Abstract

The purpose of community empowerment in this training is the researcher invites students or partners to make motifs on tote bags (tote bags) using the Eco print technique. The Service Learning approach is a method in this training process. The Service Learning approach aims to shape the personality of the younger generation who are able to solve problems, manage emotions, be able to work in a work team, and have a respectable identity. Through the Service Learning project, students are very enthusiastic about working and feel proud because they can make their own work and innovate with their own mindset. Service Learning activities are actualized in the form of training on making Eco print tote bags. Through this training, students can express joy and pride about what they do. From the results of the questionnaire regarding students' initial understanding regarding the Eco print technique, it was found that only 1 student had made batik crafts, but none of the students had heard of or made the Eco print technique. This caused all students who participated in this activity to feel interested and want to be creative by using leaves as a medium for giving colors and motifs to the Eco print technique. Of all the aspects evaluated, the average score is "yes", which shows that the workshop and training activities for making Eco print tote bags are running and well received. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out at this time, there is great hope for researchers that schools can carry out the continuation of this program because this activity is very useful for developing students' talents and creativity in the field of works of art.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan desain melalui pelatiahan desain grafis pada remaja desa Gongseng.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah PLA (Participatory Learning and Action), metode  pemberdayaan  masyarakat  yang  terdiri  dari proses belajar tentang suatu topik dan selanjutnya diikuti dengan aksi riil yang relevan dengan materi pemberdayaan. Pendekatan yang dijalankan dalam program ini adalah sosialisasi, praktik, dan pendampingan sampai peserta pelatihan dapat mengenal tentang aplikasi Canva, bagaimana cara memanfaatkan atau menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pelatihan desain grafis ini adalah remaja desa Gongseng Kecamatan Megaluh Kabupaten Jombang. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Musollah Baitul Jami’ yang ada di desa Gongseng dengan jumlah peserta 18 remaja desa Gongseng. Secara umum kegiatan ini dapat berlangsung dengan baik dengan hasil yang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Peserta antusias dalam mengikuti jalannya pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi pasca pelatihan melalui data pengisian angket untuk mengukur seberapa dalam pemahaman peserta dan seberapa mampu meraka mempraktikan apa yang telah didapatkan dalam pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman materi mulai dari pengetahuannya. Berdasar pada hasil angket yang telah disebarkan kepada 18 peserta menunjukkan hasil 93% dari 18 remaja setuju bahwa setelah melakukan praktik peserta sudah dapat membuatl desain grafis melalui aplikasi Canva

Abstract

Daterejo Village is a village in Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency, East Java Province. has hamlets namely, Kalibening, Mojoranu, Semen, Jonggrong, Sonokerep and Daterejo. The Daterejo State Elementary School Education Service is one of the educational institutions that was founded in 1963. In Kalibening Hamlet there is a BABUSSALAM Islamic Boarding School and MI, MTs, MA, STAI schools. The Diniyyah Miftahussalam Madrasah students in Daterejo Village have many religious fields but are still lacking in depth. His religious studies, especially in the field of Fiqh. Therefore, we had the idea to hold Fiqh Learning Training and Mentoring for Santri Madrasah Diniyyah Miftahussalam in Daterejo Village, Mojoagung District. By using the practical Fiqh book learning module chapter thaharah (purification) and prayer. Method The approach taken for community service in Daterejo village is by using the SL (Service Learning) method. One of them is by applying coercion methods, educational games, training and local community approaches so that indirectly, students in Daterejo village can grasp the material well. Based on the results of community service activities on the PPM theme, the following can be concluded: (a) Santri Madrasah Diniyah TPQ Miftahussalam have become more understanding and can also carry out Fiqh practice regarding the chapter on purification and prayer properly and correctly. (b) Fiqh learning at TPQ Madrasah Diniyah Miftahussalam now has a guidebook regarding how to practice Fiqh related to the chapter on purification and prayer. (c) Teachers and Students of Madrasah Diniyah TPQ Miftahussalam Become increasingly motivated in getting to know the chapter on purification and prayer.

Abstract

Technology in agriculture is something that cannot be separated from its application in the agricultural sector. The use of smartphones in soil pH measuring devices makes the measurement process faster, easier and more affordable. This research aims to develop a simple and affordable soil pH measuring tool for use by farmers in Tanggalrejo Village, Mojoagung, Jombang. The method approach taken for community service in Tanggalrejo Village is to use the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. One of them is by implementing training methods and approaches from local farmers so that indirectly farmers in Tanggalrejo Village can capture the material well. This tool is named "Soil pH Meter" and is designed to help farmers manage the quality of their soil. This research involves the steps of designing, prototyping, field testing, and evaluation. This tool has the potential to increase efficiency in farming and help farmers take appropriate actions to increase crop yields. Based on the results of this community service activity, it can provide an overview of the use of a pH meter for accurate and efficient soil pH monitoring by: (1) Providing understanding and practice in checking soil pH using a telegram monitoring pH meter to farmers in Tanggalrejo Village, so that the Farmers know the condition of bass or acid soil and can determine good and correct handling. (2) Provide understanding and explanation about the use of smartphones, that the soil pH monitoring tool via telegram can be checked via smartphones used by farmers in Tanggalrejo Village.
