Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence model the effect of problem based learning (PBL) the skills of essay writing texposition text class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) essay writing skills exposition text before using problem based learning (PBL) model of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi are in qualifying Nearly Enough (HC) with an average value of 54,34, (2) essay writing skills exposition text after using problem based learning (PBL) model of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi are in qualification More than Enough (HC) with an average value of 68,92, and (3) exposition text essay writing skills class VII SMP Negeri 5 Bukittinggi after using the model of problem based learning (PBL) high than before using the model of problem based learning (PBL). Kata kunci : pengaruh, model problem based learning (PBL), teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to determine the research aimed to analyze the students skill of writing description text in VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang before and after implementation of the CTM technique and to analyze the effect CTM technique toward the skill of writing description text in VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data of this research are the test score of writing description text skill before and using CTM technique of the students in class VII SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data was being analyzed with the percentage formula, the arithmetic mean formula and the t-test. The instrument of the research is performance test, that is test to write description text before and after using CTM technique. There are two findings of this research. First, the skill of students in the VII (seventh) grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang of writing description text before using the CTM technique with qualification C (Cukup) with average 58,5. Second, the  skill  of  students in  the  VII  (seventh) grade  SMP  Negeri  12  Padang  of  writing description text after using the CTM technique with qualification B (Baik) with average 82,19. Third, according to the t-test, alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted in the significance percentage 95% and the degrees of freedom (df) = n-1 because of the taritmatic> ttable, which is 10,71 > 1,70.Kata kunci: Pengaruh, copy the master, menulis teks deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe the interest in reading short story class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. Second, describe the skills to write a short story class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. Third, analyze the relationship between interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. The research data in the form of a score of interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills scores class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar.The results of this study are the following there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar at significant level of 95% and a degree of freedom (df) = n-1 because thitung> ttable ie 6,66> 1 70. Kata kunci: hubungan, minat baca cerita pendek, keterampilan menulis cerita                       pendek

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning by using audiovisual media the skills of news writing. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) news writing skills before using discovery learning model by using audiovisual media are in qualifying Enough (60,76), (2) news writing skills after using discovery learning model by using audiovisual media are in qualification good (80,03), and (3) news writing skills class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang after using the model of discovery learning by using audiovisual media better than before using the model of discovery learning by audiovisual media. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning, audiovisual, berita

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas without using a strategy of inquiry assisted audiovisual media, (2) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Trunk Cotton using a strategy of inquiry assisted media audiovisual, and (3) describe the effect of the use of inquiry strategies aided audiovisual media to news writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The results of this study there are three, namely (1) news writing skills without the use of audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Rod Cotton is the qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 68.37. (2) news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cotton Trunk is qualifiers Good (B) with an average value of 81.63. (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1 + n2) -2 because thitung¬> ttable (12.27> 1.67). From the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant influence on news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. Keywords: pengaruh, strategi inkuiri, media audiovisual, menulis berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe the following points. First, the text structure of fantasy story of class VII students of JHS 27 Padang. Second, the use of diction in the text of fantasy story of class VII students of JHS 27 Padang. Third, the use of sentences in the text of fantasy story of students of class VII JHS 27 Padang. This type of research was qualitative by using descriptive method. This research was conducted in Junior High School 27 Padang. This research data in the form of fantasy story texts obtained from the source of research data that is the document results of student tasks amount of 25 texts fantasy story. The instrument of this research ware the researcher herself. Data is analyzed by describing, analyzing, and discussing data based on theory. The results of this study are as follows. First, found three fantasy story text structure, that is orientation, complication, and resolution in writing of student of class VII of JHS 27 Padang. Secondly, there are two types of sentences that use direct sentences and indirect sentences in the text of fantasy tales written by the seventh graders of JHS 27 Padang. Based on the research results can be concluded two things. First, in writing texts fantasy story of the seventh grade students of JHS 27 Padang has used the three fantasy story text structure. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe article was written to describe the reading comprehension skills of exposition text with the skills of writing exposition students class X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh. The type of this stuudy is quantitative research by using descriptive method. The research design used is correlational. Population in this study is students of grade X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh registered in the academic year 2017/2018 amounted to 396 students. Sample were taken using proportional random sampling. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that correlation between reading skill with writing skill of exposition text student class X SMAN 1 Payakumbuh with convidence 95% with degree of freedom n-1; t-count> t-table (8,37)> (1.67 ). Abstract

There are four aims of the reseaech. First, to decribe how is the way to communicate toward the lecture. Second, to describe the principle of languange politeness in sending SMS to the lecturer. Third, to describe the scale of students languange politeness in sending SMS. Fourth, to describe the politeness of student’s languange SMS toward lecturer. This reseaech used qualitative research which   used   descriptive   methode.   It   was   done   at   Universitas   Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kekhususan gaya bahasa dalam cerpen Kabut Negeri si Dali karya A.A. Navis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan retoris dan  kiasan  dalam  kumpulan  cerpen  Kabut  Negeri  si  Dali  karya A.A.  Navis.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah kata, frasa, klausa, atau kalimat   yang dapat dirumuskan sebagai gaya bahasa retoris dan kiasan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen Kabut Negeri si Dali karya A.A Navis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara : (1) membaca dan memahami gaya bahasa retoris dan kiasan dalam kumpulan cerpen Kabut Negeri si Dali karya A.A. Navis, (2) mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi data yang berhubungan dengan gaya bahasa retoris dan kiasan. Hasil penelitian dalam kumpulan cerpen Kabut Negeri si Dali karya A.A. Navis adalah sebagai berikut ini: (1) Gaya bahasa  retoris  dalam  kumpulan  cerpen  Kabut  Negeri  si  Dali  yaitu,  pleonasme, eufimisme,  erotesis/pertanyaan  retoris,  hiperbola,  klimaks,  antitesis,  dan  paradoks. Gaya bahasa retoris yang dominan dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut adalah hiperbola. (2) Pendayagunaan gaya bahasa kiasan dalam kumpulan cerpen Kabut Negeri si Dali di antaranya alusio, simile, metafora, personifikasi, sinekdoke, metonimia, sarkasme, ironi, sinisme,  dan  alegori.  Gaya  bahasa  kiasan  yang  dominan  dalam  kumpulan  cerpen tersebut adalah metafora. Retoris dan kiasan dalam cerpen dapat diimplikasikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Dengan mempelajari retoris dan kiasan, pendidik dan peserta didik diharapkan mampu menghargai dan mengindahkan kehadiran bahasa dalam cerpen Indonesia. Semua hal tersebut dapat diterapkan dalam pendidikan formal, baik ditingkat sekolah menengah pertama atau menengah atas. Kata kunci: retoris, kiasan, cerpen, implementasi
