Abstract

 This paper analyses the influence of economic crisis and the subsequent reforms on the oligopolistic nature of the Indonesian banking industry. Since the crisis, there have beensubstantial changes in competitive environment. How did these changes affect a banking industry in which the three teen largest banks accounted for over 70 per cent of market share? To estimate the degree of competition, we apply Bresnahan’s (1989) conjectural variation model. Using estimation models based on microeconomic foundations, this method allows us to derive the index of the firm’s market power that is calculated as the deviation of the market piece from the marginal coat as known as Lerner index. The estimated indicates that the Lerner index showed a rising trend in the post-crisis period. This result indicates the possibility of a decline in the degree of competition.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of previously sales, price of the goods, and price of subtitute goods to sales of sedan car. Independent variables used in this study previously sales, price of the goods, and price of subtitute goods, and prediction of sales tax on luxury goods. Shile the dependent variable in thisstudy was measured using sales of sedan cars the measured of the car unit is succesfully sold every year during in the period 2013-2017. The population in this study amounted to 24 sedan’s companies list on Combined Motor Vehicle Industry (GAIKINDO) during 2013 until 2017. Determination of the sample using purpossive sampling method and obtained a sample of 5 sedan’s companies based on certain criteria. The analysis tool used in the panel and the selected model is fixed effect model. The result show that previous sales has positively effect on the sales of sedan car, price of the goods has positive effect on the sales of sedan car. Meanwhile price of subtitute goods has negative effect on the sales of sedan car.

Abstract

Salah satu desa atau jorong yang sangat produktif dengan anyamannya adalah Jorong Taratak. Ibu-ibu dan anak perempuan di Jorong Taratak sangat produktif dalam menghasilkan berbagai macam anyaman. Anyaman yang mereka tekuni dari nenek moyang ini adalah anyaman dari bahan dasarnya rumput mansiang. Rumput ini banyak tumbuh di daerah payau atau rawa rawa Jorong Taratak dan rumput ini sangat kuat sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan dasar anyaman. Terkenal dengan produknya yaitu kambuik yaitu tas bulat besar untuk tas belanja kaum ibu ibu pada zaman dahulu. Sampai sekarang pun masih dibudayakan sebagai pengganti tas kresek atau tas plastik belanja ke pasar yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan pkm mengusung materi tentang Strategi UMKM Dalam Mendapatkan “KUR”. Adapun objek PKM adalah pada Kelompok Anyaman Mansiang Tabuan Jaya Jorong Taratak Nagari Kubang Kec. Guguak Kab. Lima Puluh Koto Sumatera Barat. Kelompok anyaman mansiang Tabuan Jaya terdiri dari 13 orang anggota termasuk Pengurus dan 2 orang Pembina. Jadi seluruh peserta pelatihan adalah sebanyak 15 orang. Peserta diberikan pemahaman mengenai modal kerja, cara mendapatkan dana KUR untuk modal kerja, manfaat dan konsekuensi dalam memperoleh dana KUR. Dengan adanya kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang pengertian dan pemahaman mengenai modal kerja, cara mendapatkan dana KUR untuk modal kerja. Lebih jauh lagi, diharapkan kegiatan PKM ini dapat berdampak positif pada anggota Kelompok anyaman mansiang Tabuan Jaya yakni mampu mengatasi dan mencari solusi yang terbaik dalam meningkatkan produksi anyaman mansiang, penjualan meningkat dan ekonomi masyarakat menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of profit level, debt level and institutional ownership to tax avoidance. The population in this study amounted to 18 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2013-2017. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 5 food and beverage companies based on certain criteria. Independent variables used in this study profit level, debt level and institutional ownership, and the dependent variable was measured using the tax avoidance the measured of the book tax difference (BTD). The analysis tool used is the panel regression and the selected model is a fixed effect model. The result showed that profit level has positive effect on the tax avoidance. Meanwhile the debt level does not have effect on the tax avoidance and institutional ownership has negative effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

