Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of Selaginella that exist in Curug Embun Waterfall, North Lubuklinggau I, South Sumatra. This research method is a qualitative descriptive type. Sampling using roaming and documentation methods. Data were analyzed by observing specimens and identification by scanning morphological characters. The results showed that the kinds of Selaginella found were Selaginella wallichii (Hook. & Grev.) Spring, Selaginella intermedia (Blume) Spring., Selaginella plana (Desv.) Hieron., Selaginella doederleinii Hieron, Selaginella willdenowii (Desv.) Backer., Selaginella ornata Spring., Selaginella sp.1 and Selaginella sp.2. In conclusion, there are eight types of Selaginella in the Curug Embun Waterfall area. Keywords: Curug Embun Waterfall, Lubuklinggau, Selaginella

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis ikan, indeks keanekaragaman dan faktor abiotik di sungai Rawas Desa Lawang Agung Kecamatan Muara Rupit Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara Provinsi sumatera Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menangkap langsung sampel yang ada di lokasi yang telah ditentukan yang terdiri dari tiga stasiun, yaitu stasiun 1 (hulu), stasiun 2 (tengah), dan stasiun 3 (hilir). Penangkapan ikan dilakukan dengan cara memancing, menjala, dan menggunakan bubu. Memancing dan menjala dilakukan pada pagi hingga sore hari, sedangkan pemasangan bubu dilakukan pada sore hari dan diangkat kembali pada pagi hari. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung indeks keanekaragaman, indeks kemerataan, dan indeks dominansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 11 spesies ikan yang terdiri dari 8 famili dan berjumlah 131 ekor ikan. Famili yang paling banyak ditemukan ialah famili  Cyprinidae. Indeks keanekaragaman pada stasiun 1 yaitu 1,74; stasiun 2 yaitu 2,16; dan stasiun 3 yaitu 2,09 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Indeks kemerataan pada stasiun 1 yaitu 1,0; stasiun 2 yaitu 0.98; dan stasiun 3 yaitu 1,0 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Indeks dominansi pada stasiun 1 yaitu 0,13; stasiun 2 yaitu 0,14; dan stasiun 3 yaitu 0,15 yang termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Faktor abiotik di Sungai rawas yaitu suhu udara berkisar 260C-300C, pH air berkisar 6-7, dan kejernihan air termasuk dalam kondisi keruh. Kata kunci: Ikan, keanekaragaman, sungai rawas  AbstractThis study aims to determine the type of fish, diversity index and abiotic factors in the Rawas River, Lawang Agung Village, Muara Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. Data collection was carried out by directly capturing samples at a predetermined location consisting of three stations, namely station 1 (upstream), station 2 (middle), and station 3 (downstream). Fishing is done by fishing, netting, and using traps. Fishing and netting are carried out in the morning until late in the evening, while the traps are installed in the afternoon and raised again in the morning. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the diversity index, evenness index, and dominance index. The results showed that there were 11 species of fish consisting of 8 families and totaling 131 fish. The most commonly found family is the Cyprinidae family. The diversity index at station 1 is 1.74; station 2 which is 2.16; and station 3 which is 2.09 which is included in the medium category. The evenness index at station 1 is 1.0; station 2 is 0.98; and station 3 which is 1.0 which is included in the high category. The dominance index at station 1 is 0.13; station 2 which is 0.14; and station 3 which is 0.15 which is included in the low category. The abiotic factors in the Rawas River are air temperature ranging from 260C-300C, water pH ranging from 6-7, and water clarity including cloudy conditions. Keywords : Fish, diversity, Rawas river

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat Beringin Tiga pada umumnya dan kelompok tani khususnya dalam dalam pemasaran dan manajemen usaha produk pupuk organik cair yang telah berhasil mereka produksi. Limbah sayuran di daerah ini cukup besar karena berasal dari pengumpul sayuran di desa-desa sekitarnya. Selain menyebabkan polusi dan kerusakan lingkungan, limbah sayuran juga dapat membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan karena limbah sayuran dibuang di bahu jalan penghubung provinsi yang menyebabkan tanah longsor. Selain mampu mengatasi masalah pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan, kegiatan ini juga dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa setempat. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung. Hasil dari program ini yang telah dilakukan adalah mitra memiliki pengetahuan untuk mengemas, mempromosikan, memasarkan dan mengelola bisnis pupuk organik cair. Selain itu mitra memiliki kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam memproduksi dan memasarkan pupuk organik cair dari limbah sayuran. Mitra juga mampu memasarkan produk pupuk organik cair dengan keuntungan Rp. 1.274.000 dalam satu produksi. Hasil dari program ini juga berupa pembentukan koperasi sederhana.

