the mathematics learning activities and results circle on class VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Warureja semester 2 of the school year 2017/2018 with the implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, with the research population being students of class VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Warureja in the year 2017/2018, which numbered 34 children with the number of each cycle carried out with 4 (four) stages namely; action planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The conclusions from the results of classroom action research are: (1) through the application of concrete jigsaw cooperative learning models can increase mathematics learning activities by 8.24%, ie from cycle 1 by 62.94% with fairly active criteria to 71.18% at cycle 2 with active criteria, (2) the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning by 10.59%, that is in the first cycle of 65.29% increased to 75.88% in cycle 2.