It is generally seen that the number of poor people tends to decrease, and the unemployment rate also tends to decrease slowly, but economic growth has decreased. Therefore, this study wants to look at the factors that influence poverty and unemployment in Indonesia during the 2014-2018 period. The object of the research is to take a case in Indonesia using panel data which is a combination of time series data and cross section, where time series data are from 20014-2018 and cross sections are 33 provinces in Indonesia. The analytical tool used to answer the problems raised in this study is the Linear Data Panel Regression. The first step to do is to issue estimation results, namely Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, and Random Effect Model. The second stage is to choose the model using the Chow Test, Hausman Test and LM Test. The third stage is to analyze the magnitude of the coefficient, coefficient sign, significance test and goodness of fit test (coefficient of determination and Global Test). The test results show that the unemployment model uses alpha 10%, there are variables that have negative effects such as WAGE and Health, while RGDP, POP and EDUC have no statistical effect. The poverty model shows that of the five variables proposed in influencing the level of open unemployment at an error rate of 10% are RDGP, WAGE, EDUC and HEALTH while POP has no statistical effect. The final model shows statistically at a 10% error rate there is a positive influence on the level of open unemployment that has been influenced by RGDP, POP, WAGE, EDUC and HEALTH on poverty levels in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah memberikan dampak positif dan negatif terhadap pertumbuhan UMKM. Berdasarkan Katadata Insight Center (KIC, 2021), sebesar 82,9% UMKM merasakan dampak negatif sedangkan dampak positifnya hanya sebesar 5,9%. Salah satunya UMKM Yayasan Insan Palma Sejahtera yang berlokasi di Palmerah yang merasakan dampak negatif tersebut, diantaranya: keterbatasan modal, akses permodalan, minimnya pengetahuan terhadap lembaga keuangan, sumber pendanaan, kurang inovasi, dan keterbatasan dalam memasarkan produk serta turunnya penjualan. Permasalahan UMKM paling utama adalah kesulitan untuk mendapatkan modal tambahan dari lembaga keuangan. Hal ini dikarenakan minimnya pengetahuan UMKM terhadap lembaga keuangan atau sumber pendanaan, serta banyaknya persyaratan yang belum dapat dipenuhi oleh UMKM. Berdasarkan persoalan yang dihadapi UMKM tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para pelaku UMKM, yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan pelatihan. Adapun pelatihan yang diberikan terkait dengan pelatihan Literasi Keuangan Syariah. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa peserta UMKM yang memahami dan mengetahui lembaga keuangan konvensional sebesar 60, sedangkan dalam memamfaatkan dananya baru 50 persen. Mamfaat pelatihan dapat di liat dari hasil kusioner dari tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan yang sangat memahami materi yang di berikan sangat setuju sebesar 48 persen dan setuju sebesar 26 persen.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of macroeconomic variables changes on the financial performance of energy SOE’s such as PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero). These impacts are projected by using Macro Stress Test model. The results showed that from five macroeconomic variables (GDP Growth, exchange rates, oil price, interest rates, and inflation), only two variables that significantly affected the financial performance of the energy SOE’s, there are exchange rate and oil prince that have positive impact on Pertamina and PGN while at the same time give the negative impact on PLN.

Abstract

This study aims to see the determination of regional fiskal independence in 62 underdeveloped districts in Indonesia. This research data was obtained from secondary with a sample of 62 underdeveloped districts in Indonesia from the period 2014-2019. This research uses a Multiple Linear Regression analysis tool with panel data. The test results show that those that have a sign that is in accordance with expectations and statistically significant are economic growth and local revenue with an error rate of 5%, then H1 and H3 are accepted. While the poverty rate has no effect on the fiscal independence of 62 underdeveloped districts in Indonesia, H2 is rejected. The results of this study are expected to contribute to research on regional development and sustainable development in Indonesia, especially for studies on how to reduce the backwardness of districts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to estimate the influence of Value Added Tax (VAT), Income, Price and Payment Method on Demand. The data used is primary data using questionnaire techniques with data obtained through google forms. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. In this study, a sample of 213 respondents was used. The analysis method used is SEM analysis using the AMOS 23 application. The results showed that Value Added Tax (VAT) has a negative influence on demand, Income has no influence on demand, Price has a negative influence on demand and Payment Methods have a positive effect on demand.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh harga, promosi, pelayanan dan proses terhadap keputusan pembelian produk asuransi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian yang menjelaskan hubungan antar variabel penelitian dengan menguji hipotesis. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden. Penelitian ini menjelaskan dan menguji hubungan antara variabel bebas berupa tingkat harga, promosi, pelayanan, dan proses, dan variabel terikat terhadap keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan kuesioner kemudian dikumpulkan dan diolah menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis varian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga dan variabel pelayanan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sedangkan variabel promosi dan variabel proses berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk asuransi kesehatan. This study aims to examine the effect of price, promotion, service and process on purchasing decisions of insurance products. The method used is research that explains the relationship between research variables by testing hypotheses. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. This study explains and examines the relationship between the independent variables in the form of price levels, promotions, services, and processes, and the dependent variable on purchasing decisions. This research is a quantitative research and questionnaires are then collected and processed using variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the price variable and service variable had no effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, promotion variables and process variables affect purchasing decisions for health insurance products.
