Abstract

This research is entitled "Application of Career Guidance in Review of Trait and Factor Theory to Improve Skills in Persons with Disabilities". This study aims first to find out how the skills of beneficiaries (PM) before being given career guidance in terms of trait and factor theory, secondly to find out how the application of career guidance is reviewed from trait and factor theory to improve skills in people with disabilities. This research uses qualitative research methods. with the Trait and Factor theory approach, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, conclusions / verification. as for the results of this study indicate that before implementing the application of career guidance in terms of trait and factot theory to improve skills in persons with disabilities at the budi perkasa Palembang center. It can be seen that the three research subjects have low self-understanding, which is indicated by their doubts about their abilities, interests, talents, and skills. They have not been able to optimize their potential skills due to uncertainty in understanding themselves.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Role of Family in Providing Social Support for Elderly Stroke Patients, Client 'E'." The research focuses on the family's role in providing social support for elderly stroke patients, encompassing the actions of family members in offering assistance, the types of support provided, and the challenges faced. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the family's role in providing social support to the elderly, the types of support given, and the arising obstacles. This research employs a qualitative approach with field research methodology. The research subjects consist of five family members who care for elderly stroke patients. Data is collected through interviews and documentation.The research findings demonstrate that the family's role in providing social support for elderly stroke patients is highly significant. Social support has a positive impact on these elderly individuals, boosting their spirits, reducing despair, and managing the clients' emotions. The social support rendered includes emotional support, tangible support, and instrumental support. However, several obstacles are also identified, including the elderly's difficulties in controlling their emotions and unfulfilled promises from busy family members. In conclusion, families play a vital role in providing social support for elderly stroke patients. This support has a positive impact on the psychological and emotional aspects of the elderly. Nonetheless, specific challenges need to be considered in the effort to provide effective social support.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is entitled "Application of Cognitive Restructuring Techniques in Increasing Self Regulation (Case Study of Client "A" Palembang Police Intersection). This research is very useful for client "A" who is a prostitute who has low self-regulation. Because of that, counseling is needed with the application of cognitive restructuring techniques in increasing self-regulation, so that clients can lead a good life, able to manage their emotions, behavior and thoughts. This type of research is field research (flied research) with descriptive qualitative research. The subject of the study was a prostitute who was located at the Palembang Police intersection. In this study data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation. And using the data analysis model of Robert K.Yin, namely Pattern Matching, Explanation, and Time Series Analysis. This study applies the Cognitive Restructuring technique in increasing Self Regulation, by going through seven stages namely, Rationale, Identifying negative thoughts of clients, recognition and practice of positive thoughts, shifting thoughts, introduction and practice of self-declaration, homework, and evaluation. From providing counseling by applying cognitive restructuring techniques, clients are able to increase their self-regulation.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotic Analysis of The Series Betting Film". The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myths in the film "Betting The Series", and to find out the message contained in the film " Betting The Series". The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are primary data and secondary data. The object of this research is the film " Betting The Series" which has eight episodes. The data analysis technique used is Rolnd Barthes semiotic analysis. The results of this study are the meanings of denotation, connotation, and myth in the film "Betting The Series". Denotation is the first stage that uses the Rold Barthes semiotic analysis method, connotation is the original nature of signs, and myth is a second level system of meaning. The messages contained in the film "Betting The Series" are hard work, passion, sacrifice, never give up, and be responsible for solving problems.    KEYWORDS:

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Deviant sexual behavior has been known since ancient times. The Koran mentions sexual deviations committed by his people, one of Prophet Luth was transvestites. The term transvestites is given to people who were born male, but have sexual and psychological tendencies as women. Transvestites are men who have characteristics, attitudes like women, look like women so that their daily lives are like women, but sometimes their male characteristics come out when things are tight. The purpose of this research is to determine the description of the self-concept and daily behavior of client "I" and to find out how to apply Cognitive Restructuring techniques in overcoming negative self-concept in client "I". This research uses a qualitative approach method with the type of case study research and data analysis from Robert K Yin who divides three case study analysis techniques, namely: pattern matching, making explanations, and time series analysis. The data used can be obtained using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The subject in this research is client "I". The informants in this research consisted of the aunt and close friends of client "I". The results of the research obtained an overview of the self-concept and daily behavior of client "I", he felt comfortable and happy when he expressed his satisfaction with being a woman, his daily behavior was to look like a woman by wearing make-up, wearing women's clothes, dressing up like a woman, and waddled like a woman. The application of cognitive restructuring techniques in overcoming the negative self-concept of transvestites, the client "I" has experienced changes, namely that he is willing to know, understand and assess who he really is, he has slowly changed and abandoned his transvestites attributes.

