Abstract

Cyberbullying adalah perilaku agresif menggunakan teknologi dan media sosial untuk menyakiti, melecehkan, dan mengintimidasi orang lain di dunia maya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi profil perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja dan menentukan implikasinya pada bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder dari buku, jurnal, artikel, dan wawancara terkait perilaku cyberbullying di kalangan remaja SMA. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan sumber sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja sering muncul dalam bentuk flaming dan outing & trickery. Motivasi yang mendukung perilaku ini meliputi keinginan balas dendam, kurangnya pemahaman tentang cyberbullying, dan penyalahgunaan fitur anonimitas media sosial. Implikasi bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling mencakup pelaksanaan layanan dasar, seperti informasi mengenai cyberbullying, dan layanan responsif untuk korban dan pelaku sebagai fungsi kuratif. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan meliputi layanan informasi, bimbingan kelas dan kelompok, konseling individual, konseling kelompok, serta kolaborasi dengan ahli di bidang bimbingan pribadi dan sosial. Kata kunci: cyberbullying; cyberbullying remaja; bimbingan dan konseling Profile of Cyberbullying Behavior in Adolescents and Its Implications for Guidance and Counseling Services Cyberbullying is aggressive behavior using technology and social media to hurt, harass, and intimidate others online. This research aims to identify the profile of cyberbullying behavior in adolescents and determine its implications for guidance and counseling in schools. The research method uses a literature study by collecting secondary data from books, journals, articles, and interviews related to cyberbullying behavior among high school students. Data were collected through observations and secondary sources. The results show that cyberbullying behavior in adolescents often appears in the forms of flaming and outing & trickery. Motivations supporting this behavior include revenge, lack of understanding about cyberbullying, and misuse of social media anonymity features. Implications for guidance and counseling services include the implementation of basic services, such as information about cyberbullying, and responsive services for victims and perpetrators as a curative function. Strategies that can be applied include information services, classroom and group guidance, individual counseling, group counseling, and collaboration with experts in personal and social guidance. Abstract

This study focuses on the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among adolescents, particularly in vocational high schools (SMK), which refers to the anxiety caused by the fear of missing out on information or trending events. The problem addressed in this research is how the phenomenon of FoMO affects the psychological well-being of adolescents in SMK. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of FoMO among SMK students and provide recommendations for interventions that can reduce its negative impact. The research method used is a survey design involving 203 students as the sample. Data were collected through the distribution of a questionnaire containing 10 questions designed to measure the level of FoMO. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to determine the distribution of FoMO levels among respondents. The main findings of the study show that the majority of students (63%) fall into the moderate category of FoMO, while 25% of students are in the low category and 12% fall into the high category. These findings indicate that although most students show a moderate level of FoMO, special attention needs to be given to students with high FoMO levels to prevent negative psychological impacts. The conclusion of this study is that it is crucial for educators and school counselors to design interventions that can reduce the anxiety caused by FoMO.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji seberapa efektif layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan bantuan media Powtoon dalam meningkatkan pemahaman diri peserta didik jenjang SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain true eksperimental yang mengadopsi skema pretest-posttest dengan kelompok kontrol. Sebanyak 63 orang siswa kelas VII dari SMP PGRI 1 di salah satu kota Jawa Timur menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Melalui teknik cluster random sampling, mereka dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok: 31 orang siswa dalam kelompok yang menerima intervensi dan 32 orang siswa dalam kelompok pembanding. Intervensi dilakukan melalui empat sesi layanan bimbingan klasikal berbasis media Powtoon yang diberikan hanya kepada kelompok eksperimen. Sebaliknya, kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan selama periode penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner pemahaman diri dengan 29 butir pernyataan yang telah tervalidasi dan memiliki reliabilitas tinggi (α = 0,945). Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara skor awal dan akhir pada kelompok eksperimen (p = 0,000), sedangkan tidak terdapat perbedaan berarti pada kelompok kontrol (p = 0,085). Sementara itu, analisis dengan independent sample t-test memperlihatkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok pada pengukuran posttest (p = 0,001). Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media Powtoon dalam layanan bimbingan klasikal efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman diri siswa pada jenjang SMP.

