Abstract

The event program hue malay is program talkshow that aims to provide the knowledge and information and features related to the Malay culture. This program was created based on the reality of the people of Riau who lack knowledge about the Malay culture. Serving this program can affect the view and build the public mindset about the Malay culture. Abstract

PDIP’s decision to carry Ahok showed the long journey of Ahok in Jakarta Governor Election 2017. In reporting of Ahok’s news is the result of framed construction by media’s reporters in accordance with the ideology and policy of Tempo.co and Detik.com. This research was conducted to see how Tempo.co and Detik.co construct Ahok’s news when carried by PDIP and how ideology in the news media. This research aims to determine the construction and the news media in reporting Ahok ideology when carried PDIP in online media Tempo.co and Detik.comThis research is using the qualitative method with data collecting technique are documentation, book study and interview. Subjects of this research are the journalists and the editorial of Detik.com and Tempo.co. Objects of this research are the news about Ahok in Jakarta’s Governor Election 2017 from 20 September until 22 September 2016. Data is analyzed by using framing analysis with Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M.Kosicki’s model.The results of this research indicate that: (1) Detik.com news frame by taking the viewpoint of one of the parties who supporting Ahok, which is PDIP. (2) Tempo.co framing news from the perspective of responses and attitudes in decision of PDIP. Abstract

In the legislative elections that took place in Pekanbaru City in 2014-2019 period the Pekanbaru City House of Representatives held a new legislative election, in which elections were held in many electoral districts, one of them in the electoral district IV (Dapil IV) located in Marpoyan Damai sub-district and Bukit Raya, from the number of party factions participating in the legislative elections of the Golkar faction were the ones who got the most votes. Golkar faction get the most votes for 7 seats of member of Dpril which divided in Dapil I, Dapil II, Dapil III, Dapil IV, and Dapil V from each Dapil. Dapil IV is the first highest voice of Golkar faction, Drs. H. Tarmizi Muhammad and the third highest voice of the Golkar faction, Mr. H. Herwan Nasri, S.T.This study uses descriptive analysis with qualitative approach, where data collected in the form of words, images and not the numbers. the selection of informants was done by purposive sampling technique by placing the people directly related to DPRD Member of Pekanbaru City Golkar Faction H. Herwan Nasri, S.T and Mr. Drs. H. Tarmizi Muhammad.Based on the results of field research that researchers do produce conclusions Political Communication member DPRD Pekanbaru Golkar Faction In the process of political communication in addition to closer to the community, convey political messages that will affect the audience with political messages delivered, convincing people with vision- mission that has been done before the political communication process. Abstract

Local government has started to give special attention in Riau Tourism sector lately. Riau tourism potential has been promoted. One of them is Rupat Island. Rupat Island has an interesting ocean tourism in Riau. Online news become a tool in spreading information among many medias. According to Undang-Undang No. 40 Tahun 1999 about Pers explaining that online media is a product of mass media if it is based on pers’ ethical code. Writer used qualitative descriptive methode. Writer used framing analysis Pan and Kosicki and agenda setting theory. Object of the research is news related to Pulau Rupat tourism in tripriau.com’s Wisata rubric from 19 April until 20 June 2016. Result shows that there is a framing from news’ syntax and rethoric. Meanwhile, for media agenda, tripriau.com focus on presenting Rupat as a tourism destination. With a feature packaging, tripriau.com only presents news that media wants. The negative things that Rupat has almost dissapear from the news. Point of view in this news comes from journalist’ and interviewer’ side. Though, tripriau.com keep maintaining its media idelogy in delivering news. Abstract