Abstract

The role of the Social Service in dealing with child victims of sexual violence in South Oku Regency. The problem discussed in this research is what methods are used by the Social Service to rehabilitate child victims of sexual violence in the city of Muaradua, South Oku Regency? And what is the role of the Social Service in rehabilitating child victims of sexual violence in Muaradua City, South Oku Regency? The main aim of this research is to determine and analyze the role of the Social Service in rehabilitating child sexual victims in Muaradua City, South Oku Regency. The research findings are: First, the method used by the Social Service to rehabilitate child victims of sexual violence who are under its protection is by taking two approaches, namely (a). Religious spiritual approach, in a religious spiritual approach it will give birth to peace of mind, and (2). Motivational approach, this is done to give birth to a spirit of life in humans. Second, the role of the Social Service in rehabilitating child victims of sexual violence includes providing anti-sexual violence outreach to children from the family level to the community, providing assistance to victims of sexual violence both legally and providing assistance in recovering from the trauma that occurred to the victim.

Abstract

This study entitled "Application of Group Guidance with ningkuk'an method in improving social interaction in Pulokerto sub-district" this research is very useful in adolescents who have not increased their social interaction. Therefore, adolescents really need group guidance with the ningkuk'an method to help them improve interaction and communicate well. This research is a field research using qualitative research methods The results of this study show (1) before group guidance was carried out with the ningkuk'an method, adolescents had not created interaction and were still reduced then there was no good communication, the interaction had not increased (2) the application of group guidance in increasing social interaction using the ningkuk'an method, which consisted of 4 stages, namely beginning, transition, end. Abstract

ABSTRACT: Acts of sexual harassment increase every year. Not only in big cities but in rural areas far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Various methods are used to overcome sexual harassment, including for victims who experience sexual harassment so that they can recover. Sexual harassment has a tremendous impact on victims who experience mental shocks. It cannot be denied that sexual harassment will have an anxious impact on victims. This shows that there are very serious consequences resulting from both physical and verbal sexual harassment. It requires special treatment that can recover, which is not only done medically, especially treatment that is carried out communicatively (therapeutic communication). The research aims to determine the extent to which therapeutic communication can overcome victims' anxiety due to sexual harassment. By using qualitative research methods, this research produced several important notes on therapeutic communication carried out by researchers. Researchers carry out therapeutic communication with clients in stages, and each stage has different but continuous actions. The results of this study reveal that therapeutic communication as an effort to cure victims' anxiety due to sexual harassment is a psychological approach carried out in four stages, namely the pre-interaction stage, orientation stage, work stage and termination stage. As a form of concrete and in-depth effort and providing the latest views on victims of sexual harassment.

Abstract

Memorization lessons are not extracurricular lessons like those in public schools, but are one of the main lessons in Islamic boarding schools. The Qur'an is the book and the main reference for Muslims and Muslims are obliged to believe in it as one of the pillars of faith. One way to believe in the books of Allah SWT, namely the Al-Qur'an is to read and understand its contents as a guide for Muslims in order to achieve safety and happiness in this world and the hereafter. Al-Furqon Modern Islamic Boarding School where memorizing the Qur'an is a form of class promotion and graduation requirement. Memorizing the Qur'an the students are also still required to attend formal school, organizational activities, and activities held by the boarding school. Santri who study in pesantren are on average in the adolescent age range with various characteristics. Like teenagers in general, santri also have common problems that are often faced, one of which is learning problems. Learning is a task that must be done by every individual, but not all individuals have good or effective learning management, especially in the problem of time management, this is also often experienced by many students. Self Control is the ability of individuals to read the situation of themselves and their environment. It is also the ability to control and manage behavioral factors in accordance with the situation and conditions in order to be able to display a good personality with positive behavior in memorizing the Qur'an. Self Control can also help individuals to control emotions or regulate behavior in order to adapt to the environment in a positive direction in overcoming these problems. One of them occurs frustration when procrastinating in memorizing the Qur'an. Therefore, through this research the author will examine how to apply group counseling Self Control Techniques in Overcoming Procrastination Behavior in Memorizing Al-Qur'an in Santriwati at Al-Furqon Islamic Boarding School with a qualitative research method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words from people or observable behavior and circumstances that are happening.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study examines the editorial team's strategy to improve the production quality of the "Handcuffs" broadcast on iNews TV, a local television broadcasting institution in Palembang. According to a Nielsen survey, the Detak Palembang program has an audience of more than 90% of Palembang people, and images are very important for television broadcasts. Images must be attractive and high quality. The producer is responsible for leading the entire production team to achieve the goals that have been set together in terms of creative and production management in accordance with the agreed themes and topics. Therefore, producers must be creative and have their own strategies so that the resulting images are good and quality broadcasts. Next, the researcher gave the title of the problem: "What is the editorial team's strategy for improving the production quality of handcuff broadcasts at the local television broadcaster iNews TV." In addition, the aim of this research is to determine innovative methods that producers can use to improve image quality in Palembang iNews events. There were two informants for this research, namely the Producer and Chief Editor of the iNews TV handcuff program. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers found that iNews TV producers used strategies to get a good angle when reporting, so they could describe the atmosphere at the scene correctly. Producers also ensure that their images are not shaky. KEYWORDS: Creative Strategy, iNews Handcuffs, Palembang, Image Quality.