Abstract

The Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) phenomenon is increasingly troubling, especially for teenagers who actively use social media, such as Vocational High School (SMK) students. They are in an identity-seeking phase and tend to feel the need to be constantly connected to their social environment, especially on online platforms. While social media facilitates interaction with peers, overexposure can trigger anxiety and feelings of insecurity, which in turn impacts their mental and emotional health. The effects of FoMO are also seen in declining academic performance and social skills, as students spend more time paying attention to the lives of others rather than focusing on their personal tasks and achievements. To help students overcome FoMO, the service program at SMK Nasional Malang applies the experiential learning approach as a learning method that emphasizes the development of self-management. Through this training, students are trained to manage emotions, utilize personal experience as a learning medium, and cultivate the ability to control themselves from the temptation of constantly checking social media. Experiential learning strategy has been proven to improve students' abilities in cognitive and affective aspects, such as emotion management and teamwork. This approach is expected to reduce the negative impact of FoMO and strengthen students' awareness of the importance of balance between the online world and real life. This service includes socialization, case analysis, and training modules as practical steps to guide students in practicing self-management in the school environment. From the implementation of this service activity until completion, students are expected to not only be able to control their own behavior but also be able to share this positive influence with their peers. Hopefully, through school support and ongoing training, students can develop adequate digital literacy and self-management skills to cope with social media pressure and improve overall quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of film to improving emphaty sevents grade students junior high school. The study design used a quasi-experimental design using the design of one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects in this study were six students who have the lowest levels of emphaty in the classroom. The research instrument used is the scale of emphaty and guidance experiment. The hypothesis testing is using the Wilcoxon test. Wilcoxon test results showed that the difference value (z) is-2.201 with a significance value of 0.028. Significance value less than 0.05, which means that Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the use of film is effective to improving emphaty among sevents grade student of junior high school.

Abstract

This development reaserch aims to produce sociodramas manual to increase the value of social care junior high school students theoretically and practically acceptable. This research method adapted the Borg and Gall procedural model covering the planning stage, the stage of product development and test phase of the product. Design test is test material experts and drama experts, potential users test products and test a small group. These products meet very precise criteria, very useful, very easy and very attractive to mean very feasible to use. It can be concluded that the guidelines have been grateful sociodramas theoretically and practically.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of information service media "dealing with changes in puberty" for elementary school students. The research method used is research and development adapted from the Borg and Gall development model with the following procedures: (1) planning; (2) product development; (3) product testing; (4) final product revision. Product trial data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of the product trial assessment, it can be concluded that the product is very appropriate, very useful, very easy and very interesting theoretically and practically, so it can be used as a medium for guidance in dealing with changes during puberty.

Abstract

This research and development aims to develop a product called Siap Antisipasi (SIANTI) to improve assertive behavior in preventing physical sexual harassment in junior high school students by meeting product acceptance. SIANTI’s products include three educational videos with a video duration of three minutes each and a guidebook for school counselors in providing classical guidance services. The research method by adapting Borg and Gall model. This research and development procedure includes preliminary studies, product design and development as well as product testing of material experts, media experts and users. The research and development subjects consisted of one material expert, one media expert and two users. Assessment of expert and users to determine product acceptance uses a rating scale based on aspects of accuracy, usability, convenience and product attractiveness. The research instrument uses an expert and prospective user assessment format. The results of the expert test were analyzed using the numerical average, the results of the users were tested using the inter-rater agreement. The overall test results show that the SIANTI product gets a very high rating category and meets product acceptance so that it can be implemented as a medium for school counselors in providing classical guidance services to improve students’ assertive behavior to prevent physical sexual harassment.

Abstract

One of the factors that cause cases of aggression that occur among adolescents is the low level of individual empathy. This research and development aim to develop the "Perasaan Kita" media as a student tool in the internalization of empathy. "Perasaan Kita" is a media in interactive books by utilizing the QR code feature in its use. A guidebook for school counselors also accompanies this media to provide essential services in schools. The research method used is research and development using the Borg and Gall model, adapted according to the situation and field conditions. Test material experts, media experts, and potential users evaluate the acceptance of the developed media by looking at accuracy, usability, and convenience. The research instrument uses an expert and prospective user assessment format. The material and media expert test results were then analyzed using the analysis of the inter-rater agreement model, while the results of the prospective user test were analyzed using the numerical average. The test results show that the "Perasaan Kita" media gets a high score, so it can be interpreted that the "Perasaan Kita" media is an appropriate medium used by junior high school students to internalize empathy.

Abstract

The research aims to develop an adventure-based group counseling service guide to improve student resilience. Adventure-based group counseling services are packaged in a guide that contains daily activities by reflecting on the actual situation and includes treatments to increase resilience. The researcher uses the Research and Development design developed by Borg and Gall with research steps: (1) data collection, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) expert testing, (5) product design revision, (6) stage test potential users, (7) revise the product into a prototype. Researchers did not conduct field tests due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the expert test, the product is tested by two experts in terms of material and media and then tested by potential users. The results of the expert and prospective user test assessments show that the guide in the form of a prototype has met the acceptance criteria, so it is feasible to use.
