Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction is one of the factors that must be considered. If teachers feel satisfied with their work, an atmosphere of togetherness will be created; they will have the same responsibility, a good communication climate, and high work enthusiasm to achieve school goals optimally. Likewise, school staff have an essential role in supporting school teaching and learning activities. This study aimed to determine practical strategies for improving teacher and staff job satisfaction at the Yayasan Anak Global Indonesia, Jakarta. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to 32 teachers and staff through a saturated sample sampling technique. Using multiple linear regression analysis, all hypotheses were finally tested and proven. It was found that practical strategies to improve job satisfaction are to optimize the work environment, make the organizational culture positive, and improve interpersonal communication between teachers and staff. This study is limited to one school only, so it cannot be generalized to all schools. Further research is expected to expand the research area, not only in 1 school, and differentiate between teachers and staff because they have different roles

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of technology, student engagement, and learning environment, on the effectivenesss of English learning at Sekolah Bukit Sion, Jakarta. The research employs a quantitative approach with simplified sampling of 67 employees as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing, specifically the coefficient of determination, the t test, and the f test. The results of the research concluded that partially 1) The use of technology has a significant effect on the effectiveness of English learning, 2) Student engagement has a significant effect on the effectiveness of English learning, and 3) Learning environment has a significant effect on English learnin Keyword: The useof technology, student engagement, learning environment, effectiveness of english learning, Bukit Sion School. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan teknologi, keterlibatan siswa, dan lingkungan belajar terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Bukit Sion. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling yang disederhanakan terhadap 67 siswa sebagai responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesis yaitu koefisien determinasi, uji t dan uji f. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of school image (brand image) and service quality on parents’ decision to choose a school, with word of mouth (WOM) as an intervening variable, in the context of SMP Bruder Pontianak as an educational institution for their children. The background of this research is a positive phenomenon: despite the growing number of private schools in Pontianak City, each offering various strengths, SMP Bruder Pontianak continues to gain the trust of parents in enrolling their children at the institution. The school consistently meets its target of admitting seven classes annually. Based on preliminary interviews during the student admission process (PPDB) and field observations prior to the study, three main factors emerged as key considerations for parents: school image (brand image), service quality, and word of mouth as an intervening factor.This research adopts a quantitative method with a survey approach, involving 157 randomly selected parents of seventh-grade students. The data were analyzed using regression techniques to test the relationships between independent variables (school image and service quality), the dependent variable (parents’ decision to choose the school), and the intervening variable (word of mouth), with data processing conducted through SPSS 27.The results reveal that school image (brand image) significantly influences word of mouth, but does not directly affect the decision-making process. Service quality, on the other hand, has a positive and significant effect both on word of mouth and on the decision to choose the school. These findings suggest important implications for SMP Bruder Pontianak: to enhance its school image so it becomes a more decisive factor in parents’ school selection, and to optimize service quality to ensure that all stakeholders—especially parents—receive standardized, high-quality services. Target penerimaan sebanyak tujuh kelas selalu terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara sederhana pada saat Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) dan hasil pengamatan dilapangan dan pra penelitian dilakukan, didapatkan ada tiga faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan bagi orang tua yaitu citra sekolah (brand image), kualitas pelayanan, dan word of mouth sebagai intervening. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei yang melibatkan 157 orang tua kelas tujuh dengan teknik acak (random). Data analisis menggunakan regresi untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel bebas (citra sekolah dan kualitas pelayanan) dengan variabel terikat (keputusan orang tua memilih sekolah) dan word of mouth (intervening) dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 27. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Citra Sekolah (brand image) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap word of mouth. Kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap word of mouth dan terhadap keputusan memilih sekolah. Citra sekolah memiliki pengaruh namun tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih sekolah. Temuan ini memunculkan implikasi bagi SMP Bruder Pontianak untuk meningkatkan citra sekolah agar citra sekolah mampu menjadi salah satu faktor keputusan bagi orang tua memilih sekolah, selain itu memaksimalkan kualitas pelayanan agar semua warga sekolah atau orang tua mendapatkan pelayanan standar yang diberikan. Abstract

