Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe two things. First describes the feature of text fable students of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Second, describe the spelling in the text fable the text of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research Data is the use of tasks in the text Fable class VII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The data source in this study is fable text written in grade VII students. D SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang numbering 30 texts. Data is collected through documentation study methods or document utilization. The data analysis technique is done by five procedures. First, identify common elements of data. Secondly, it identifies the data based on the theory of reference. The identification of the data is done by creating the fable text and spelling characteristics identification format. Third, analyzing the data. Fourth, interpret the data that has been analyzed. Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the uniqueness of the cultural style of Minangkabaunese as one of the Minangkabau language diversities. The peculiarities are described in terms of its lexicons and sentence structures. This study was a descriptive qualitative research type. Object of research was the cultural style of Minangkabaunese, while the research data were the customary speech variety. In terms of lexicon, there are a lot of the typical vocabulary items that are rarely or not used in the general variety of Minangkabaunese. The cultural style of Minangkabaunese uses metaphors that are rarely used in the general variety. In terms of sentence structures, this style uses many compound and complex sentences with many subordinate clauses in one sentence. Abstract

As means of communication, language is an important element in mass media such as radio. Radio also has important role in the language construction and development. However, broadcasters tend to use informal language to interact with the youngster. This research is aimed at identifying the language used by broadcasters in SIPP FM Padang related to the reading method at “Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC)”. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article generally aims to determine the ability to read with the ability to write, while specifically to get an idea of the relationship between reading and writing in writing an article. The ability to reading comprehension and write has a very close relationship when viewed from various aspect. This certainly happens because there is continuity between the two language skills. A writer will not be able to produce a good writing if unable and skilled in reading. Skillful in reading here means being able to understand the contents of the reading and know the meaning of the reading. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the following three things. First, describe the structure of the descriptive text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. Second, to describe the contents of the descriptive text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. Third, describe the diction of the descriptive text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are in the form of structure, content, and diction of student description texts. The data source of this research is the descriptive text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung for the academic year 2021/2022 with a total of 25 students.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded three things. First, in writing descriptive texts, seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung have used all three descriptive text structures. Second, in terms of content, the descriptive text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung has written the contents according to the structure of the descriptive text. Third, judging from the use of diction, the descriptive text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung is more dominant in the accuracy of diction in the descriptive text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung.Keywords: structure, content, diction of description text

Abstract

Worksheet refers to a document or a digital file that contains exercises, questions, or tasks for students to complete as part of their learning activities. This study aims to analyze the need for an appropriate interactive E-Worksheets in learning folklore texts. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. In this qualitative research, the research instrument is the researcher himself. The subjects in this study were students of senior high school in Padang. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. This data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire filled out by students. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that E-Worksheets   can increase students' interest in learning, especially in learning folklore texts. The implications of this research highlight the importance of incorporating interactive E-Worksheets in teaching folklore texts. Educators and curriculum developers can utilize these findings to design and implement digital learning materials that effectively engage students and promote a deeper understanding of cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penggunaan kalimat efektif dalam menulis masih menjadi kendala bagi siswa. Hal tersebut membuat kalimat menjadi tidak efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kalimat dalam teks eksplanasi siswa SMP Negeri 35 Kabupaten Tebo ditinjau dari lima hal. Pertama, keefektifan dari segi kesepadanan, terdapat 42 kesalahan. Kedua, keefektifan dari segi keparalelan, terdapat 17 kesalahan. Ketiga, keefektifan dari segi kehematan, terdapat 30 kesalahan. Keempat, keefektifan dari segi kecermatan, terdapat 42 kesalahan. Kelima, keefektifan dari segi kelogisan, terdapat 19 kesalahan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 35 Kabupaten Tebo. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 35 Kabupaten Tebo yang diperoleh melalui teknik pancing sesuai dengan teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi karena jumlah subjek kurang dari 100, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 20 teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 35 Kabupaten Tebo. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Lalu, teknik pengabsahan data yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the educational values ​​of the Siti Kalasun kaba using a sociological study of literature. The educational values ​​in question are the values ​​of faith and piety, aesthetic values, and the value of living together. The data source was obtained directly from Kaba Siti Kalasun herself. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. This research promotes understanding of the empirical interactions between the concepts being researched. This research reveals the educational values ​​in Kaba Siti Kalasun: as individuals, they demonstrate qualities such as love, patience, gentleness, and a life-oriented mindset; as members of society, they are characterized by their relationships with the environment and other people, along with a marked concern for the well-being of the environment and other people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the structure and linguistic elements of the descriptive text for class VII SMP SIMA Padang. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection technique in this study is the fishing technique. The technique of validating the research data is the triangulation technique. The steps for analyzing the data are first, identifying the data. Second, analyze the data. Third, interpret the data. Fourth, conclude the results of the data. The results of this study, namely First, in writing descriptive text class VII students of SMP SIMA Padang have used all three text structures. This is evident from the 22 descriptive texts that have been analyzed, there are 14 complete descriptive texts using identification/general description, section descriptions and conclusions, 20 texts that have a section description structure, and 14 texts that have a conclusion structure. Second, from a linguistic point of view, Class VII students of SMP SIMA Padang still have errors. This is evident from the 203 sentences analyzed, there were 140 sentences and EYD which were incorrect. This can be seen from 5 errors in the incorrect pattern of sentence elements, 128 errors in the incorrect use of capital letters, 13 errors in inappropriate prepositions, 13 errors in pronouns ku-, you-, -ku, -mu. , and -nya, and 48 errors in improper punctuation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penggunaan E-LKPD dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi pada tingkat SMA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis permintaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SMA di Kota Padang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Miles & Huberman, langkah-langkah analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan validasi data. Temuan penelitian ini mencakup tiga hal, yang meliputi: (1) analisis permasalahan yang mencakup permasalahan kurikulum, dan penerapan E-LKPD di SMA, (2) analisis konteks, dan (3) analisis solusi permasalahan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD di sekolah belum memenuhi syarat untuk membuat E-LKPD yang benar. Oleh karena itu, sekolah memang membutuhkan E-LKPD yang sesuai untuk pembelajarannya, yang disesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang ada, dalam hal ini adalah Kurikulum Merdeka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk membuat atau mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis HOTS dan berkearifan lokal sebagai media pembelajaran teks eksposisi pada tingkat SMA.