Abstract

This program aims to help the people of H. Wukirsari Village to be able to produce compost from household organic waste using the Takakura method. Wukirsari is one of the villages in Tugumulyo Subdistrict, Musirawas Regency, South Sumatra Province, which has a community including housewives who are active in planting TOGA organically but has not been supported about knowledge and skills about the process of making compost from organic waste. Yet by having the skills to make their own fertilizer can reduce the cost of purchasing fertilizers and strongly supports organic agriculture. This technology transfer on compost making is an effort to utilize household waste which usually only accumulates and creates unpleasant odors. The application of the Takakura method in composting will dispel the notion that up to now states that making compost requires a large place, is heavy carried out by housewives, and must be dirty. Therefore it is necessary to conduct compost fertilizer training using the Takakura method. To achieve this goal the methods used are observation, socialization, demonstration, training and continued with direct practice. The results of this activity are an increase in partner knowledge from an average value of initial knowledge of 40.9 and an average value of partner knowledge after training of 87.6 with an N_Gain value of 0.8 with a high category. In addition to knowledge partners also have skills in making compost using the Takakura method with an average partner skill of 93.6 and are in the very good category. The results of this activity also produced compost from household organic waste made by partners for the partners themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of jackfruit skin compost fertilizer (Artocarpus heterophyllus) with the takakura method on the growth and productivity of the cherry tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) plant. The study was conducted at the STKIP-PGRI Biology Garden in Lubuklinggau. Using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 repetitions, namely P0 + (NPK), P0- (growing media), P1 (318 grams), P2 (381 grams), P3 (445 grams) and P4 (509 grams). The research parameters in the form of growth parameters include plant height and number of leaves, productivity parameters include the number of flowers, the number of fruit plants and the weight of fruit plants. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and analyzed with Anova. Compost fertilizer had no effect on the observation of plant height of Fe 1.83 <Ft 2.77, on observing the number of flowers Fe 0.43 <Ft 2.77, on observing the number of fruit Fe 2.21 <Ft 2.77. On the parameters of the number of leaves the data obtained were significant Fe 3.04> Ft 2.77, the weight of the data obtained was significant Fe 4.88> Ft 2.77. It can be concluded that jackfruit skin waste compost with takakura method has no effect on the height, number of flowers and the number of cherry tomato plants, but has an influence on the number of leaves and the weight of the fruit planted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of soil surface insects, in the Bukit Gatan area, Musi Rawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a pitfall trap and using a random sampling method. The results showed that the types of ground surface insects contained 3 orders, 5 families and 10 species.The results of the analysis of the ecological index of soil surface insects in the Gatan hill area, Musi Rawas Regency, namely the diversity index (H') 1.241 in the low category, Evennes index (E') 0.64 in the medium category, and the dominance index (C)0.277 in the medium category.The abiotic factors in the Bukit Gatan area, Musi Rawas Regency at the research site are the average air temperature 29℃, average soil pH 6.5, and average soil moisture 85.3%.Diversity of soil surface insects in the Bukit Gatan area, Musi Rawas Regency is in the low category.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the types of Pteridophyta and to determine the index of diversity, dominance, and evenness in the Botak Hill. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection techniques in this study were exploratory methods and purposive sampling techniques. Based on the results of the study found as many as 1620 individual, consist of 24 species, 16 genera, 8 families and 4 orders. The results of the analysis of the diversity index of 2.851 (medium category), the dominance index value of 0.06 (low category), the evenness index of 0.679 (high category). There were 24 species of ferns found in Botak Hill, diversity was in the medium category, dominance was in the medium category and evenness was in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis lumut yang ada di Kawasan Bukit Reli Kabupaten Musi Rawas, Sumatera Selatan. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan metode observasi lapangan dengan metode jelajah. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian di kawasan Bukit Reli menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 22 jenis dari 4 kelas dan 15 famili lumut antara lain Marchantia polymorpha L., Notothylas javanica (Sande Lac.) Abstract

AbstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis lumut dan faktor abiotik di Kawasan Air Terjun Sungai Numan Kecamatan Padang Ulak Tanding Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dengan metode jelajah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 8 spesies lumut yaitu Marchantia polymorpha L., Dumortiera hirsuta, Riccia sorocarpa, Philonotis hastata, Phaeoceros leavis, Hyophila javanica, Jungermannia sp, dan Ectropothecium folciforme yang tergolong ke dalam 4 Kelas yaitu Marchantiopsida, Bryopsida, Anthocerotopsida, dan Jungermanniaopsida. Seluruhnya dari 6 Ordo yaitu Marchantiales, Bryales, Notothyladales, Pottiales, Jungermanniales, dan Hypnales,  8 Famili (Marchantiaceae, Dumortieraceae, Ricciaceae, Batramiaceae, Notothyladaceae, Pottiaceae, Jungermanniaceae, dan Hypnaceae), dan 8 Genus (Marchantia, Dumortiera, Riccia, Philonotis, Phaeoceros,  Hyophila, Jungermannia, dan Ectropothecium). Hasil pengukuran faktor abiotik, di bagian atas yaitu memiliki pH 4.5, suhu 31°C, dan kelembapan 40-60%, sedangkan bagian bawah memiliki pH 6.8, suhu 29°C, dan kelembapan 70-98%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the development process, validity, reliability, and practicality of the 4C integrated science process skills assessment instrument in high school biology learning. This research was a type of development research with development steps including determining the purpose of preparing the instrument, looking for relevant theory or scope of material, compiling instrument item indicators, compiling instrument items, content validation, revising based on validator input, conducting tests on appropriate responses to obtain response data participants, perform validity and reliability analyses, and assemble the instrument. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau City. Data analysis was performed by analyzing content validity using the Aiken index formula, construction validity using exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and reliability using Cronbach's alpha formula. The results of this study were that the 4C integrated science process skill assessment instrument in high school biology learning which was developed was valid with an Aiken V index value of 0.87 and was included in the high category, and the developed instrument contains aspects that are feasible to use which were included in 4 factors. The instrument for assessing the 4C integrated science process skills in high school biology learning was developed to be reliable with a reliability coefficient of 0.729. The 4C integrated science process skills assessment instrument for high school biology learning was developed practically with a practical value of 85.23% which was included in the very practical category.
