Abstract

AbstractThis study is a design to develop learning module with the considering of learner's appropriate ability and their respond to Sains Learning module based on Newton's Law problems The method of this study is Research and Development used Borg & Gall models with limited to the seventh stage. The subject of this study is Sains learning module based on  the problems that will be done by VIII Grades of MTs Islamiyah Pontianak. The shape of this module consists of a cover, preface, table of contents, introduction, literature review and conclusions. The result of data indicate that this module is appropriate to used as the learning material with the persentage 82,22% (very high) and the appropriateness graphics 81,11% (very high). Learners respond on this module is 79,77% (high). The result of this study showes that Sains Learning Module based on Newton's Law Problem is appropriate as the learner's independent learning material. Keywords:  Development, Problem Based Learning Module

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the learning achievement of class VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak on temperature and changes by applying a guided inquiry model. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Determination of the sample in this study using the Intact Group Random Sampling method with the number of class VII E SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak as many as 29 students. To see whether there is an influence in using the guided inquiry model on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak, the classes selected to be sampled are VII E and VII F where class VII E is the control class and VII F is the experimental class. . The research instrument is a google form test to measure student achievement about temperature and change. Based on the data analyzed by Wilcoxon, there was an increase in student achievement from 33.7 to 77.5. The effectiveness of the application of "The Guided Inquiry Model" in learning physics is shown by the effect size of 3.15. That is a high category according to Cohen's category.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Students Achievement, Temperature and changes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Macromedia Flash Pro 8 on business materials and simple machines on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The form of this research is a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used measurement techniques, carried out by collecting test results given before and before treatment (treatment). Data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS for descriptive analysis and Wilcoxon test, then effect size analysis. The results showed that (1) the students' learning outcomes at the pretest were 7.44 and increased by 1.2 after treatment to 8.64 at the posttest. (2) Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a p value (Asymp. Sig 2) of 0.001 which was smaller than the threshold of 0.05 (p 0.05) this indicates that there is a difference between pretest and posttest so that it can conclude the use of macromedia flash pro 8 has an effect on student learning outcomes. (3) The use of macromedia flash pro 8 is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the calculation of the effect size, Cohen's obtained an effect size value of 0.91 which is included in the high category. So that the results of this study are expected to be a consideration for schools and teachers in choosing effective learning media to improve student learning outcomes.