Tolerance awareness is one of important aspect to realizing peace education that train students to avoid of using violence. This study aims to represent the results of the tolerance awareness training guide using "wayang golek" as a media to realize peace education by using indigenous heritage that has been tested for acceptability standards.  Research and development model used in this study which has been modified according to the needs and deficiency of researchers in the field, so that it consists of six stages: preliminary study, planning, product making, product testing, product revision, and final product. The assessment that used in this study was adjusted to "Standards for Evaluation of Educational Programs, Projects, and Materials by the joint committee" which involves two experts in the field of guidance and counseling as well as practitioners in the field. The result shows that the guide of tolerance awareness training using "wayang golek" as a media fulfilling the acceptability standards. Recommendation for further researchers to test the effectiveness of the product using experimental method.

Abstract

Persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia semakin ketat, khususnya di Jakarta. Orang tua kini semakin kritis dalam memilih pendidikan yang terbaik bagi anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas layanan, citra merek, dan social media marketing terhadap keputusan orang tua dalam memilih SD Kids Republic di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Teknik non-probability sampling, sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 56 orang tua siswa baru di SD Kids Republic. Data penelitian diolaj secara kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian ini didukung oleh data primer dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunhukkan bahwa: (1) Kualitas pelayanan mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih; (2) Citra merek mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih; (3) Social media marketing mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih; (4) kualitas pelayanan, citra merek, dan social media marketing mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan secara simultan terhadap keputusan memilih.

Abstract

Several problems arise in PAUD institutions along with their development, one of which is related to the lack of quality of PAUD services, which of course can cause dissatisfaction of parents and will have a negative impact on parents' perceptions and ultimately can affect the resulting WOM. This study used Proportional Stratified Sampling technique. The instrument took questionnaires on 58 respondents of parents of students who were registered as active students until the May 2024 period, including 19 parents of Play Group class level, 17 parents of Kindergarten A class level and 22 parents of Kindergarten B class level. Quantitatively processed research data with path analysis techniques using Smart PLS 4.1.0.4 software. The results of this study are supported by primary data using a questionnaire. The analysis of this study shows that: (1) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on word of mouth, where the higher the Service Quality, the higher the Word of Mouth (2) Parental satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Word of Mouth, where the higher the Parental Satisfaction, the higher the Word of Mouth. (3) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on Parental Satisfaction where the higher the Service Quality, the higher the Parental Satisfaction. (4) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on word of mouth through Parent Satisfaction.

Abstract

Respect contributes to restraining the frequently occur acts of violence. Biblio education belongs to one of the means to establish respect. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of Biblio Education in improving elementary students' awareness of respect. This quantitative study employs an equivalent time-series design with ten subjects from State Elementary School of Gadingkasri, selected through purposive sampling. It used Biblio Education treatment in eight meetings. A validated and reliable respect awareness scale was used as the measuring instrument. The data were analyzed using non-parametric data analysis of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results reveal that the 1-4 treatments carry no effect on students' awareness of respect. Its impact on students' awareness of respect is observed in treatments 5-8. Comprehensively, Biblio Education is sufficient to enhance elementary school students' awareness of respect.

Abstract

This research aims to developing the creative problem solving manual for preventing bullying among junior high school students which acceptable on accuracy, utility, and implementatively. This research method is adapted from procedural research and development Borg & Gall model (1983). Expert and prospective user analyzed by inter-rater agreement (Grinnell, 1988). Agreement result of 3 guidance and counseling experts from accuracy aspect is high, utility is high, and implementatiely is very high. Agreement of 3 prospective users from accuracy is high, utility is high, and implementatively is very high. The conclusion of the test is, this training guide product acceptable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between academic self-concept, academic self-efficacy, self-esteem and academic procrastination. To achieve these goals, used a correlational study design. The population used in the study are students of Junior High School in Malang, the sample totaled 393 students obtained through a multistage random sampling method of sampling. To measure academic self-concept, academic self-efficacy, self-esteem and academic procrastination, use a scale of academic self-concept, academic self-efficacy scale, the scale of self-esteem and academic procrastination scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that each variable that academic self-concept, academic self-efficacy and self-esteem negatively related to academic procrastination and together these three variables affect the academic procrastination.