In the legislative general election which took place in Kuantan Singingi Regency in the period 2019-2023 the Regional Representative Council of the Kuantan Singingi District conducted a new legislative election, where the election was held at the constituency. Of the many party factions that participated in the legislative elections, the Golkar faction received the most votes. The Golkar faction won the most votes with 6 seats in the legislature. Likewise, the legislative election in the 2014-2019 period, the Golkar faction also won the legislative election by successfully sending 9 cadres to the legislative seats. This study aims to determine the political communication strategy of the Golkar Party in Kuantan Singingi Regency in winning the 2019 legislative elections, and also to find out what political marketing programs are being run.This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are grouped into three parts, namely: Observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects in this study consisted of 6 research subjects, consisting of 3 people representing the Golkar DPD secretariat in Kuantan Singingi Regency as informants through purposive sampling techniques, and 3 people from the community representing voter segmentation. The data analysis techniques in this study use the Miles and Huberman interactive data models. Checking the validity of the data using the technique of extending participation and triangulation.From the results of this study it was found that the political communication strategy undertaken by the Golkar Party DPD in Kuantan Singingi Regency to win the 2019 legislative election was to determine Planning (planning), starting from determining the communicator, the message to be conveyed, the use of the media, determining the audience, and the effect is expected. Implementation (action), and Assessment (evaluation). Political marketing of Golkar includes (1) Party products, namely a platform as a party that continues to support the ideology of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia, (2) Promotion through various mass media and direct selling, (3) Places that follow the KPU's direction (4) Price consisting of economic and psychological prices. Then the targets of political marketing are housewives, students, and farmers.  Keyword: Strategy, Communication Strategy of  Political, legislative 2019

Abstract

The propartive approach is a conflict management innovation in handling complaints in the Indonesian Ombudsman and has been applied to all of its representative offices, one of which is the Indonesian Ombudsman Representative of Riau Province. The use of a propartive approach in handling complaints has an impact on the decrease in the number of reports of public complaints and the convenience of the Assistant Ombudsman in completing community reports. The purpose of this study is to find out and understand how attitudes, processes and skills as a basis for a propartive approach are used in the Representative Ombudsman of Riau Province.This study uses a qualitative method. The research informants were selected through a purposive sampling technique and there were additional informants from the community selected through a random side technique whose reports were being handled or had been handled by the ombudsman. Data collection techniques carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman include three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques with source triangulation.From the results of the study obtained the following results; (1) Attitude. In terms of the attitude to handle complaints, the Ombudsman is acting towards both the reporter and the reported party. The attitude towards the reporter includes openness, honesty, and curiosity, while the attitude towards the reporter is neutral with the aim of not influencing the results of the Ombudsman's suggestion for the reported party. Process. The process of handling complaints through 2 (two) ways, namely with a formal approach and informal approach. Formal approach means through standard procedural, while through informal approach using propartive in it. This propartive approach can be used directly with face-to-face meetings by understanding the propartive process circle, and can be used bye phone through whatss app communication media or direct telephone. (3) Skills. Skills in handling complaints with propartif include LSD, Reframing, Peeling the Onion whose aim is to direct the Assistant Ombudsman how to explore the hopes and interests of the public report, in addition there are also skills to persuade and educate the reported party. However, if in this case both the complainant and the reported are against, the Ombudsman uses repressive skills.

Abstract

Tourist facilities are the main component that determines the proper running of tourism activities. This research was conducted at Tanjung Motong Beach, Rangsang Barat District, Meranti Island Regency. Tanjung Motong Beach is the only marine tourism in West Rangsang District which is set in a priority tourist attraction by the Meranti Island Regency Tourism Office. Existing tourist facilities at Tanjung Motong Beach consist of main facilities, supporting facilities and complement facilities that must complement one another in order to create a good and comfortable tourist attraction. This study aims to determine how the management of tourist facilities at Tanjung Motong Beach, Rangsang Barat District, Meranti Islands Regency and the obstacles experienced by tourist attraction managers in managing tourist facilities. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques with data collection techniques through key informant purposive sampling. This study describes the general description of Tanjung Motong Beach, Rangsang Barat District, Meranti Island Regency as well as how to manage tourist facilities and the obstacles experienced by beach managers in managing tourist facilities starting from the main facilities, supporting facilities and complement facilities. Keywords : Management, Tourism Facilities, Marine Tourism, Beaches

