Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan berpotensi antimalaria, bagian-bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai antimalaria, dan cara pengelolahan tumbuhan antimalaria oleh masyarakat di kecamatan Rupit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan menggunakan metode survei dengan jelajah. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mengenai identifikasi tumbuhan berpotensi antimalaria di Kecamatan Rupit Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara pada tanggal 13 Desember 2023 -13 Januari 2024 ditemukan 26 jenis tumbuhan yang terdiri dari 24 famili. Bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan sebagai antimalaria oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Rupit yaitu daun (33,3%), sedangkan bagian tumbuhan lain yang digunakan yaitu akar (3,0%), batang (9,0%), rimpang (6,0%), buah (21,2%), biji (3,0%), rimpang (6,0%), dan bunga (6,0%). Cara pengolahan tumbuhan berpotensi antimalaria yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Rupit yaitu direbus (50%), sedangkan cara pengelolahan tumbuhan yang lain yaitu ditumbuk ( 13,1%), diparut (5,2%), diperas (5,2%), tanpa diramu (5,2%), direndam (5,2%), dan dikeringkan (5,2%). Abstract

Famili Dryopteridaceae, Air Terjun Sungai Numan Family Dryopteridaceae, River Waterfall Numan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui famili Dryopteridaceae di kawasan Air Kawasan Air Terjun Sungai Numan Kecamatan Padang Ulak Tanding Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Provinsi Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang Eksplorasi jenis tumbuhan paku dari famili Dryopteridaceae ditemukan 5 jenis spesies yang terdiri dari Stenochlaenae palustris, Nephrolepis biserrata, Nephrolepis exaltata, Nephrolepis cordifolia, dan Ploecnema irregularis. Faktor abiotik di Kawasan Air Terjun Sungai Numan Kecamatan Padang Ulak Tanding Kabupaten Rejang Lebong diperoleh pH tanah 6,7-7,0, kelembaban tanah 20%- 40% dan suhu udara 28°C-31°C. This study aims to determine the Dryopteridaceae family in the River Waterfall area, Padang Ulak tanding disrtict, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of research on the exploration 0f fern species from the Dryopteridaceae family, it was found that 5 species consisting of stenochlaenae palustris, Nephrolepis biserrata, Nephrolepis exaltata, Nephrolepis cordifolia, and Ploecnema irregularis. Abstract

Purpose of the study: Improving the quality of research proposals is a challenge in Biology education at the tertiary level. Integrating project-based learning with artificial intelligence (AI) support offers an innovative approach to strengthening students’ proposal writing skills. This study aimed to determine the effect of AI-assisted project-based learning on the ability to write research proposals of Biology Education students. Methodology: This study used a pretest-posttest quasi-experiment design with a control group. Two classes of Biology Education students were purposively selected. The experimental class applied AI-assisted project learning, while the control class used conventional methods. Data were collected through the assessment of the research proposal rubric and analyzed by t-test to assess the difference between the scores of the control class and experimental classes’ scores. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using SPSS. Main Findings: The research finding show that the average score of the experimental class proposal writing ability of 86.2 is greater than that of the control class proposal writing ability of 78.7. The results also show that the Sig. 0.0001 is smaller than 0.05, meaning that AI-assisted project-based learning affects the ability to write research proposals. This finding indicates that AI effectively supports students in designing and writing better research proposals. Novelty/Originality of this study: Research on the use of AI in project learning to improve research proposal writing skills is still limited. This study contribute that AI effectively supports students in designing and writing better research proposals.