Abstract

Tourism is a travel activity carried out by a person or group of people to a place to meet their needs and desires. This study aims to produce a model of religious tourism communication in the Rokan Hulu Regency. This research begins describing the development of religious tourism attraction objects in Rokan Hulu, analyzing the communication strategies adopted to attract tourists to the Rokan Hulu Regency. The method applied in this study was qualitative by interviewing several informants from the MAMIC, the Rokan Hulu District Culture and Tourism Office and the Suluk community. Results of this study indicate that religious tourism in area has begun to develop quite well, integrated don’t tourism management and communication between the local government, MAMIC and the Suluk mosque which are relied upon as religious tourism objects seem to run on their own terms. Likewise, tourism communication applied is also not integrated, each of these attractions is known because of the word of mouth communication The existence of social media, radio and tv is a communication channel for these attractions so that it is widely known, magnificent buildings and rituals of worship are the main attraction of this religious tourism object.

Abstract

Electronic Media Television is one medium that can display information in perfectly , which is a combination of audio and visual technology , so it can easily be accepted by the audience as a communicant . With the perfection of which is owned by the television media , interest communicant to choose this medium is greater than the other mass media such as radio , newspapers , and movies . The messages conveyed through the medium of television pictures and sound simultaneously , live , fast , real-time , and can reach a very spacious room . Understanding filmmakers about cinemas, that are adequate but did not get support to develop their work with a wide audience . It makes filmmakers in Indonesia trying to attend the festival which is held metro tv. Besides become famous, sineas are also filmmakers received support facilities in making a documentary flim and get in-depth education cinema.The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews . The location of this research will be carried out at the office of Digital Single Lens Reflect Cinematography Indonesia ( DCI Pekanbaru ) Jalan Cendrawasih No. 23 , Tangkerang , Pekanbaru . Subjects in this study are community members Cinematography Digital Single Lens Reflect Indonesia ( DCI pekanbaru ) , while objects in the study in this research is the interest of filmmakers follow the film festival . For data analysis , researchers used a method of interactive analysis and Hubberman Miles . As for checking the validity of the data , researchers used data triangulation technique.The results showed that the activity is the community DSLR Cinematography Indonesia (DCI Pekanbaru) in attracting filmmakers follow the film festival include the extension and various activities throughout high school in the city of Pekanbaru, Obstacles facing the community DSLR Cinematography Indonesia (DCI Pekanbaru) in attracting filmmakers follow the film festival among others, issues of time constraints, where filmmakers and the member of the community has its own activities beyond their duties as members. Besides the lack of adequate equipment help to produce good work also affect the interest of Sines in making a film work. Limited information about the film for filmmakers who want produce work by following the film festival, an important area in the filmmaker's interest, it is because information is the main weapon in the levy of a media, especially cinema.Keywords : Media, Television, Sineas

Abstract

Indonesia is not an Islamic State is a documentary about the work of Jason Iskandar, where the documentary film making occurred inadvertently caused by the Director's own bad experience. The documentary, Indonesia is not an Islamic State tells the story of two muslim student who attended private catholic school in jakarta, where they see based on their respective points of view that Indonesia is getting increasingly mixed into an Islamic State, and is assosiated with events that occurred on June 1, 2008 about the storming of FPI (Islamic Defenders Front) against AKKBB (National Alliance for freedom of religion and Believe). This research is a descriptive study of qualitative approach to the analysis of the semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce. The objec of his research is the impressions documentary film Indonesia is not an Islamic State which lasted 9 minutes 32 second which have been published in 2009. The results obatained from the analysis of the top film Indonesia is not an Islamic State is the meaning of the signs contained in the selected 7 frame are talkinh about religious values. From the data obtained by use of the analysis the author signs contained in the movie by semiotics theory Charles Sanders Peirce. The analysis is done through two stages, namely the significance of picture/ frame then the results will be used as the material for the next stage of analysis i.e intrepretation contextually. Construction of taht menaing-laden will appear in the form of pictures an footage of the scene is also a narrative speaker which is considered to represent the intent of film’s director, Jason Iskandar. Religious values taht appear in the film include recognition of the personal rightts of each human being as the basis for understanding cross-cultural diffrerences, religious beliefs and social development, the concept of community-based “Agree in Disagreement”. The existence of the guarantee of a secure, peaceful, get along well, and serene as the foundation running philosophical values of Pancasila.
